Description
New Zealand fashion designer Karen Walker presents her first fragrance collection Karen Walker Eau de Parfum in April 2015. The collection consists of three fragrances named after the first three letters of the alphabet: A, B and C. The perfumes are made by the oldest perfume house Charabot from Grasse.
B is a lush, feminine and delicious floral – gourmand fragrance. At the top are notes of bergamot, pink pepper and grapefruit leading to the heart of iris, white rose, peach and jasmine sambac. The base consists of accords of patchouli and vanilla.
The fragrances are available in bottles of 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The bottles are designed by Pochet du Courval.

I’m a big fan of iris in a fragrance, so this one caught my eye. I don’t usually go for the flowery edible perfumes but this one isn’t too sweet, it’s quite complex. Sure, it’s got some vanilla which warms it up but overall it’s a great option if you like a lush fragrance without being overpowered by it.

Like all the Karen Walker fragrances, this starts out with a sharp announcement of its presence and dried down to be velvety, warm, and notably long lasting. Floral but not overwhelmingly so. With the pepper, roses, and tonka beans, this might have been made with me in mind. Friend tried it with me and veered between “Hm, this reminds me of a lot of other fragrances out there” and “I think this is the one of the three I want to buy.”
