I recently received a bottle of Bamboo America by accident from an overseas supplier. I have to admit I am glad I decided to keep it. This fragrance is not outstanding but still very pleasant with a fresh, clean smell.
It opens with a goodly hit of bergamont, a touch of cedar and just a little violet. A few hours later I mostly smell Iris and violet with a hint of green apple. (sort of like Granny Smith and not the yucky sweet kind of smell) I think the Sandlewood might be in there smoothing things out but it is not prominant.
For the price, if you happen upon a bottle I would say go for it. A few sprays in the morning takes me through till the end of the day and is not overpowering in the office. This is just nice.

rarely do i say anything negative about a fragrance an olivier composite. but this one was not a good fragrance to me. i like the original bamboo so much more and even the females version of the original..
lets get to it.. it has a strong sharp notion to it similar to azzaro’s chrome and just does not have a easy tone to it… it starts of strong it stays on strong and it just is way to sharp!! i would say it is better than chrome but i’m not one to enjoy those type of sharp notes.. i will say it does last 8-10 hrs even after i got home and washed it off it was still there..
as with any juice i test with one good spritz.
sorry to say this but i was let down and to me this one was a loss.. 🙁

Sounds amazing! I love the women’s version, though sometimes it comes off a little synthetic. It also has some of my favorite notes, will revise once tested.
