I am quite impressed with this fragrance especially because it is a cheapie. I have never smelled Tom Ford’s Black Orchid which I see many are comparing it to. It is just as well so now I can let it stand on its own merits. It is a smoky sweet concoction. Very well blended and really lovely. It has moderate sillage and i get wafts of it as i sit here typing…divine. I get mainly blackberry, orchid, incense and amber.

Deleting my old negative review and rewriting it – what I perceived as rough in the warmer days of the year now seems diamond pretty in the winter chill. This perfume went from a ‘dislike’ to ‘love’ which is something that rarely happens to me.
In the winter this is sweet and cozy: the green notes evoke nostalgia of the green and flowery days of spring. The chocolate notes swirl LNDG with a scent of romance. This is a very complex fragrance – I don’t think there is a lot of perfumes on the market that evoke greenery in the winter like this: sweet, chocolatey, airy, green, clean. To fully appreciate this scent I think you have to not compare it to Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. Tom Ford’s Black Orchid is similar to this but can be TOO MUCH. I’m definitely not a sex kitten, I can’t pull perfumes that are lusty and sweaty and hot like Black Orchid off. LNDG is perfect for gals like me: classy, sweet, intellectual, edging on romantic.
Regarding some community thoughts on LNDG appearing cheap: if you compare LNDG to Black Orchid side to side LNDG is going to come across as cheap and simple. However it’s an unfair comparison: I think you could compare 99% of fragrances, even really good fragrances to TF’s BO and they would across and simple and cheap. TF BO is one of the mainstream gold standards in being extremely complex.
LNDG is really good with excellent longevity and moderate sillage. Wear it under your sweater in the winter.

Another blind buy , don’t even know BO but I really appreciate the quality of this brand and don’t care about reviews saying it’s cheap, I am a happy owner of various beautys from JA and the notes caught me imediatly. Well, here it’s not easy to find so I purchased it from the other side of the country and it will arrive at the end of the month. Not so cheap because the shipping. So let’s wait now, later I come back to review it!

This smells exactly like what it’s supposed to be: a super cheap version of Black Orchid. It’s similar but not nearly as good imo, sorry

I love this!!! It’s most unusual – which is a MAJOR reason I love it!!!I l love the discrepancy between the chocolate and the other notes, and it really works on my skin. I think it’s divine!!!! It’s like a beautiful chocolate flower!!!! The incense is gorgeous, and so is the fruit, but it’s the lily-of-the-valley, gardenia, orchid and the chocolate and tuber combination I love the most. It’s totally thrilling for me!!!! And it’s such a beautifully blended perfume. Very earthy and sensual, dark and womanly, feminine, female. Rich and potent in an exciting way. I imagine the tuber has a lot to do with that. I can’t really describe it but I LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!
It lasts incredibly well – 16 hours easily!!! – and is easily smelt for a few feet, which everyone else loves ‘cos I get compliments all the time – ‘what a gorgeous smell!!! You smell wonderful!!!!’ – ALL the time!!! It’s amazing!!!! I love it, it’s gorgeous!!!
And I absolutely ADORE the bottle and the colour!!!! What a dream that colour is!!!! MAGNIFICENT!!!!! It’s a TOTAL LOVE!!!!

I cannot detect the chocolate note, unless you would describe it as a cocoa note without the sweetness. IT has a bit of a burnt quality…but not in a bad way. I catch the incense, but it is not that heavy. It is a dark fragrance with a slight bit of tuber. This is not a girly perfume. It is enjoyable in it’s own right. It is more mature. I would consider this more of a noir fragrance. Very nice, but I would recommend trying it before you blind buy.

I get a background of oil, or something in the mineral category……like mineral oil *ACK*

  8. :

It is a little bit schizofrenic fragrance. Two faced. I expected chocolate base, dark, fume-like similarity to Black Orchid. But no way!!! There some sligth resemblance, but they are different. While BO is a deep, unique Díva, LNDG is more natural, dewy, hay-like.
LNDG has milk chocolate and something like green vegetation.Like a strange, juicy fruit hidden is cocoa. Some discerpancy, but very good quality. On my skin it is more about deep forest, feeshly cut leaves and not sexy, seductive gourmand.
It is very rare when Choco is combined with greens.
THEMacgirl hit the nail! There is somehing rottening leaves and moss with earthy accords mixed with shiny, sunny, sweet flowery, wet crystal drops of balsamic spring on leaves. And top of all that milk chocolate…..strange.

Not sure what tuber is or how it smells but it may be the note that gets Love Never Dies Gold to work for me. I have at least 5 other chocolate fumes. Alas, I love Pam Anderson’s Malibu Night but too light. Another indication of chemistry being a major player on whether or not a fragrance will wear well on us. Then there is the other end like Rihanna where the cacoa is just OverWhelming. I like Kokorico but gotta be in the mood for fig and heading in that Womanity-type direction of chocolate. so on and so on .. like them all but it’s Love Never Dies Gold that gets Goldilocks closest to ‘just right’. Tuber? Is this what keeps it earthy? Like some dirt with the incense that helps the whole Mexican Chocolate vibe Not go all sickly sweet on me? Longevity is never an issue really, especially at this price point. I like to spray spray spray .. usually looking for a note that I can match with something else and switch perfumes. Here? The chocolate Or incense are great doorways. I just entered from the incense of L’Agent by Agent Provocateur because needed less of that goth delight. Put LNDG in the Win category. I really dig the super chick diamond bottle (the pearl is kitsch so whatever). I even kept the plastic stand and tossed the cover so it can sit upright.

I don’t need to expand on the descriptive reviews here already, I will simply say that at first spray I fell in love with this beautiful unusual scent.
I will also cry as I say that I am so disappointed the longevity and sillage are, on me, very poor. Many sprays only an hour ago and almost nothing now, only a hint in a whiff every now and then and I am pretty sure that is coming from the spray on my clothes. There is nothing left on my wrist at all.
Perhaps I have simply got used to it on myself and others would smell it clearly… But that is not what I want. I bought it for me to smell, and smell, and smell.
    And I almost can’t now.
This is a love story that might have to die, due to not being able to last the distance. Tomorrow I shall try layering it over some unscented moisturiser and see if that helps.

I have been wearing this for 2 days now and am really surprised by it. I blind bought it looking for an alternative to TF Black Orchid. I wanted something dark and mysterious but not quite as earthy and patchouli-laden as BO. Surprisingly, LNDG is a bright fruity-floral on me. I smell orchid, grapefruit and blackberry mostly, with some chocolate sneaking in later on. I sprayed on a lot before work and can barely smell it by mid-morning. I had to ask a co-worker what she thought about it, and she said, oh what a nice little floral! It’s a very unique fruity-floral, and a pleasant and enjoyable every day scent.

  12. :

    4 out of 5

This is my second review, LNDG make sense and reveal of its mystery during colder days mostly from countries that have winter/autumn season. To my surprise, it is a very complex fragrance which i strongly detect a sweeten burnt rubber together with incense match by a certain orchid flower from an exotic rain forest. I can’t comment if this is a exact dupe of TF black orchid but i can see it as a modern rendition of avon imari classic. But don’t misinterpret that this is a cheap smelling as i love imari too. This is very sexy and elegant. But if i used during the hottest days here in the phillipines, its just a typical floral fruity gourmand very much like a bubblegum.

  13. :

Ugh. Sickly sweet, fruity and predictible. Whrere is chocolate? Where is tuber? Where is incense? Where is some kind of mystery?
It has nothing to do with Black Orchid.

very sweet and gourmand chocolaty, nice but kinda boring, there is no edge in it no development, just simple sweet

I also smell strong coco in this one, like only 2 other reviewers. So for me it reminds me of summer days (at sunset!). I prefer this one over the other Jeanne Arthes I bought (LND Black Jewel)

  16. :

Smells like the death and rot of autumn meeting the fresh rebirth of springtime. So hard to describe this special scent, but it’s absolutely irresistible!

  17. :

First time I sprayed this I was horrified,
thought it smelled rotten or maybe petrified
    but I was wrong
    I tried it on
and found this perfume and I can get along
    And so it’s back
    back on my shelf
And I’m so glad to have it here, so I can spray it on myself
And that’s as much of this review as I can do as a parody of I Will Survive, anyway, this weird chocolate orchid mushroom scent is kind of awesome, it’s sweet and wet and earthy and dirty but edible and weird and I love it for that.
Honestly, it’s stranger than black orchid and it has this weird earthy dirty freshness to it, it’s like hot parched earth getting rained on, it’s like filthy sex in the shower, it’s got like hot/wet hothouse and maybe a little bit of rot but only in the most pleasant way scent to it.
I love you, weird chocolate mushroom.

“Earthy” sounded good to me but I got flowers and a sweaty body smell. Not body odor but fresh sweat. Does anybody know what note is doing that to me?

  19. :

    5 out of 5

Well, I learned something. I learned about “tuber”, which I had wrongly associated with (forgive me) tuberose.
And how did I learn? I learned from sniffing LNDG on my wrist. And all around me. Musty, moldy, catch in my chest effect. The “earthy” note… Truffles in rich dirt. And, then a gardenia wallop. Now, gardenia can, depending on chemistry and other notes, smell like rotting hay in a barn. So between those two and the down-sides of incense smoke, I was buried alive in dirt and rotted leaves. Kind of like a compost heap, sorry. Suffice to say this so did not work for me. And extremely masculine IMO. Aggressively assertive. It did NOT like me one bit.
So what brought me to this fragrance TKO? Dreams of the Mexican bitter chocolate accord. Total no-show in LNDG.
Your LNDG experience may be different, but on me this was almost frightening. Fight or flee response. I do NOT correlate the failure of LNDG with the modest price. Jeanne Arthes has many, many WONDERFUL fragrances. And so, I tried Jeanne Arthes Perpetual Pearl. And, I swooned. Found the chocolate, and a whole lot more to love. Nose glued to wrist.
But this review is for LNDG, so if Perpetual Pearl ever makes it to the database, I’ll expound!

Ok, so, I really like. I don’t get this all-day-omg-the-scent-lasts-forever feeling that other reviewers get. I’m bummed by that because I loooove walking into a room and turning everyone’s noses towards me. 😉 Maybe I’m not spraying enough on me? I have no idea.
It’s a nice scent. And for $12, you can’t complain too much. I never smelled the Tom Ford scent everyone is comparing it to, but I imagine I might like that one a little more.
Someone come do surgery on my nose because for the life of me I smell no chocolate in this baby.
The bottle is gorgeous. I’m a sucker for these diamond shaped bottles.
    Overall, I give it a 6/10.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

Note – This is not so much a standalone review for Love Never Dies Gold, but more of a discussion of the fragrance as a possible dupe for Black Orchid by Tom Ford.
The opening of this fragrance is a little brighter and fresher than the Black Orchid. There is a playful, sparkling grapefruit note that adds levity to the floral notes. LNDG’s main similarity to Black Orchid comes at the drydown, which is sweet and vanillic, although it does not have the patchouli and dense truffle notes of Black Orchid. The gardenia and lily of the valley notes in this fragrance are slightly soapy and less narcotic than Black Orchid. In fact, I feel pretty confident that there’s a good amount of laundry detergent musk in LNDG.
Considering that this fragrance is obtainable for literally $15, it is not surprising that it smells kind of inexpensive, especially next to Black Orchid. If this composition was given a Tom Ford makeover, it could be released as “Black Orchid Eau de Toilette” or “Black Orchid l’Eau”, or maybe even “White Orchid”.
I understand why people compare LNDG to Black Orchid, but it is not a perfect dupe. That being said, if you enjoy the style of Black Orchid but want a fragrance that is a little more transparent and wearable for daytime, this is worth checking out. It’s an inexpensive, safe blind buy that you’ll most likely enjoy.

This one, for the end result, deserves 10/10.
Usually, I can define a good scent by the 3 most evident notes. This one is no exception.
A perfect dark blend of dark chocolate, orchid and tuber. YUMMY.
ding ding ding! Wait! I already felt this scent.
Believe me. This scent is almost the same as Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. I said “almost” because saying they are exactly the same is almost a heresy against Black Orchid. But what can I do? The truth hurts!(?)
    This durability?
    This sillage?
    For that price?
    With this gorgeous bottle?
    Come to mamma! (3rd bottle)

I have been wearing this a LOT over the last couple weeks ever since I got it. I love it so much. I am like sweefa in that I can’t really pinpoint what it is I’m smelling, but I want more of it. This is fairly strong, and very long lasting. I can spray it on myself in the morning and when I’m going to sleep still smell it on the backs of my arms. It was only about $3.50 from ljshopping (great tester bottle with cap) and it is worth so much more than that to me. This definitely does not smell cheap, and I am so i love with it!

  25. :

Its nice smoked berries like scent. Perfect for fall. cant smell lily of valley and dont know how tuber smells but berries, chocolate and incense are present. Rich on skin and clothes. Poor lasting power like all perfumes on my skin.

  26. :

Very smooth and slightly sweet milk chocolate well blended with creamy florals and a fruity note that smells like mango to me. It’s a real cuddle scent. Dark and fluffy, sexy and soothing, all at the same time. And that’s what makes it interesting. You can’t really pin down what you smell but you want more of it.

I got this today and I like it a lot. I get the comparison to Black Orchid, and I think it’s the combination of oud, orchid and patchouli, but it’s a lot sweeter than BO, and where BO is a dark fragrance, LNDG is like sunshine.
Where BO is an eratic, unpredictable headcase, LNDG is a consistent, honest and dependable friend. Where BO changes over 24 hours and goes through stages of literally smelling like different perfumes, and actually managing to have a different persona depending on the day, LNDG stays linear and true, and I get a relaxing note of camomile, which I know sounds random, but there you go. I personally couldn’t handle the complexity of BO, but this is much more managable. And I’m going to wear it in summer too, because it smells very fresh and uplifting.

this thing smells scary despite all the wonderful reviews. i bought it after i read all the reviews stating how yummy this little thing is. i got one from fragrancex which i thought was a mistake because it smelled like rotten food. such an aweful stench i really don’t know how else to describe. maybe the one that was sent to me was a bad piece.

Wow this perfume is so so so amazing. At first spray it’s very strong and sweet then after 10 minutes, i can definitely smell chocolate and incense mix very well with orchid. I agree that Love Never Dies Gold is quite similar to Tom Ford Black Orchid, sillage and longevity are also stunning.
P/S: Don’t let the price fool you, just give it a try! A wonderful scent.

whatcan i say? i am deeply impressed by jeanne arthes perfume coz they have the tenacity of expensive perfumes without spending a fortune! i always were this gold almost everyday without feeling guilty that i might empty this more than i expected. it can survive the extreme heat and sweat especially here in the philippines.

A M A Z I N G perfume and so cheap. For ten euro 60 ml eau de parfum, you can pass wearing an expensive perfume which costs more than 50 euro. Its a lovely oriental, sweet, aromatic and slightly spicy. I could categorize in the same group of Euphoria, light Black Orchid, or even Jimmy Choo due to the earthy vibe. It is long lasting and the bottle a real gem. What is more to ask from a perfume ??? I shall consider trying more Jeanne Arthes perfumes, I am sure I shall discover other hidden treasures.

Strange as it might sound, this smells like a mix between Black Orchid and Hypnotic Poison Sensuelle to me. Despite the what the notes might lead you to think, it’s neither heavy nor overly sweet. I really like this one!

This is a sweet little Gem, fruity and warm , bright and dark hand in hand The Blackberrys and grapefruit makes the start of this perfume bright and sweet the tuber tip toping back and fort making its presens known .
It shure is a younger sister of the famous Black Orchid.
But where the B O is dark and sultry sexy this is girly and sensual with a young charm . A day time perfume for shure compared to the B Orchid.
This is creamy chocolaty with just hints of gardenia ( on my skin the gardenia can be a bit to much in Black Orchid sometimes) Orchide ,Incense and lighter chocolat is very much present , but not to much on the dark side . sins the fruityness still lingers and making it brighter and more easy going
The bottle also is a cute little thing . This is very nice and worth having . this also smells much better then many other Low priced perfumes i have tryed .

  35. :

    3 out of 5

It’s a creamy-textured, thick ‘n sweet mix of ORCHID, gardenia, tuber, chocolate, & noticeable incense on my skin. Similar to Black Orchid? Yes, very much so in scent. Nowhere near the monster sillage of a TF, of course.
This is honestly too sweet for me. It’s an interesting contrast of very dark mixed with very heady/sweet/creamy ingredients. Not for everyone but definitely worth a gamble for its price. Smells higher quality than its price tag, unlike (IMHO) black diamond version.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Oh my… Black Orchid is in my top five and now, so is Love Never Dies Gold. They have a similar feel but are different. Love Never Dies Gold opens similar to Black Orchid with the truffle, chocolate and lily of the valley but fruitier with the grapefruit prominent in a pleasant way. As it dries down, it loses the grapefruit, gets softer and becomes more floral. Absolutely lovely! Very feminine. I think I may like this even better than Black Orchid. It’s definitely better suited for day time. The bottle is gorgeous. Love!

At last! I’ve got my first bottle of JA perfumes – thanks to a swap – and I love it. Love Never Dies Gold is one of those love it or hate it numbers, I think. To me it has a herbal, medicinal vibe – making it unisex – but cozy and warm at the same time. It is quite linear but nevertheless an intriguing scent. The herbs stay from start to finish, so you have to like that in a scent to appreciate this one. If you are into sweet, girly or fresh, clean scents don’t waste your money on this. If you are not shy to try something different, yet warm and enveloping, go for it.

I have been reading reviews from others on Fragrantica about Jeanne Arthes scents. So many people saying don’t be afraid of the low prices of Jeanne Arthes perfumes, they are quality scents. So I took the plunge with Love Never Dies Gold. Only $14 on ebay. Oh, my Lord! It’s wonderful! Such complexity and richness, what I would expect from a much more expensive French fragrance. I certainly will be trying more Jeanne Arthes fragrances in the future!

  40. :

What an interesting perfume. Love Never Dies Gold leads with grapefruit which lingers a long time on my skin. The grapefruit blends with bitter chocolate notes and it is softened by the florals – but I would have liked more. So far I am undecided about this one. LNDG is probably better suited to our colder months and so I will give it another try then.
I have been keen to try the Jeanne Arthes line and bought this blind as they’re hard to find close to home. I’m still keeping my eyes peeled for the LND Black Jewel though.

One of the best in the Arthes line, wonderful gourmand with amazing depth, waw. I am a black orchid tom ford lover and could not resist to buy this gold love version based upon multiple reviews it ressembles to black orchid. I did the test : left wrist black orchid and on the right this one. The opening is different : wheras black orchid opens with an incredible blast of spicyness, gold is more a softer whispering of same kind but then both perfumes evolve in same manner : into a very sexy and high quality gourmand which lasts forever.
Not completle the same but a very nice family member at fraction of the price. Black orchid is pure indulgence if you are in the mood of pure luxury and gold is more the nice daily pleasure you can rely on 🙂

This has slightly chpyre opening to me, probably because of the grapefruit.. I usally avoid chypre and grapefruit but this one I actually like and will occasionally wear, probably not enough to finish my bottle thou. I agree it could easily be unisex.
It is a warm, slight sweet, earthy (almost dark) floral on me. The florals are well blended with none standing out individually. I love the incense in the background. The grapefruit fade after the first half hour as the scent becomes more warm and sweet without ever becoming a “sweet” perfume to me. I dont get the chocolate or berry though.
Sillage starts huge then goes to arms length, to 6″ many hours later. This lasted over 6 hrs which was great on me. Stronger throw & better length than the other Jeanne Arthes I have.

Very courios about this one, but…..eehh, the bottle is a total copy of Chopard Brilliant Wish….just wanted to tell, not judging the juice here…( everybody seems to want diamond shaped bottles nowdays, ex Katy Perrys new one and Dita vonteese)

    4 out of 5

Oh man. I just got this in the mail a couple of days ago and I have just a few things to say about it.
First of all, lasting power is no joke. You could probably spray this on Sunday and not need to reapply until Tuesday. It’s actually a bit ridiculous.
Second, this is quite nice, but not super gourmand in my opinion. Sort of reminds me of Trussardi Python in that way, where I ask myself, but WHERE is the chocolate that is supposedly in here? I got a much more floral character. Much more floral. It is sweet, yes. But not really gourmand sweet. Cozy enough, clean, a little discreet but not what I was expecting. It just smells like perfume. It’s not really distinctive.
Third, some people love this bottle, which is purely a matter of taste. I would say that I do NOT love the bottle. I don’t like dangling things on my bottles, bottles that look like space weapons or sex toys from space. LNDG encompasses all three of my least favorite bottle genres. It has a dangling thing that I can’t discreetly remove. Ugh. Also unfortunately, unlike Eclix’s deceptive vagina-dentata disaster of a bottle, this perfume isn’t an exquisite example of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The juice just barely makes up for it. It’s not hideous. I don’t regret spending $12 on it. But if I had spent more than $12, I’d be unhappy. It is not knocking my socks off.
That being said, I’ll keep wearing this for a couple more weeks and see if something clicks.
OFFICIAL UPDATE: I smelled Black Orchid again finally after owning this and they ARE kissing cousins. Very, very close. It is lighter and I think I enjoy it a little more. Very strange and obvious that someone keeps voting it down.
Not for this reason, I feel like I need to update my review. I don’t actually care about Black Orchid. But I finally “get” this fragrance. I was actually boxing it up this weekend to sell or swap or give away and I took the cap off and gave it a sniff and it was like everything had finally aligned. I understand why people love this now. It’s pretty good. It’s just not my usual style so it took me a while to really feel it out. I did not like this at first, but it is actually QUITE lovely. I’m still not totally sure I will keep it, as I have a girlfriend who may enjoy it even more than I do, but I finally “get” it and yes, for the price the quality of this perfume is superb. It just took me about 3 months to feel that way.

OH yea now this is what I am talking about. I struggle with the decision of what type of notes are for me. This one is magnificent on me. I am having a hard time describing it as 4 fumes arrived today and my bedroom smells like a brothel. Anyhow it’s simply gorgeous, feminine and very very sexy. I’ll come back later when my nose has calmed down but right off the bat it was an instant love affair!!!
Ok folks I am back. This one is in the top 5 of my favorites as it really smells gorgeous. Non masculine, no florals just an all around gorgeous scent that is completely non offensive. 4-5 sprays would not suffocate those around you. It’s beautiful and really sticks to the skin nicely. This just has massive lasting power. I find that many in this line are very well made and just last and last!!!

I adore this!! This is a beautiful, smooth but spicy coco with light fruit that stays with you for hours but is not overwhelming. I love the big hitters ( Mugler, Chanel, etc ) but this is a scent that gives them a run for the money ! Let’s be honest, not everyone can afford ALL the perfume we want! This smells different (in a good way) then anything I have. I will be checking out the Jeanne Arthes house more closely!
Edit: I find the dry down in Angel and this are similar. This is great if you want to avoid Angel s loud opening. Love Never Dies Gold won’t hang around as long as Angel but it will give you a good 5 to 6 hours of beautiful.
Edit: I think the right kind of man could rock this too.

I decided to venture into the world of Jeanne Arthes with this little beauty. The reviews left me a bit perplexed, but I had to try it and different it is. Is it sweet or earthy or fruity or chocolate or floral or spicey or what? Like some eccentric person you surely have known, it has many facets and surprises on a frequent basis with unique juxtapositions. A good fall day-time scent, it reminds me a bit of the perfumes I have been trying from Alkemia, but none in particular. Just along that genre. My only complaint is that it could be longer-lasting, but at this price, you can afford to re-apply. Recommended for lovers of funky head-shop type oils.8/10

Hmmm… what to say about this one – i’m really on the fence about it actually.
I was drawn in by the name Love Never Dies and by the “gem” like bottle. The notes are all up my alley because i am very much a gourmand, and sweet, fruity, smoky chocolate sounds divine! =)
But… i did get a chance to try it out and… ummmm… i wasn’t blown away. =( It’s really not that it doesn’t smell good… it’s just that i had a very hard time smelling it on my skin. I love strong scents that leave a good trail behind and this one in particular just got absorbed somehow and i kept having to bury my nose into my skin to smell it. Grrrrr… why didn’t they make this one a sweet bomb?! Uffy =(
I probably will get it in the end because it’s a steal really, the bottle is soooooo cute and i am madly in love with my hubby – yay =) So i’ll probably end up pouring it on myself and hopefully i will catch a whiff! LOL =)

Chocolate, incense and a slight tartness of blackberries. It’s a little different, very well priced and doesn’t smell cheap at all.
The longer I have this the more I reach for it. It’s gone from a fortunate blind buy to a real favorite.
If you liked the idea of Black Orchid but were put off by the spice or found it too “dirty”, this is a good alternative.

OMG!; I love this frag. I bought it online and fell in love. It’s smoky, dark, sweet…just lovely. Very wearable & unique; I can’t believe the price…soooo afordable & bottle is very cute too. This one is an example that you don’t have to spend a fortune to smell good & different. 😀

If a person can have a crush in a perfume, then this is it, I am in love. It was blind purchase, I liked the bottle and description of fragrance, price was low so I tought it is worth to take a risk…. and it is awesome! It has ben more than 12 hours now and I can still smell it, it is kinda misterious, lightly sweetish, warm and dark (on good way), for colder months and for afternoons and evenings. I am oredering second one right away because you never know when they might get out of stock 🙂

From your reviews, I was hoping Love Never Dies Gold would be soft, sweet, very feminine, spicy, cocoa flavor.
BUT unfortunately, on me, this particular grapefruit note remains very sharp, green as if not yet ripe, quite bitter, and very strong throughout the drydown.
Not a bad fragrance and it lasts for at least 8 hours. Just doesn’t work on my skin.
There are some tasty notes in this one and I love the warm spicy tones.
Since it’s not too sweet, this could easily be a unisex fragrance.
UPDATE : When I spray a sweet vanilla scen
