A lovely somewhat abstract noirish vetiver driven chypre, this is a nice example of the joys of modern perfumery where scents transport you to places and times and are not overtly concerned about radiating sweetness. In addition to the central vetiver note, the perfume features notes of pepper, fir, olibanum, citrus, mastic resin, moss, patchouli, and fennel. The perfume is somewhat masculine leaning, with moderate sillage and projection and longevity. The image I get is of raincoat and suited men huddling to their offices in the London rain, with their raincoats and perfumes giving off whiffs of their citrusy colognes. Very evocative, not very sweet and somewhat of a shape shifter, this is a nicely blended fragrance. Enjoy!

Opens with vetiver and resins, mostly mastic and something green that reminds me of conifers. The scent develops into something more blended than just resins. I smell the pepper, a gentle olibanum and a mix of vetiver and all sorts of green herbs. The drydown is a greenish soft woody incense vetiver on my skin, topped with a hint of bitter citrus and something sweet.
Sillage and longevity are both moderate on me.
I have to say I really like this scent, it’s resinous green– but not as I’ve smelled it before. It smells of forest, plants, trees, wet grass and leaves. Like a forest after a storm. I can imagine these notes have been used to soften the composition. I like it, it’s calming for me, a bit spicy and it has a nice and soft incense-vetiver combination.

This one was a big disappointment for me only because my imagination got away from me before I’d even smelled it.
I expected petrichor and did not get it, instead got a translucent cedar-like accord of vetiver, mastic, pine and maybe Iso E. Definitely a forest scent, but there is no rain. I’d hesitate to even call this a damp forest; I’d expect more earth, mushroom and moss. This is more of a high desert type forest, High Sierras maybe.
Nice enough, but I feel like a lot of work went into making a cedar perfume with no cedar in it.
