Barbasol is not actually a “copy” of Skin Bracer. It was introduced around the same time, yes, but they are both pretty much representative of what was considered a nice everyday aftershaving scent for gentlemen.
Barbasol is less sweet than Skin Bracer, smelling a great deal like the original Barbasol shaving cream, hence making it even better for humid weather, but it does not last as long. THe drydown features the typical “barbershop” aroma, but with more lavender and less musk. It’s an excellent unisex choice for a light summer daytime fragrance.

This is basically a copy of Skin Bracer using a slightly harsher lavender and mint on a base of bitter instead of sweet vanilla. It’s debatable but there may be a little more menthol in Brisk. Goes pretty well with other lavender-centric colognes but winds up smelling flatter and simpler than Mennen’s iconic fougere. Stick with the original if you can, but otherwise this is a decent substitute.
