To make a long story short, this has a very classic vibe to it. Looking at the notes, they chose a unique path of getting there but it works! It’s Azzaros club scent for a reason; it’s not shy! DO NOT be intimidated by the cannabis notes though. This is a bold fragrance, the cannabis note is not very noticeable. This was a inexpensive, blind buy for me and i am extremely pleased with it! If your looking for a real head turner, give Azzaro Club for Men a chance!

I tried layering this with Guerlain Vetiver, and later with Sunrise Vetiver by Franck Olivier, and it worked well with both! The Guerlain added some spice and depth, while the Sunrise, as it is a lighter vetiver, added spice but blended well with the Azzaro club scent.
Longevity is around 6-8 hours, after 3 it becomes a skin scent. Great scent…haven’t smelled much like it.
However the “club” moniker is a misnomer. I can’t see anyone wearing this to a club unless the club is in the bahamas or Brazil. This is more of a summer music festival scent.

I happened to layer this with Encre Noir as was mentioned below by someone else…and wow! It is like both created a new fragrance.
Two sprays AC with two sprays of EN on top was what I did. The EN adds depth and grounds the AC, while the AC shakes off the moodiness and weight of EN.
After about 5 hours it is a skin scent, but these do smell great together. I’ll try it with Guerlain’s Vetiver and see how it blends.

Light fruity and nice fragrance that doesn´t resemble any other to me…personally I don´t see its link or homage to “retro” colognes of the 80s (which I wear quite often) but still it´s rather nice one with moderate projection 7/10

lol just read some reviews on how this resembles to Aventus…i have both….they are not even remotely alike…
is this one bad ? not at all…an ok fragrance but 100% not a aventus smell-alike…
    7/10

This smells too similar to Aventus for it to be a coincidence.
Papaya is a similar fruit to pineapple, and this is an extremly similar scent to Aventus. It’s a bit creamier, and a bit lighter, more fun, less territorial.
It fits the branding – sort of reminds me of a fruity cocktail, with citrus and a bit of coconutty creaminess.

That all too familiar moment when you stumble on a cheapie and you purchase it due to the unbeatable price, the house and of course the scent that initially caught your attention (a scent we will eventually learn to love or like… or just give away). We create a project out of the scent… essentially creating a scenario or season in our mind for wearing it. This was my situation and mindset when I purchased Azzaro Club Men. I can confidently say that the liking of the fragrance took very little time and that the project was a success.
The opening is a beautiful mix of citrusy hinoki and papaya. The hinoki and papaya play off each other perfectly. The citrusy aspect of the hinoki really elevates the the fruitiness of the papaya. In the mid there is a clear hemp oil like note, that is earthy and green. Strangely the hemp note really gives this scent its’ uniqueness and when paired with the hinoki and papaya gives the scent a more earthy green punch and brings out the more cypress side of the hinoki. Finally, the lemon and musk come in to round out this scent and give it a fresh and musky base. This fragrance comes off at times creamy and at times soapy, which to me is all one could ask for. Club Men performs well and projects decently for its’ price. This fragrance is a workhorse I easily get 12 hours on just a couple of sprays. Club Men is perfect for gents in their late twenties to mid forties who need that stepping out with the guys scent. Club Men works well in warmer weather so, spring, summer and early fall are the perfect seasons to wear this scent. Keep this fragrance out of the office and wear it at night, it is intriguing and has a lightly sweet, smokey, dark aura which is ideal for a night out.
Club Men is a cheapie to take that chance on! Azzaro drops real gems from time to time and Club Men is no exception. Give Club Men a spray when your buddies are forcing you to go out and you really aren’t in the mood, Club Men will free the cool guy that is within you and finally give him some freedom and a good time out.

Azzaro Club has a very strong retro vibe. It smells like a classic men’s fragrance that is soapy and green.
Club opens with citrus and creamy papaya notes with a stinging, sharp green accord behind it. The astringent green accord quickly subdues the creamy fruity accord (which is the only pleasant aspect of Club in my opinion) but allows the citrus to remain. We are left a soapy, green, and citrus fragrance that is very heavy… paying homage to the 80s powerhouses. However, as much as respect as it pays to the grandfathers, it’s not a beast in terms of projection or sillage.
I’m surprised to see people call this a “fresh” fragrance as I find it very heavy and bold.
If you are expecting anything amicable, crowd pleaser, or generically good, I’d stay away from this Club.

This perfume forced me to write a review of it. I bought 75ml bottle and I am happy with the decision that I didn’t waste my money. This is a kind of fragrance you can wear at different occasions. I prefer to use it in office or in party wear. Projection and longevity is quite good. I would suggest do not do over spray. 2 on neck and 1 on wrist will be enough.

A nice cheapie scent! first its a blast of geen notes, espicially hinoki that seems to me a cypress scent Nice. Then, it evolves with the tropical and citrus fruityness. there is a little bit of ”hemp” note (sad ahah)
This fragrances is more a spring and summer scent at night.
Very a casual scent, even for clubbing for those who love that scent. Don’t wear at the office because you will look suspect. Fair longevity (4-6 hrs). good projection
6/10 but for the price you can’t go wrong

From poker players review a lightbulb flashed on for me…
The “Aventus” frag for our contemporary times. It might take a couple of wears before you feel it but there are some parallels. This is not a clone just a similar style. More green than fruity, and not smokey at all on my skin.
Total love and one of my wife’s faves on me.

yes absolutely yes…the previous reviewer several boxes down nailed it!!!!! this smells of unsmoked hash…its true…what a great comparison/analogy!!! as i just have aquired this and it is simply an amazing unique scent…very herbal..very raw hashish..very suedish note at first spray..intense green and musky cream laying in the backround…but it is on the mild to medium strength category as it did fade quikly the first hour on my arms and hands….yet,,under clothes and on…it whisps up and around me…and i already know it will last much much longer under shirt and on clothing..bare skin..not soo much..this imo is an 8.9/10…overall…strength is 6.5..im very happy with this because its unique and unusual..THANKYOU MR ERIC.CIUS review for opening up that olfactory door in my mind…yes unsmoked hash for sure!! and yes il layer it with EN & ENS also!! merry xmas!!

With all of the love for Creed Aventus and the many people who seem to want to find a clone I was amazed to find nobody had mentioned this.
Granted the quality of this juice is among the worst I have tried; 2 hours in and you can barely smell it as a skin scent. But the opening and early drydown, at least on my skin, is identical to Creed Aventus. So much so that if I was to blind try them I wouldn’t notice the difference other than the obvious brut strength of the Creed. Well that didn’t make any sense did it?
What I mean is this, this juice is good for an hour or so and is as close to Creed Aventus as a cheaply made synthetic cologne can be.
I don’t get why it is not super popular since it sells for like $15 or $20 and could be an excellent travel atomizer clone that people just re-apply a lot. Then again, you might have to re-apply it so dang often that Aventus might be cheaper LOL. 🙂
EDIT: Well maybe I was wrong about the price. I paid $17.77 for a 75ml bottle which was on clearance and just assumed it was now a cheapie, but I searched for it online after writing my review and found it is actually not quite as cheap as I suggested. I guess I lucked out!

I’m a perfume aficionado from India and I review perfumes that I have used. My comments on perfumes are based upon how they perform in the climatic conditions of my country. In other words, a certain fragrance may perform differently in other countries as compared to where I live. Moreover, my comments are based upon how people react to different scents.
I bought this a couple of years back from Flipkart. It was a blind buy but I had humungous expectations from it as Ive been using Azzaro perfumes for over 15 years and this was supposed to be a different kind of scent.
Presentation: I bought a 75 ml bottle for about Rs 1700. The bottle is pretty cute with a kitschy cap.The sprayer is pretty ok.. nothing really to write home about.
Smell: Well the fragrance itself is very very unique. Its different from the other Azzaro perfumes. Its woody and tropical. It was launched in 2013. The notes are lemon, papaya, cannabis and hinoki. The first blast is very refreshing and promising but sadly the top notes fade within 10 minutes. What we are left with is a hint of smoky cannabis .This could have been Azzaro’s best creation but for its performance. The sillage and longevity are very poor. You have to spray it generously to get a longevity of up to 6 hours.
    Rating:
Fragrance: 8/10…On a scale of 10 and 5 being average, the fragrance itself gets an 8 just for its uniqueness and refreshing vibe
Sillage: 4/10..The sillage is extremely poor. In a matter of minutes it becomes more of a skin perfume
    Projection: 4/10
    Performance: 4.3/10
Overall rating: 5.6/10. It gets a 5.6 just because of its fragrance.
Final Word: I’ve never received a single compliment whenever I’ve worn this probably due to its poor projection and sillage. There are better performing scents available in the market at this price. I wouldn’t recommend buying this unless you are an aficionado and want to try a poor performing unique smelling fragrance.

I blind bought Azzaro Club for the cannabis note. Sadly, it’s not there. Maybe if I let my imagination run wild I can get a vague suggestion of cannabis. It does not smell like marijuana burning or otherwise.
This edt is papaya on a woody musk. At first spray the papaya comes on strong and more artificial. Wait thirty minutes and it smooths out and becomes a bit creamier. Azzaro Club has a smokey quality to it. I might compare it to the “smokey pineapple” in Aventus. This is smokey papaya. I’m not excatly sure what Hinoki smells like but the woody musk base of this scent does have a unique pungent quality to it. This may come from the papaya though.
Longevity, sillage and projection are average. Maybe below average. Two sprays to the chest give me around eight hours. People will have to get close to smell it. No compliments yet but I think this may appeal to some. I’d say this is a unisex scent that leans slightly masculine. Good for spring, summer and fall. Bottle design is underwhelming. I do like the disco ball style cap. Sprayer is okay.
At first I disliked this fragrance but I have to admit that it has grown on me some. It is a unique fragrance that uses some uncommon notes. It’s also pretty cheap. This is not a fragrance I’d wear in a club. I don’t find it particularly sexy.
Bottom line: Interesting, different fragrance. Performance could be a little better. At least it’s cheap!

Woman reviewing this one. This is a really pretty scent; green and citrusy. Bought it just for the cannabis note, which I don’t get. 🙁 A very inoffensive scent, wouldn’t dream about going clubbing with it. It is perfect for everyday, but be prepared to reapply it constantly as the longevity is almost not existent.

    Hi all,
So I keep an eye on Azzaro fragrances because they tend to be decently made without being too pretentious in price or hype. While some are sub par on my skin (decibal, visit, nighttime); some of them are really beautiful (silver black, homme) and Club is definitely one of them.
Where I find silver black or onyx as more of a fresh throwback on the drakkars and sungs; club takes the masculineness of those 80s-90s colognes and adds a beatiful fresh (from fruit) and earthy (from greens) layer. It’s a contemporary polo Green (original) blended with a great citrusy opening, that finishes with a nice musky earthy dry down reminiscent of hugo (but better, on me).
Lasts all day, but doesn’t project all day with under 3 sprays. I’m great with that, as even after you wash it, it’s still on your shirts. My wife loves it. I love it. See it? Get it. But only if you like green and earthy fresh. Its a great summer night alternative to the aquacitruses on every shelf. Enjoy!
Edit: Hummer Black and Davidoff Champion are similar to this for me. Hummer Black is very linear but gets softer when it dries down, whereas Club Men is fresh and green opening that becomes slightly muskier as it dries.

Just bought a bottle blind because it was very cheap. This reminds me Kokorico, but a fresher version. I can’t compare them because I don’t own Kokorico, I just had some samples long time ago. I also reminds me Sculpture, Nikos. Performances are good, but marketing is poor. I can imagine a lot of nice things when smelling this, but not clubbing, even if it is a good performer. I imagine something much more relaxing than clubbing. Club is suited for the Fall. Nice clean fragrance. Don’t understand why people don’t rave about it.

Many Azzaro scents, and I think most of then at least around here where I live, are being selling on very good prices. It must be an example that this house lost some credit, and I myself are not a real fan, despite the fact that I really think Azzaro pour Homme is a great scent till today. I´m certain many will think this Azzaro Club Men is a simple scent without personality (great, less people wearing it), and for that I think exactly the opposite. Run away with you are looking for a One Million ou 212 Vip Men type of scent (to my nose one of the mostly copied sweet smell from recent years): Azzaro Club Men is anything but. I can wear it even during the day. As how it happens with Gucci Made to Measure, it is another scent I can wear without worring about using a perfume, I mean, they are those type of scent that resolve any doubt of choice, whith the plus of smelling good and suit. Nice bottle, and I´m finding it at a laughable price. Not a kid scent, nor overly mature.

Kudos for this being if not the only but very few male scents to use hemp as a note. I have only smelled a handful of such type scents and it is usually paired with patchouli or a gourmand note. This being paired with hinoki, which is a fresh note as in Liquidnight is something different. It’s more of a fresh/fruity light cannabis scent. The scent is more appropriate for days as it does not project much but longevity is between 6-8 hours on my skin. It’s a well priced scent for bright days when you don’t wanna wear an aquatic or neroli based scent.

Released in 2013, it began to appear in Brazilian stores in 2014. It has a simple composition, with notes of lemon and papaya, in the output; Cannabis, in the heart; Hinoki and musk, in the base.
The output is generic and fruity. On my skin, the lemon didn’t show up! I didn’t feel any aromatic, acidic or citric nuance. On the other hand, the papaya is quite vivid. It’s amazing how the aroma of the fruit stands out in a natural way. I feel the same smell of the ripe fruit recently sliced.
With respect to Cannabis note, more controversial, don’t expect to feel the intense smoky smell of the weed. This nuance that resembles some types of patchouli, with aroma of burnt hay, does not exist in this fragrance. Particularly, I feel greater presence of the essential oil from the hemp seeds (hash oil) than the smoke itself. Then, the result is an aroma more resinous, yet addictive and of greater duration. This helps increasing the durability of the scent on the skin.
At the end of evolution (although the result is almost linear), it is possible to feel the presence of Hinoki, which is a Japanese cypress with woody and lemony aroma. It seems that the lemon was added to the base notes, instead of the top notes.
In some ways, I see Azzaro Club Men as a variation of Azzaro Pour Homme Onyx (Silver Black), even though it didn’t pick up the concept of “Club”. At this point, I think Azzaro Decibel was more consistent. Now, with respect to the projection and longevity, there is no reason for complaints.
In my opinion, Azzaro Club Men is an aromatic-fruity quite versatile (but not innovative). I Liked!

Initial blast of lemon and papaya is pleasant and I would say lasts most of the fragrance’s very long life but as another reviewer said it morphs into a Smokey pineapple.
I see here most dont get the cannabis note but maybe it’s because they’re looking for the wrong type? What i don’t get is “bud”, kush, indo whatever its called now a days. The cannabis note I get is unsmoked Jamaican gold seal hash. Yes sir. Love it, and as I suspect only people who have come into contact with premimum hash will recognise it as its a different smell than “green” weed.
At the beginning I get a smell that reminds me of zincofax, the zinc oxide cream for baby rashes. Thankfully that goes away in about 20 minutes, so yes you need to be patient with this one but its worth it.
At the very end the musk gets more prominent and the scent gets woodier.
This fragrance is dynamite when layered with encre noir!!
Wow! Spray club first and then encre noir over the spots you sprayed with club. Magic.
If you have EN, get yourself club and vice versa.
Club is a good long last good projection fragrance. 7/10
    Layered with Encre Noir 10/10

I made the mistake of wearing this to the office today :). Whilst the cannabis is not strong it can be detected if so you get up close.
I get old-school shaving cream vibes from this fragrance (good thing in my book), had to double check and was suprised that this was launched in 2013.
The opening is more creamy fruit than citrusy which settles down to a smoky shaving cream scent with a tinge of green. This frag performs well with good sillage and decent longevity.
I like this fragrance. Will just have to wear it out of the office.
    Scent : 14/20
    Longevity : 6/10
    Projection : 7/10
    Total : 6.75/10 … Smokey and creamy.

I tested this based on the amazing reviews & fell in love with it on my first sniff :). I immediately bought it yesterday evening & didn’t bother too much if it would perform well on me or not. I am wearing it today & still after 5 hours of applying, I can’t stop sniffing my wrist & cloths every now & then – I just love it !
I haven’t got any compliments yet but I am sure I’ll do get some in a while as this gem deserves it.

    well done from Azzaro,,
the initial blast of this is not that unique , you might actually consider it very common . however , wait after about 30 minutes and you’ll get that musky fresh smell that is pleasant and somewhat unique.
longevity on this is solid , between 6 to 8 hours consistently that is as far as I tested it. it might be even more.
projection is moderate. you’ll be able to smell yourself throughout the day and others will notice.
I’ll give it 7 out of 10 . (Update: after several wearings , I give it 5 out of 10 .. really disappointed in this)
also , the bottle in reality is well done and actually looks very good .

  38. :

    3 out of 5

First off, I wouldn’t call this a club or party type scent, though I only used one spray. The notes seem natural enough and the papaya is strong for a while. The cannabis is more of a “dirty” herbal background note. The wood is quite interesting, more smoky than reisnous or dry, and at times has a “chemical” aspect, probably due to a synthetic musk or wood molecule. Unlike in other scents I’ve tried, however, it seems to be appropriate in this composition (something one might find in an extract), and while it’s not too obvious in any case, it does seem to irritate me. Overall, this scent seems to be more for the aficionado who is looking for a specific kind of composition rather than for those who wear the most popular scents. It isn’t sweet, nor powdery, nor fresh. If I had sprayed more this might be quite different so I’ll have to do that and update this review at some point. If it sounds like something you might like, the prices now are quite hard to resist!
UPDATE: The longevity is incredible, most likely due to aroma chemicals. However, my guess is that quite a few people can’t smell them after a few hours or so. I think those around you will, though.

Bought on first sniff. Very fruity with a strong Papaya note not so much lemon on my skin. Dries down to an intensive smoky wood on me which lingers for a very long time. In the dry down it is a very masculine scent. Had a few compliments tonight on my first wearing. Very impressed.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

Wow! I really like this one. I don’t get much cannabis, but the citrus and papaya really come through in the opening, and whatever is in the drydown in very nice. Kinoki? It reminds me of an Azzaro version of Black XS; well mannered, but down for a good time. The price is right too. I can see this one working in the club or the office…given that no one else picks up the weed note. That’d be pretty bad.
Don’t own it yet, but thumbs up so far.

  42. :

Generic and one dimensional, just follows the current trend. If you fancy the cannabis note go for Kinski.

I didn’t expect it … but this scent is simply amazing for me, tried it in the shop loved it on my skin now 5 hours later still loving the ambience 🙂 the dry down is awesome (smells like vanilla, pineapple and musk).
