Description
“The creative directors Mert Guzel and Murat Katran first aimed to capture the aromas that they fantasise to suit the best the asteroid of the Little Prince to make the wearers feel what it is like to be on your own astreoid. According to the novella, Asteroid B-612 was first discovered by a Turkish Astronomer and NISHANE becomes the first perfume house to materialize the scent of the Asteroid B-612. B-612 will make the wearer imaginative, open-minded, and aware of and sensitive to the mystery and beauty of the world with its alluring structure bringing back the forgotten traits from the childhood.” – a note from the brand.
B-612 was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Chris Maurice.

Equally so is your ridicuolus response. The prson has their own opinion and made the effort to go to an exclusive event so why are you being so focrcful with *your opinions??
If I dislike a fragrance, and I really wanted to like Nishane but frankly, Pasion-choco disappointed me so much as an orangey-skittle’s screeching mess and others have not fared much better!
I love Turkey and all, but this like Tom ford (and many other brands as i’m picky) disappointed me – we have a right to express our rightful (real-testing based) views!
You can get all the popularity you want but in principle by forcing your opinion, you are being a dictator

B-612 is a thousand-layer perfume – it’s earthy, aromatic, even musty and mineral. It has the smell of the cypress twig crushed between fingers, the smell of wet earthy patchouli and the smell of lavender that at times presents itself even minty. The aromatic woody qualities are rounded and sweetened by tonka bean and cashmeran ( a quality of synthetic musk) that guarantees a musky woody background. The fragrance is particular, but very pleasant.
B-612 is the smell of serenity!
B-612 was the asteroide the Little Prince (by Antoine de Saint-Exupèrie) came from. It was his home planet…
It’s not enough to say I consider it to be a wonderful idea. Drawing with the smell the idea about contrast between the unlimited way of children to see the World and the way of thinking of adults considered to be narrow minded and mean; telling us about the importance of a place that can be considered proper, the home, that for the Little Prince was the asteroid B-612, is infinitely fascinating.
But beyond that, the asteroid B-612 is also a reference to a widespread phenomenon – the fear of the unknown and the contempt of the stranger that derives from ignorance. The narrator of the book explains that the discovery of the asteroid B-612 was not immediately believed as the scientist presented himself at the scientific commission wearing traditional Turkish clothing. The second time he presented his discovery he did it in Western clothes, he was accepted and the discovery was recorded.

Dear iputasmellonyou,
I can hardly believe that you went to Esxence and had the chance to smell the new creations of Nishane because if you did so you could never make such biased comments! That is the only way for you to make the first awful comment to a brand that you kind of hate even before the scent is on the shelves. It’s really so sad to see people trying to discredit a brand which is very well known with its combining the art of storytelling with artistic perfumery. It’s a shame!
First of all, the beloved rose of the Little Prince is pictured in the other perfume of this collection which is called “Vain & Naïve” but not with this scent “B-612” that depicts how it smells on the asteroid B-612. This is the first mistake of @iputasmellonyou . Even from the notes listed above, one can understand that it has nothing to do with being industrial. Rather it is a strong fougere that transmits the feeling of serenity that teleports you to your inner child.
So @iputasmellonyou , if you want to discover the smell of this beautiful rose, please refer to the other perfume in this collection. But because you seem to be lacking imagination, probably you will expect that it should smell like “rose”. Just like other forms of art, we see that Nishane tries to interpret different concepts from their own perspective.
Another line from @iputasmellonyou : “I just have the impression that Nishane use a French emblem to make money. I just hope this is not the case”.
Despite the problematic English here, I think you just think that referring to a French book is a very bad thing for a brand like Nishane that is not French. This is pure bigotry and ignorance. The novel “The Little Prince” is a gift to the humanity that mentions about universal values and emotions. How come you can limit any nationality not to make any reference to this important story in their creations of any art form including perfumery. By the way, we must add that according to the book the asteroid of the Little Prince is discovered by a Turkish astronom. Nishane wanted to discover the smell of the atmosphere of this asteroid. There is nothing bad about it!
Lastly, @iputasmellonyou defines the category of this perfume which he/she never smelled as “not niche”. It’s really interesting.

I had the opportunity this year to go to the 10th edition of Esxence, and so discover many new scents, perfumes and universes. Before I went there, I heard Nishane’s new release, the B612, a reference to the famous Little Prince.
And I must say that I was disappointed. Despite a beautiful reference of the Rose (Chapter VIII if you want to see her beauty) as in the book, the smell seems industrial, not quality, and therefore invasive.
I just have the impression that Nishane us a French emblem to make money. I just hope that is not the case.
As you will understand I am disappointed by this perfume which, I think, cannot be put into the category of niche perfume but rather perfume of megastores.
