You must have lost your mind.
About $120 for 15ml? The juice is so thick it’s about the actual consistency of AA Canadian maple syrup. It goes on, and then vanishes. It has literally ZERO projection on my skin and the scent is nice (if you keep your nostrils glued to it point blank) but is gone in under 30 minutes. No projection at rest. No sillage when moving. No longevity. Hard pass.
Projection 0/10
Sillage 0/10
Longevity 1/10
Scent 6/10
Would I buy a full bottle? Hard “No”.

Black Amber is very earthy. It smells of freshly tilled garden soil sprinkled with creamy, opulent amber drops.
It doesn’t seem to have much heft or lasting power on my skin, so I will most likely test it again with a heavier hand to get a more accurate picture.
EDIT: tried it again, and had the same results–a watery amber that smells of soil and fades quickly

These notes are so archetypical of opulence that the slightest whiff renders you awestruck. I put a dab, a very small dab, on the back of my wrist and 3 hours later my cubicle still smells of the Orient. Wow for sillage.
On me this is amber; rich, thick and resinous. I do get patchouli, not the medicinal kind but the earthy, dirty kind. It acts as a velvet tapestry for the softer vanilla, and oh my can it get any more lush?
The vanilla, I should add, is not your spice drawer variety. This is straight from the islands and bursting with sensuality. Ooh, have I said I loved this?
Thumbs up all around.

Simple but nice warm Amber scent. No whatsoever developement – just sweet and hugging.
Different batches do smell different, though. I had a small portion first, an “official” decant (5ml) in a leather pouch- which was very good.
I reordered the entire bottle – which is nastily soaked with Patchouli and the Amber is far more “far away”.
Disappointed now.
