This was on special offer from my Avon lady (£3!) so I had to have it. The bottle is very pretty with a sweet embossed flower and a very girly baby-pink top. My instant thought was that this was aimed at younger women and girls-its an innocent pink, a first love pink. And thats what the fragrance is too-innocent, light, airy floral. Its an uncomplicated floral-freesia mostly to me, with little longevity or sillage. Its not sweet or fruity, it’s a simple clean light floral that wouldn’t offend anyone. I don’t get any musk at all from this, but I have Avon Soft Musk and layered them together and they fit very well. The added Soft Musk gave the Be Romantic a little backbone and longevity. All in all, this is a gentle little fragrance, probably spring-summer day time wear. I added some to my ironing water spray and it works well that way too.

The best embodiment of peony in a bottle on this planet I guess… Maybe not a very noble one but definitely graceful:)
