It is fantastic how the notes written on the profile description do not match at all with the picture ones which are the same of Relent by Etro (2005) fragrance.
Compliments.
Anyway this fragrance is very chic, colonial,as many scent of this house this seems to be inspired by dandy colognes full of indian spicies and aromatic european flowers and herbs. Very 800s. I love it.

RELENT is not new.
I came across Etro’s RELENT in November 2005 in the Boscolo Plaza Hotel in Nice (F).
The fragrance was offered as standard equipment in the hotels upper level bathrooms. Since then I look for a place to buy it. Now it seams to be the time. I hope it is still the same I liked so much these days …

Although this is classified as a floral fragrance, to me the base notes were so prominant (especially the amber) that it wore like an Oriental. Whenever I wore it, I was remined of Shalimar! I ended up giving it away, since it was too “Oriental” for me. I loved the bottle though, with its swirl pattern pressed into the glass.
