Description
The house of Louis Vuitton is launching a new addition to the women’s Les Parfums Louis Vuitton collection – the fragrance called Attrape-Rêves (“Dream Catcher”) – inspired by unexpected and magical experiences like witnessing a large meteor shower.
To capture the experience of euphoria and dreams of exciting adventures, perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud chose the olfactory direction of the composition as “explosive, lively and surprising.”
Top notes: bergamot, ginger, lychee
Heart: peony, cocoa flower, Turkish rose
Base: patchouli essence
Louis Vuitton Attrape-Rêves will be available in quantities of 100 and 200 ml Eau de Parfum from mid-September 2018. The perfume can also be stored in a leather box crafted in the Louis Vuitton workshops, marked with initials of your choice.

Less sweet than La Vie est Belle, less cashmeran than Flowerbomb, more citrus pear than Coco; you get the idea. Tons of sugar, vanilla. Suppose the name fits if you dream often of candy shops. The patchouli seems a nicer quality than that in the disastrous candle they’ve just released.
Commercial. Like a dozen other things. Ridiculously priced. The transparent sprayer is cooler than the fragrance; that is, until you use it, and the refraction magic is lost. Pity they spend money on useless gimmicks. Seems only vanillin and maltol fit into the budget after that.

I’m really liking this perfume. Attrape reves is what I would call gourmand light. It is not overly sweet or cloying and all the notes are beautifully blended. It starts off fruity and then the flowers join in and finally the patch and cocoa finish it off. If you like bold scents like Angel and La Vie est Belle you will probably be disappointed. Where those shout, Attrape reves whispers. That doesn’t mean that people around you can’t smell it because Ive been complimented when I wear it. The quality is definitely there and I’m enjoying wearing it. Lasts a long time on my skin and even longer on clothes.

Notes of Lychee, Rose, Cocoa… I was imaging a beautiful gourmand like Pierre Hermes’ Ispahan macaroon. But now that I’ve tried it, I will conclude that it is nowhere near.
It is a rather common juicy pink fruit-chouli; instantly recognisable as a sister of Angel, La Vie Est Belle, Valentina, so on…
It has a slightly sour opening thanks to the citrus and lychee (not distinctly identifiable, just a general fruity contribution). Then it develops (not much) into a sweeter, less sour patchouli scent. The cocoa flower is not detectable at all, which is a little disappointing.
Very mediocre I think, and for a third or quarter the asking price I would say dupes are very easy to find.

This scent is a noble version of CK Euphoria to me. When it is freshly sprayed, it smells very complex; notes are hardly detectable – the composition is well-blended. Flowers make the scent cheerful and optimistic and do not let the scent become too ‘fatale’ or wintery. Dry-down is a bit soapy, smells like sakura.
Overall, it is a pleasant fragrance, quite safe and universal, ultra feminine. Sillage is moderate.

This is different. It maybe not a complete masterpiece like contre moi or matiere noire, but definitely is more interesting than apogee.
Update: Final verdict, I dont like it. It doesnt smell fresh. this is now my least favorite louis vuitton perfume.
