I have a vegetable garden near Rome, in the morning, in summer, after having watered, when the sun’s rays start to heat it, is the scent that rises from the earth: the green sweetish of the leaves of the warmed tomatoes, the damp earth and a smell of tomato juice . This is what I feel.
Report from the site: With a phyto-perfume extract called Satinwood (a jasmine-orange arrangement), Aube Pashmina really makes vibrate between the sweetness of the flowers (jasmine, orange and geranium) and the green of the leaves of cassis, basil, rosemary and tomato. This oscillation between the freshness of green notes and the sweetness of jasmine and orange charms up to the drydown, which has the austere quality of a vintage green chypré.

A fresh, citrussy fig with quite a strong citronella note to open. Something of a cool Mediterranean church. This turns to a fresh tomato leaf. Pleasant and herby. Quickly a saltier marine note appears. For me, it’s a more non-linear and masculine version of Phaedon’s Pure Azure. Note-wise, I should love it. But it just disappears too quickly, leaving a fairly unexciting trace.

A straightforward green perfume with a note of tomato leaves propped up by geranium-basil mix.

Aromatic, very rosemary but also sweet and I’m not sure what note that is some kind of fruit not tomato. Maybe a citrus. I smell something a bit minty also which is not in the notes. For me this isn’t particularly exciting or exotic but it’s nice and very green.

Opened green and sharp with loads of basil and freshly cut grass, for my nose – a very interesting creation. The grass felt really natural and would be a winner for anyone who loves green fragrances.
Unfortunately at the heart part it settled down to be a woody/soapy and a bit sweet skin scent with bits of grass in the background. Unfortunately doesn’t seem too interesting for me.
Stays very close to skin, the staying power is average, around 4-5 hours.

    Green is my passion.

This is the clean, fresh smell you’d get when trimming flower stems before putting them in a vase – green, with a slight lush quality which could be coming from the tomato leaf, but in context seems ever so slightly floral. Another reviewer used the word “fleshy” and I think that’s spot-on. It smells like Spring!
So airy, but, I fear, bordering on *too* clean; the longer it’s on the skin, the more it makes me think of soap or air freshener.

I love this green fragrance. Somehow even though I’m female I tend to smell “clean shaven’ when wearing this. It tries to slide toward the scale of “bug spray” but just before it dips its big toe in the water it jumps back and stays on shore. I think I’ll try alfarom’s idea and try layering it with something else. Very much a unisex fragrance. I am reminded of my bottle of Cristalle by Chanel. It’s an original version and has that dry green smell to it.

This scent is not the kind I usually wear, but Aube Pashmina is a very interesting and very wearable scent.
The opening was a little much for me, very bitter and medicinal, but within a few minutes that gives way to a luxuriant bouquet of herbs and plants.
It truly does smell like a garden in the early hours of the morning, still damp from the night’s rain and covered with the dawn’s dew.
The basil takes the spotlight on my skin, and it’s very fresh and clean with a herby-spiciness that jazzes the scent up a little.
There is a definite underlying sweetness to this. Not the sugary kind of sweetness, but the fresh kind like in a cooked tomato. And this provides a great counterpoint to the freshness, bitterness and greenness of the other notes.
A scent for the warmer weather, no doubt, and it lasts very well.

Just amazing! A very green summer fragrance that is just perfect on my female skin and definitely will be wonderful for a man. It gives a feeling of being somewhere on the coutryside just after the rain that brought a little freshness in the air. I love it!

This scent opens with a burst of citrus- bergamot predominant. Then, a moment of floral and bursts into fleshy green vines and tomato. A lush garden that I would recommend for men.

Nice fragrance, very green and fresh at first but in the drydown it gets a little too soapy and sweet for my nose. I’m trying to layer it with some incense based fragrance to see what happens..
