This is an intense and long lasting scent for the price. I won it some years back from a blogger, so I had never tested it. I get mostly tuberose followed by gardenia. It’s not a fresh cut or green vine rose. Quite heady and reminiscent of 80’s shoulder pad perfumes. One spray is enough. I think mature women or moms would like it. But not a mild mannered mom. Someone who wants her perfume to leave an impression or has an outgoing personality. The kind of lady who doesn’t mind sillage four to five feet from her body.

Mostly gardenia. I love gardenia, but this borders on overpowering. Must be used with a light hand, a little goes a long way. Can still be detected on clothing the next day.

A very unusual mix of rose, gardenia and tuberose in that order! it is heady, rich full and lusty. All things I enjoy in a fragrance. Initially, the rose is the strongest scent, but it doesn’t take long for the tuberose to emerge with gardenia in its’ trail. I smell something deliciously spicy in the mix, quite like red carnations! I love the vibrancy of this fragrance and appreciate the dry down of a soft, powdery floral mix! It titillates my nose and evokes, in my imagination, the scent that Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty) must have worn. I do love it.
Sillage is moderate
Longevity is about 4-5 hours.

Extremely strong..i had to scrub it..headache inducer. Heavy tuberose …very powdery ..i almost never have to wash my hands after trying a perfume but this is just invasive i almost feel choking. Maybe it would be ok in another person …but it is horribly cloying on my skin. But i imagine that ..maybe it could be uber chic in somebody who is used to vintage style..because it has this retro vibe ..and now that i washed my hand it smells a bit nicer…maybe in a tiny dose it could work? mmm i don’t know …maybe tonight wasn’t the right night..

it’s definitely a tuberose perfume. not a fresh red rose. it’s nice, but if your looking for a real red rose scent, imo this is not it. and there is definitely more notes in this than what is depicted above. i smell some herbal notes, a slight powdery scent, but overall i detect tuberose the most. and i don’t get any pepper or strong spice in this at all. it’s nice for daywear and probably could be worn in the evening too as it is a warm fragrance.

A few months ago I posted a review saying I like this fragrance, unfortunately, I changed my mind. It’s become too peppery on my skin. Smells like pepper and roses on me, which in my opinion is not a good thing. So I am pressing the “dislike” button on this one.

I bought this in my early months of perfume fanaticism. I liked it sprayed in the air, and tested on a strip. I only have a small mall, and a limit on in person perfumes that I can test, this being one. Oh, and it was on sale for 20% off.
Anyway. This is a most definete floral, and I’ll start with what it’s not. It is not powdery, or velvety, or oakmossy, woody, or very multi-dimentional.
What it is: A fairly linear perfume that is slightly more ‘white’ on the top and with a breath of spicy musk on the bottom–or maybe that is my own chemistry’s spicy musk. It is sweet, the rose is a clear but syrupy sort that dominates the whole thing, but the perfume isn’t RED ROSE enough to be a solifore (sp?). “Clear” refers the withouts that I mention above. The sillage is very polite, and the lasting power is very good.
Do I like it? Yes. I like the florals, and roses, and the sweetness of it all. It doesn’t verge into sugar territory, which is good. Now–knowing what I know now, with the aresenal I have now, would I buy again? Probably not. Though I wear it infrequently enough that the 1.7 oz. bottle will probably last me 15 years.

This is a beautiful scent. I sampled it from Kohls and love it. It’s not a typical rose scent (which I don’t like) but reminiscent of a vintage scent I can’t seem to place. It seems to have a spice and excitement to it. I could smell this cologne for several hours after and must have it. The smell of this just smelled great throughout.
