FriendAmelia – :
a little sweet and a little fresh but no fresh/spice like a lancome miracle say. I recommend this to anyone who loves a white floral frag. I am going to be using this as a go to this summer because I get all the great flowers but no powder.

The Belle of the Ball! What a creamy beauty we have here! It’s not often I encounter a wrist-sniffer right off the first spray. Often I detest the opening notes, and wait for the beauty to emerge, but it’s not an issue with Belle. The first moments are instantly addictive, juicy citrus (juicy, not tart) join with the creamiest gardenia imaginable. Take the heart of gardenia from Annick Goutal’s Gardenia Passion and here you have an example. Add a touch of pepper for warmth, it does not venture into spicy territory, but for now floats, surrounds the wearer in a veil of gorgeous fragrance that is easy to wear, and easy to fall in love with. Less audacious than Fracas, Belle is the scent of a true lady, with a narcoticly addictive smile. You must have her charms and affection, or see your heart wither and die! There is a gentle, well mannered, creamy, woody base here, it smells maybe a touch musky, soft, a bit of moss keeps things from getting too sweet. This great lady is grounded, cultured, but a stunning beauty that cannot be contained or hidden. Her personality shines like her eyes, and has captured my heart! My “queen of gardenia” AG Gardenia Passion has been de-throned, unceremoniously, out onto her rump. Not to neglect the Jasmine, not indolic, but shyly peeking out like a hem of lace from under a grand gown of satin. For some reason I can picture a gentleman in suit & tie wearing this as well, despite being unabashedly feminine. As an add on note, Belle becomes a naughty girl in the very end, she gives up the lace and manners for the arms of a lover! Folks, this is a must try if you love white florals, and after test number two I must say that Mojo Magique is turning out some wonderful fragrances!

I am always interested in trying fragrances crafted in the US and this line is of particular interest because some very talented and experienced noses have concocted MojoMagique’s perfumes.
In order to get a good idea of what they have to offer, I ordered their sample pack which arrived very quickly and for a nominal price.
Firstly I have to say that this fragrance starts out with a very vintage vibe and reminded me of something I couldn’t place. Perhaps on a second try it will come to me.
Belle is a creamy white floral, gardenia is up front and personal along with a quick citrus note but the dry down is very tuberose and lush. I personally am not a white flower lover because they all turn camphorous on me but having said this, Belle did not.
It lasted for several hours, warm, creamy and floral. I really didn’t get any patchouli or woody notes but it warrants a second try to see.
Since I love to promote “BUY AMERICAN!!!” I would recommend this lovely fragrance to anyone who loves a creamy, feminine fragrance redolent of white flowers and romance!
