    A floral green indeed.
A nice green cassia leafs. A warmth of peach, a hint o flowers. Good for spring, good for rainy days. I dont know why i got impression there’s a green tea in it.
But its discontinued so i finished a sample and thats it for me, i can not become attached to it.

Blind bought this today for $9.99 for a 1oz. At first I sprayed this on a tissue and couldn’t smell it well. Next I sprayed this on the back of my hand and I am currently testing it. Upon first impressions this reminded me of Burberry Touch for women. This is what I wanted that one to smell like…that fresh green scent without the raspberry sweet note. I could see this being worn in the fall and winter. Smells cozy to me. Not a bad smell but I will update.

God I do love this! It just makes me happy. It’s fresh, it’s sweet, I can’t get enough!

I love it! I also love Gucci Envy me perfume and it smells quite similar although Bazar has a soapy warmth to it which smells like balsam to my nose. I wear this any month just like gucci envy me as it smells feminine, sparkly, w/green floral I use this as a daytime perfume.

Its pretty obvious that I love the fragrances BD creates. I would not have blind bought if it wasnt a BD creation. This is very nice and on the opening I can immediately see the YSL ILA similarity but this is a much more woody and less sweet. Fresh, fruity floral with some kick from the peppery notes. Lovely for warm days. Most definitely fresh with a touch of fruit and flowers. For a minute or two I thought there was a bit of tomato leaf but its not listed. It must be an illusion created by the cassia. There is the perfect amount of pepper and nasturtium to give the right amount of kick to balance the sweetness of the fruit notes. This is an excellent quality cheapy and its so sad that it is discontinued. Good sillage and longevity.

I quit blind buying since many of them turned out to be bad decision. But since I saw that 35 people find it similar to YSL ILA, I will do it again. It is not widely available for testing and it is very good price, so I go for it and update soon.
    UPDATE
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any similarity with YSL ILA 🙁
It smells though quite unique, I find it clean and woody at the same time, quite interesting. It has also good silage and longevity, but there is some note in base that bothers me. I will pass it as a gift or if anyone interested in swap (30ml full, boxed) for anything else, just PM me.

It was about 10 years ago that I found it on sale somewhere, and as the name sounded `retro` to me – I remembered it from my childhood – I got a 50 ml bottle.
I remember it was musky-ambery, spicy and floral with a hint of fruit in it at the same time, but with an unusually youthful twist to it, maybe a hint of orange zest? It isn`t the way I`d imagine walking through the bazaar, but definitely has an oriental vibe. Again, not happy that they discontinued it..Much more prefer it to any sugary-sweet fragrance on the market today..

I really enjoyed the very nice and happy opening, especially with a little sour note (which one?) that gives a fizzy start. After a couple minutes, very quickly, the scent becomes more and more floral, which I don’t really like. The pepper kicks in, in the dry down, and the whole thing turns, then, into a common scent. Disappointed by this one… but I must say that I am hard to please when it comes to perfumes 🙂

First, let me confess, ever since CL’s Eau Florale hit me like a lilac Bush to the face almost 15 years ago, i’ve been a sucker for anything I can find on the cheap that is from this House. I regularly stop in to Ross and TJ Maxx to see what treasure I might be able to pick up for under $20 to increase my already ridiculous perfume collection. I was just about to turn and leave the store when I saw this strange little cylindrical container and one of their plastic security boxes on the third shelf down in the back. It took me a couple of seconds to be able to decipher the faint embossing on the container before I realized what I had in my hands and immediately got on the Fragrantica website to make sure I wasn’t picking up the one lemon out of the entire collection. Skimming through the reviews, and seeing that most of them held positive promise, I immediately got in the line to check out with my little find. Once I got home, I immediately put one sprits on my neck/chest area and sat back and waited. The sweet, citrusy, floral notes immediately brought to mind to fragrances from last century: Clinique’s original Happy ( which I can no longer wear because the new formulation gives me a splitting headache within three minutes) and Shiseido’s “We’re” which was given to me as a birthday gift while I was living in Japan and have been unable to find reviews of it on this website. 20 minutes after my first spray, all I can say is this is a definitely a spirit lifting thrill of a find and I can’t wait until my husband comes home from his road trip to give me his take on it. Again, if Christian LaCroix made a perfume that smelled like a spruce tree car deodorizer, I would probably buy it. Luckily, this is one of my more precious and unique additions to my perfume collection.

I would describe this scent in a similar vein to YSL ILA or even Baby Doll but this one has more bite and is unique in its own right. It has an enormous sillage and longevity and is therefore the perfect winter fruity floral. The wonderful notes match the colour of the juice. This also could be worn by women of all ages. The bottle/lid combination is also very unique and alluring. Such a big shame they discontinued it! I hope they re release it. I will be buying 20 bottles of it!

This is zingy. A burst of peppery citrus, sweetened by peach and orange blossom, pinched by the tartness of hibiscus, blending with the skin as the time goes by into a smooth orange creaminess. Impression: intensely orange flowers. Nasturtium; even a hint of orange or yellow tulips.

I has this at early 2000’s. I don’t really remember the notes or any details. All I remember that this was different, exciting, unusual and personal. Very nice scent as far as I remember… Maybe I have to get a bottle just to refresh the memories…

Lovely! Happiness in a bottle. It starts sharp and citrusy, amd I can detect a note of passion flower, though it is not listed. After some hours it meloows into a very delicate creamy scent, and it lingers on. Shame it is no longer available in Buenos Aires…

As much as I truly wanted to love this fragrance, upon fist spritz it was very sharp and green, with a somewhat “cool” if not subdued citrus — maybe this is the orange blossom. However, an hour later, the perfume has not developed much, remaining very linear. Bazaar has now turned to a calm, tomato-garden-like-smell. It is not unpleasant, but it’s not…how I expect I’d like to smell on a woman. Or a man. Or any person. It smells like outside after the rain, like fertile earth, except more subdued. I wanted to be excited by you, Bazar, but alas…you will be lost in a swap or lot giveaway.
Update: several hours later, Bazar has sweetened up slightly, and I am definitely detecting the peach and white musk. It has developed into something almost like a true perfume now…pretty, yet odd, and definitely fitting of its name..Bazar.

Love the uniqueness of this fragrance.
Crisp, peppery, citrussy floral. Urban spring in a bottle. Name absolutely suitable.
Reminds me off outdoor shopping in Europe, spring-summer months. The scent is excellent choice for such occasions; it beats the heat, and you smell great after strenuous day in a sun promenading, eating out and spending money:) Great for casual outings.
Half a day, 6ish hours of lastage.

Bazar by Christian Lacroix is a fascinating and unique fragrance. It dares to be different, allowing the wearer to stand out in a crowd. For that reason alone, I am quite smitten.
The first time I tested this fragrance, I immediately pictured carrots. I could have sworn that there was a carrot seed accord in Bazar, because for the first few hours, it was all that I could smell. The carrot-like scent is actually a blend of peach, nasturcia and pepper. Interesting combination I must say.
Some reviewers are calling this fragrance fresh. Although it’s perfectly suitable for warm days, I wouldn’t call it particularly refreshing or crisp. It’s oddly green and warm like a ray of sunshine. Seeming that it also smells a little bit like juicy carrot sticks, I guess you could call it vegetal too. I find it a little similar to Un Jardin Sur Le Nil by Hermes.
Towards the heart and drydown, Bazar becomes quite peppery and spicy on the skin. Although a touch sharp, once your nose becomes accustomed, you’ll find the scent growing on you. Honestly, I didn’t like Bazar at first, but since my second wearing, I’m beginning to discover many lovable aspects.
I like the name Bazar, I think it explains the bizarre nature of this composition well. I only hope that the male version is just as daring.
The sillage is fairly strong but never overpowering. I guess the same could be said of the longevity. I am highly impressed by this fragrance, and am even more delighted by the fact that I scored a sample of Bazar on Ebay for ninety cents. Talk about a bargain!

Bazar is a very fresh citrus floral fragrance. It lasts long and it smells like oxygen to me. My no.1 favorite. Loved it the first time i used and and will love it forever. 🙂

i’m with janmcm on this. i liked it’s citrusy quality initially…i even smelled a tobacco note when it was just in the bottle. but as i wore it, it seemed to get stronger and stronger until it resembled a really acidic aftershave. it was so masculine on me, not floral at all sadly. i don’t do ‘green’ well and this just confirmed that. on the right person this would be beautifully summery but my skin just exacerbated the peppery-ness. in fact, by the end it reminded me of the original lacoste for men. very pungent. i felt if i’d worn it out the house, it would have entered a room before me. actually, it’s made me think i prefer more skin scents….

I got Bazar as a present, I liked it at first but I’m not so sure now. I think it’s a bit strong for me. It’s definitely better as a summer scent. I usually spray it into the air and walk into cloud so that I just catch a light covering, that seems to work better for me.

Bazar is an orange-colored peppery champagne! It’s joyful, warm and radiant. A halo. I wear it on special occasions like Opera, and/or on a special clothing. Autumn & winter rather than spring & summer. I absolutely love it ♥

This was a fresh strong citrusy scent withsome warmth, however there is something about this that doesn’t lure me in, it’s just got something off about it to my nose. I sprayed it and my husband was sniffing the room and wasn’t sure if it was a male or female scent, nor was he sure whether he liked it. No sale.

Juicy and very sour fruity floral fragrance.
Good enough, but I like it only in the beginning of its opening. Then it becomes too strong and sour on me. Most of all I feel the citrus note, the hibiscus note and the nasturtium note in it.
I would wear it if it was a little bit less strong. Its lasting power is great.

A fresh and playful spring/summer fragrance suitable for women of all ages. When I first sniffed it I was 100% sure there was apple in the notes and then was really surprised that it is predominantly floral. IMO Bazar is similar to the classic Burberry Woman, especially in the base notes. It is easy to wear in the office but I guess it would also be perfect for a romantic date in the evening. And last but not least, very good staying power!

This is a beautiful, delicate fresh and floral, long lasting and easy to wear scent. I bought my bottle without testing lured by the reviews here and truly enjoy it for a few months already. Not many sophistication in it but sniffing it evokes a smile and if I feel like something simply nice floral I take Bazaar as my companion on a sunny day. Love it, rally nice.

I am usually not into floral-green fragrances. But, I decided to give this one a try (I even bought a full bottle without trying it first)!
Even if this is not one of my favorites, I have to admit that this is a pretty interesting fragrance.
Top notes are peppery and quite strong, but it settles to a nice and very zesty scent. I do smell citruses in this one, but citruses with a punch. In fact, I have to say that this smells citruses and pepper on me!
At the drydown, I detect an orange juice smell adding to my peppered citruses. lol I guess I’ve got a strange chemistry…
I am only amazed by all the flowers in this fragrance when I cannot even detect one of them. Funny, but how interesting as an end result.
Edit: As the fragrance is fading away, I am left with a delicious caramel scent on my skin. Bazar is indeed a strange and surprising fragrance.

Christian Lacroix’ Bazar is an instant favorite for spring/summer! Top notes are apricot flower, pepper, nectarine and yuzu; middle capucine, rose and frangipani; base guiac wood, iris and sycomore. A modern and sweet floral green composition, the drydown is splendid after a delightful top passes! I do not detect citrus although it is mentioned in the database; more woody and sweet. Reminds me of YSL ‘Y’ quite a bit. Love at first sniff!

My mom gave me this perfume 4 years ago for my birthday and it became my #1 favorite ever since. It is a very modern radiant floral fragrance. I love this perfume for its long-lasting quality as well. Try it you won’t regret! I just love-love-love-love-love it!!! 🙂

    Bazar is a floral-fresh fragrance.
It’s delicate, joyful, optimistic, friendly, lovable, energetic and dynamic.
For women of all ages to wear on summer days.
The bottle was designed by Federico Restrepo. The box also draws attention – a metal cylinder closed with lids made of orange-red plastic.
Safe and quite universal fragrance, shapely and well-done bottle and original packaging makes Bazar a good idea for a present.
