Description

Armani launches new perfumes of the Privé collection in November 2010. The collection is named “La Collection des Mille et une Nuits,” inspired by the medieval Arabic tales from 1001 nights. These three new heute couture perfumes depict the exotic mystery of the Orient with its warm, spicy and woody notes on the subject of rose, oud and amber.

Armani Privé La Collection des Mille et une Nuits icludes three perfumes: Oud Royal, Ambre Orient and Rose d’Arabie. The fragrances are exclusively designed for the Middle East market and are made as imitations of their traditional perfumery and local ingredients.

Oud Royal is a deep, warm and spicy elixir of agar wood, which is very popular in the Arab region. Agar is enriched with spicy notes of saffron, amber, rose, sandalwood and incense.

It is packed in a black glass bottle decorated with a golden stopper. The nose behind this fragrance is Evelyne Boulanger.

This is definitely not a casual scent, it’s what I will wear to an academy award event or a black tie gala.
Again, rules are meant to be broken, I’m rocking this one casually and hope for the best. This is the fragrance I got the best and worst reactions from on the same day. It’s a surprise to people smelling oud for the first time and a delight to connoisseurs. This is one to sample first before any attempt to buy.
For me, it’s a top shelf fragrance that I pull out when I want to feel like the king that I am…lol…Oud like no other, light enough for nubie yet complex for an expert.
Mainly Saffron and Oud, garnished with some Sandalwood, Rose, and “itty-bitty” Amber notes. Wonder in a bottle.

I’m in between on this one.
Nice smell with a very good performance but is it really worth the price?
This is almost a dupe of Asghar Ali’ Oud (the golden bottle spray EDP) but with an intensive sandalwood note that, for me, slightly ruins the scent’s opening.
I was not very impressed initially, but as it dried down it became much better. The sandalwood took a back seat to the incense & saffron, giving a rich smokey oud scent & improving it drastically.
However, given the steep price & with the presence of very similar scents that might be better scent & performance wise for fraction the price, why should one go for this?
If you’re looking for an oud like this, go for Asghar Ali’s that has a more prominent oud note with about equal performance for, literally, 15% the price of Oud Royal.

I’m not a fan of Oud but this one is a really good one. The oud-saffron blend is pure class.
Not a cheap perfume but worth the price.

Chic and strong, beautiful and sexy on a man, powerful and mysterious on a women.

    Well blended soft oud.
    Slightly powdery and sweet.
    Projection and sillage is average.
Can be good entry to the oud scents but the price tag is astronomic.

Mystical and precious classy unique fragrance with characteristic of woody note, with leathery, smoky and animal accents. This smells like getting in a brand new Bentley or Mercedes Benz. The smell of the leather of a brand new car. The Oud is tamed very well in here and is definitely westernized, even though Armani says it is capturing the spirit of Eastern alchemy by elevating oud wood, but I see it more of a westernized tamed oud + saffron type of a fragrance. It is a gorgeous fragrance for the right event.

    Whoa.
I have a little 1.5ml spray tester of the EDP Intense. I can’t afford this stuff any other way.
It’s way too potent to spray on. WAY too potent. When I wear this I barely nudge the sprayer until the tiniest drop of moisture appears, apply to my wrists then rub my wrists on my neck. That’s enough for probably 6 hours with a few feet of sillage.
It’s so dry. I see there’s rose in the pyramid but I don’t get any, it’s all bone dry woods and incense. There’s a sharpness for the first few hours that can get a little overwhelming if too much is applied.
My only issue with Oud Royal is that I rarely have a situation that calls for it. It’s anything but casual. It demands at the very least a fresh haircut, a necktie and shined shoes, not to mention a crowd and/or occasion befitting such a regal aroma. In everyday casual attire, Oud Royal wears you.
But when it’s fancy times and I’m dressed to the nines, Oud Royal is the perfect cherry on top. I’m not worthy.
    :::EDIT:::
So I was idly sniffing my Oud Royal sprayer one day while wearing my old standby vintage Tabac EDC and got a tiny bit of OR on myself (which is all it takes). My wife FREAKED OUT in the very best way, “whoa, what are you wearing?!”. She loved it. So I took a 1/2 dram glass vial, put in 4 full sprays of OR and topped it off with Tabac EDC, then let it sit for a few days.
I think I just made the best smelling accidental low-rent frag hack of all time. Good God… The smoky floral softness of Tabac is transformed into a pillow atop which the Oud Royal stretches out and starts giving orders. The dry sharpness of the OR predominates the overall scent even in the tiny concentration I used, but it doesn’t have anywhere near the “spikiness” that OR on its own can display in the first few hours. It both tamed Oud Royal and gave Tabac a shot of class and almost aggression. It’s no longer soft and comforting, it’s large and in charge.
I guess I am worthy, then. “Tabac Oud” goes so perfect with my vintage brown leather jacket and Lucchese boots I feel like I’m a walking, talking 70’s Scotch ad.

This smells like most western ouds on the market now. It is nice but not SHAZAM in the top or middle. It is soft with sandalwood, hint of saffron. Little tiny tartness in the drydown that nods to the animalic in the middle notes. It’s soft and gentle like a wave of wood that dries as it cures. In the base, the soft, powdery amber takes over to remind me of Jul et Mad Amour de Palazzo.

Bottle from December 2016, purchased from a very reputable store here in the UK.
Such a disappointment. I had sampled this several times, loved it and finally decided to take the plunge. Scent-wise, it is in my top 5. Performance, out of the 29 scents I currently own… I’d rank it 29th.
Skin scent within an hour, gone within two. The wife, who can detect when I spray from the next room, couldn’t detect after half an hour.
Very disappointing for the price. If you are after this go for an older bottle if you can, perhaps you might get better performance levels than I got!

I have never been for oud thing for its harsh, suffocation and somehow under tone of feces like smell. But But But…what happened when I got the whiff of OR. Totally changed my mind about oud fragrance. Surely the oud in OR is like tipple distilled Vodka which is complemented by sandalwood and saffron to an extent of supper luxury level which is hard to believe the juice is man made. Although longevity and sillage are in moderate range vs price tag, even then the fragrance is still quit winning and deserves to be available all the time in my wardrobe. It is lovely and noble perfume which just suits the mature and responsible personalities of above 45…..

I first smelled this fragrance back in 2013 and wanted to buy full bottle however I went to Armani Boutique in Dubai and bought Cuir noir 🙂 Ultimately i bought this fragrance as its one of easier oud based fragrance to pull off . Some say there is hardly any oud in it which is not quite true !
This is quite simple well blended fragrance and I smell Sandalwood, Oud and Incense with touch of sweetness which may be combination of amber and Sandalwood i think . None of these notes are over powering each other which means blend is very good and projection is subtle . This is just like most armani prive fragrance which are very classy and upscale and i think can be worn to office also provided your personalty matches it.
Price of this fragrance is quite high however it available at lot of discounted sites so if you looking for oreintal fragrance but dont have a palette for skanky oud then this might be good entry point and this can be signature worthy fragrance also .8.5/10

Not very oudy. Sandalwood in the backbone & the foreground here. The oud is in the back along with the other notes.
I like it but it’s not, in my opinion, worth shelling the asking price just because it is “Privé”.

  16. :

    4 out of 5

I like this, but the “oud” fades fairly quickly. What’s left is incense with a hint of saffron. If it were priced like others in the regular Armani line, it would be full bottle worthy, although I would not put it in the oud section of my collection.

  17. :

Gorgeous. Woody oud with hints of smoke spice and sweetness from the amber. I can barely smell the rose which in my books is a good thing.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

I never smelled oud, so I don’t know whether this smells like oud or not. What I smell is a woody, rosy perfume, drying down (rather quickly) to woody, smokey saffron. There is no leather in my perception. It’s refined and elegant.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

A straightforward insence and oud scent, well, quite oriental but not sophisticated at all.
I prefer amouage jubilation over this if considering oriental

  20. :

    4 out of 5

    These reviews are confusing.
I first tested this back in early 2013 and I remember the oud note being more prominent. I have a 2015 bottle and it smells more like sweet saffron water. Feels very watered down and weak.
On first application there is a light oud accompanied with a lot of alcohol. The oud fades super quick (under 20 mins) and makes way for a slightly smoky and sweet saffron. As it drydowns, it becomes creamier, similar to the creaminess of Bois d’Encens. Sometimes I also get a burnt resin accord like that from Myrrhe Impériale.
At retail it extremely over priced, even at half price would consider it expensive. Projection/sillage is very low, its very reserved.

  21. :

This is definitely a high class scent.
The base notes are all detectable and intertwined and delicious. especially the both gender’s variant..Very interesting…I love it!

Tried this today (about 5 hours ago). For the first hour it was a strong incense and wood bomb. Then it mellowed to a sweet and smokey sandalwood and something dusty and earthy. Gorgeous! I just had a shower and it is still going strong. The temperature is over 35 Celsius and even though I walked in the hot streets it remained sweet and spicy. Not a feminine scent but nevertheless beautiful if you can pull it off. I am not all bows and ribbons, more like Lara Croft or Xena, the warrior princess so it suits me and loves my chemistry. The price is the major drawback.
Edited to add: 8 hours later and it is still very noticeable.

    UPDATE:
I bought this yesterday and am not disappointed. Such a high quality, smooth, sublime oud! Strong and intensive, but not crude. At least not to me… this beautiful fragrance is unfortunately not popular where I live. My dad thinks it smells like cat pee (or human urine) and my mum gets a tightness in her chest and asthma. My brother and sister simply hate this perfume. I feel like I live in the wrong country to appreciate Oud scents. Even though there is a large Arab population in Sydney, Australia, the majority of white aussies would probably find this offensive… wearing it on public transport at peak hour is like farting in public… it’s antisocial. I don’t work, because I’m a student at uni, but it’s the same story there. The only exception is my Arabic language class… my teacher is from Iraq and some students come from Egypt, Syria and Afghanistan… it would make an interesting talking point. The only problem is my class lasts 1 hour, and this scent lasts 12!
    UPDATE 2:
My Arabic teacher (male) did not give a mind-blowing reaction. He first asked me how much I paid, then said Oud is very expensive. Without even asking he sprayed it on his wrist, but then sniffed it and remarked that it smelled good.
My private Arabic tutor (also male) is from Lebanon. He did not comment about it, but when asked, he also said it smelled good. According to him, Lebanese aren’t as mad-keen about fragrances as other Middle Eastern countries, such as those in the Gulf.

This was my first Armani Prive purchase and I have to say that I am quite in love. The Oud is lovely on my skin. This fragrance was my introduction to the Armani private collection fragrances. I would describe the fragrance as intense but sensual. Again this is based on my own body chemistry. Definitely a 9/10.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

So I just got a sample pack of 5 Armani Prive line off the bay and this is one of them.
I get leather. To me, of course this is a first impression, but I get cuir ottoman by parfum d empire. Little bit of oud in the back to keep soft and sweet. It’s smoothe, but not for me. All of these frags smell extremely well blended and of upmost high quality. There are two that have me on the maybe list, but this isn’t one. Not the type of leather I enjoy. I enjoy the more leather wallet or leather jacket type of leather.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

Armani Prive’s Oud Royal is another strong entry that’s mainly ideal for colder weather, much like Rose d’Arabie.
Of the listed notes, I get mainly oud with a hint of rose, and perhaps some saffron and amber. Although it’s not a listed note, I get a strong leather vibe together with the oud, and while both the oud and leather have their dirty sides, they’re not so dirty here as to limit the sophistication of the fragrance.
As others point out, it’s strong and rich but not overwhelming to the point of being off-putting. The possibility of this working for women seems remote to me, as this definitely strikes me as an implicitly masculine fragrance.
Performance is very good for an EDP in terms of both projection and longevity. Retailing at $290 for 100ml but almost 40% at Beautyspin, this could prove a winter signature scent that’s relatively restrained and agreeable, and that’s rendered somewhat affordable as opposed to the difficult retail entry price of the line.

This is my ultimate oud fragrance. It is a strong and rich oud, that is intensely pleasant and not too overwhelming. But before splashing out on a bottle of this liquid gold, I decided to do a full day test. Came home, and I couldn’t stop laughing because my dad fanned his face, and said there was the smell of cat pee in the air, really, really strong. He blamed one of my cats (who has bad litter tray habits) for doing it over the side and walking in it. But I guessed it was probably my perfume, because it does have a sharp, astringent quality when you smell it from far away. After killing myself laughing I finally asked whether it was coming from my wrists. He smelled them, and agreed. I guess that is a noooooo…

  28. :

    4 out of 5

I hope they never discontinue this since it is unique in the market place. The closest to the actual scent of real Cambodian oud burning. It is extremely classy and totally unisex. Expensive? Yes, but you get quality in return. Very nice…

  29. :

    3 out of 5

This used to be my unparalleled favorite from the line; it’s a well blended dry incense oud with sweet ambered sandalwood, much more sophisticated & sexy (not the dirty kind like Dior’s Leather Oud) than the ultra-popular Oud Wood by Tom Ford, but it does have a sharp synthetic feel and a “forced” creamy undertone sometimes..
My new favorite is Encens Satin, which is a very comfortable scent without being boring 🙂

    Straightforward men’s cologne.
This review is for its’ “claim” to
    unisex. F-. NOT appropriate for
    women at all whatsoever, unless
the ones who want to smell like
a man, and I’m not one. Peace
    Other then that, smells absolutely
    Enchanting. Just divine beyond
reason. I’m thankful this got mis-
    catagorized as ‘unisex’ otherwise
I’d have never given it a chance.
Only drawback is I can only wear
this during times of isolation like
in a car by myself or at home or
    something like that. Absolutely
out of place out when worn by a
chic. Ah well so D not F …Peace…

I’ve sampled a limited number of oud fragrances; however, this one is my favorite so far. Some ouds have such intense sillage that they make me naseous. Armani Prive Oud does no such thing, rather, I can wear it all day long and continue to love it. The incense and sandaldwood notes within this fragrance titrate the oft too-strong oud/agarwood and create a nice, balanced fragrance that can be enjoyed by many. I’d definitely recommend if you are a fan of oud/agarwood or are on the fence about that particular note.

  35. :

I just sampled this. Unmistakably an oudh scent, rather potent, but there’s a strong alcohol accompaniment. It abates some into the dry down, but not fully. Overall, a disappointment for the price point.

    Overall: 9/10
Simple. Straight Forward. Not so ‘Oud’ fragrance, but still, a wrothy player in my book.
Very Light and subtle oud gives way to the more powerful and warm undercurrents of amber, incense and sandalwood.
Warm and playful, but sits close enough to the skin to truly enjoy and become a personal favorite of mine.
I must admit I am tiring of the Rose/Oud combo’s out there, but the ‘oud’ is so undetectable at this point that I don’t really care when it comes to this particular juice.
Wonderfully unisex, plays very well with others!
Love this with a spritz of Comme Des Garcons Incense Series 3 Avignon on top, it really sends this wonderful fragrance over the top.
Light enough to wear to work, day or night use.

This is the one. The dry, deep incense like smell that you could imagine being in ancient temples of learning and mysticism. This was the first bottle of oud perfume I purchased after falling head over heels for the note. The smell is like the bottle…black and gold…the smell of another time and place. In other words it transports you. I don’t really know how to describe it. This is what Indiana Jones might smell like creeping around in lost tombs, perhaps, but also just as at home exuding from the collar of a 5000$ suit jacket. Oud wrapped in swirling incense spiced and tangled around saffron. The rose is very mute. A superior class act in my humble opinion and always gets the noses turning up as you walk past. The oud is sweet, not skanky and the sandalwood is amazing.

I have a tiny vial of this. Finally I know how oud smells like, and I would say it is a very aromatic, incense-like smell reminiscent of the middle east. I’m in love with this perfume but the price astounds me! it is more expensive than Annick Goutal perfumes. I thought it wouldn’t be this expensive because Giorgio Armani seems to be a designer brand. This perfume smells niche, however.

I received this as a gift .. I don’t like oud fragrances but all my friends and family members love it and they say it smells luxurious . it’s very heavy and I think it should be used for special occasions..
I don’t think oud scent is good for young people or people who prefer fresh light scents .. but if you are 30+ years old and like heavy oriental perfumes this might be good for you .

  45. :

a balsamic, woody, smoky, dry fragrance
this is one of the best western oud fragrances. however, it smells very middle-eastern. the oud is not medicinal. one might describe it as rubbery. it has just the right amount of amber and saffron to give it a bit of sweetness and spiciness. the incense is predominant but not overbearing. the sandalwood is dry and smoky but not creamy. the fragrance feels almost powdery in the drydown. projection and longevity are average.
    8.4/10

  46. :

    5 out of 5

This starts off with a predominant sandalwood note on my skin and I love sandalwood so that is a great thing. Then it settles down into more of a spicy classic oud that smells very nice but leans far too masculine for me to comfortably wear myself. Rose d’Arabie is more my speed.
Oud Royal has a bit of that medicinal gasoline oud thing going on in the beginning but it settles down. I am not getting the beast mode longevity as others, after about an hour it is fairly timid on me. Unless it is so strong I am going hyposmic a bit. I am a victim of that little problem.
I wouldn’t mind at all smelling this on a man. But for myself, I would feel a bit uncomfortable because it seems a bit masculine for my personal tastes.

This concoction is truly magnificent but…
(blame my skin or complexion) after this dry, strong and beautiful opening… couple hours later, an unpleasant smell emerge and makes this journey more like a chemical experience gone wrong. Once again, the « potion-makers » are not to blame… simply not compatible. Similar experience as mentioned by @APHEXACID.
Even though I was captivated by it and would have love to wear it… I have to pass.
For me, the great qualities of OUD ROYAL is the deepness and dryness of it all. Rarely have I experienced something like this.
Before buying, ask for sample and take time to see how it works for you.
For those who can wear it… enjoy for those who can’t, but would have loved to!!!
Different but in the same area… I have purchased DAMASK OUD from Hugo Boss The Collection and it is quite a surprise. A beautiful mixture with similar ingredients. Much simpler, the opening is basically what you’ll get the whole time. Longevity & sillage are impressive.

This juice definitely has leather in the start but a very elegant transmission of it : I get jubilation XXV meets LADDM and WonderWood but far more refined and Boy this Stuff has the Arabian Middle Eastern vibe in it’s infrastructure and it delivers The Arabian Peninsula In a bottle…The incense is similar to jubilation’s XXV but with sandalwood and Oud wrap around it like a fine silk robe covering it and the woodiness DNA of CDG WonderWood and envelope in hyped up spices From a Bazaar in Saudi Arabia with a mix of cedar and woodnotes that to a limit resembles LADDM , this is felt through out its beautiful life and it resonates like an Echo in the Grand Canyon ….can and only say Armani Nail the AraBic Vibe in this one and I do have ties to the Middle East btw especially Yisrael…..unfortunately on me it gets four hours of heavy duty projection and thereafter it becomes a low projecting scent that descents to a very close knit factor till the 14-16 hr but nevertheless it gets the job done as I only need 6-8 hrs as the scent bubble is withheld to its entirety and progressively becoming lesser as fore mentioned but initial burst of takeoff is where is at and just wish it stood there for its entirety….5 out 5 star from me on this Gorgeous Scent…..Peace and GodBless

I have just purchased this perfume and God I love it!!
First of all, the perfume is very dry. What you smell is sandalwood and oud boom the rest is a great melange.
First spray I got sandalwood all around me and after 5 seconds there was this beautiful smokey oud with incense. Actually incense is not at all dominant! Of course it is a smoky fragrance but not something like cdg2 man or Sahara noir. Anyways I love the fact that there’s no rose well nearly not inside. Whoever invented that gross rose oud combo should kill himself 🙂 rose kills everything in woody fragrances IMO. I don’t find the bottle cheap at all. Of course it has a plastic cap but come on. Why would I pay extra for a metal cap. It’s good it is plastic. I think vaporisateur is very good. Not cheap as someone else mentioned below. So that’s it. Buy it if you like some Arabian good perfumery. I would never ever buy this fragrance if I was a girl. It is smelling gentleman. Well a wealthy sexy gentleman lets say. I don’t know if it is because of the money I spent on it, but this smells high quality. Really.. On these days where every girl and boy are using black orchid Asa. Signature scent. I am f**ing going for this to be my signature

I’ve been sniffing and trying on the Armani Oud Royal in the perfume store for a while now because it’s a very interesting scent. It has that arabic vibe to it which is different from anything else I’ve smelled, but IMO it’s more male appropriate, hence I would not buy it for myself. But I do know that this is good for layering with other scents (especially from the PRIVE collection), because it just adds something different. I find this delicious in combination with other fragrances, but not by itself.

Oud is something I always try to just Pass, the reason is its popularity here since yeares before the emergence of M7,
The main reason i found to avoid OUD perfumes is the package deal of ROSE with it , i just cant stand the sharpness of ROSE and Oud combo.
Armani OUD Royal keeps Rose very silent thankfully and this is why I like this oud scent but the dry down is not as i expected , its some kinda unfinished to me or i expected more smooth and rounded drydown the sandalwood is too loud here, but overall its its a very good offer for oud lovers.

What I absolutely love in Oud Royal is that it’s not sweet at all, so different than the other perfumes containing oud.
It’s a dry, dark, woody (oud), smoky fragrance. It actually fits to my imaginations of a perfect woody scent. It was definitely love at first sniff, I guess this one was the first from the Armani Prive line that I sniffed. To simplify what it is I could say that it’s oud and incense. But I won’t do that. Why? Because it’s much more complex, can’t really explain it, but it is.
Saffron spices it a little bit, on the flipside – sandalwood and amber make it a little softer. I don’t get the clear rose note on my skin though…
It lasts easily 15 hours on me, sometimes more. Like others from the Prive line, it projects like mad, so two sprays are OK.

This is a re-review due to my silly nose and it’s habit of making hasty decisions on my behalf.
Having subsequently tried MFK OUD and Armani Royal Oud against each other in a more comparative and comprehensive trial. I must confess they are not that alike really.
I’d sniffed out many Oud fragrances that day and this just chimed with me as being like MFK…without knowing what was in it.
When I raced back to check the notes after the first time I tried them, I felt vindicated and quite pleased with my olfactory skills as I’d identified a similarity that I put down to them both containing saffron.
This one is much smokier and more middle eastern than the MFK for a start and the saffron is far less prominent. All of these are characteristics that I love in perfume so I actually really like this one judged on it’s own merits.
If you’re a fan of the smokey incense type fragrance then this is not a bad choice I’d say.
update: The more I wear Oud Royal the more convinced I am of it’s genius and the more my faith is instilled in the Privé line as a whole. Sublime stuff this was always a favourite but with such a choice of ouds out there why choose this one? Well because it’s majestic a stunningly well put together fragrance!

I am a sad little fragrance fan right now…I tried this (there were so many great reviews) and was so excited to experience it……and I am very sorry to say that on me, this fragrance smells like burning tires. I am not exaggerating. I wore it all day, hoping it would transform into something other than “burning tires” but it did not. After about 4 hours, it just smelled sour, and I actually developed a little headache, which is something that has never happened before for me. For those of you who can wear this, I salute you. (sad face)

I was just reminded by a fellow member that my review did not match the status this perfume has in my wardrobe.
This is because after some time, the cheese smell stopped coming around! I can’t say if it was just my nose at the time, or the perfume itself has settled, but it’s a beautiful perfume that I will do a revised review on soon.
My feelings in the presentation have not changed, so here is what I think.
One huge disappointment was the presentation. The box is very thin cardboard. Very minimal pattern printed on it. Gold Armani Prive sticker on the front of it.
The Bottle is paint sold black. You need a high power flashlight to barely see the liquid. Cheap plastic armani sticker on the front. That beautiful cap you see in the pictures is not metal like youre probably thinking. Its plastic.
Lastly, in the box you will find a small cloth. I have no idea what its for. But they didn’t even bother stamping the Armani logo on it.
    The sprayer is below average.
Please SAMPLE THIS first! DO NOT BLIND BUY!

As I said with FK Oud the other notes really complement and make it shine…The same is true of this wonderful Oud scent.
    Simply great stuff from Armani.

For me, its is the best OUD Fragrance you can have I tried so many other but all of them I found a strange smell on it after a while except Armani Priv Oud Royal,

Anyone interested in a swap let me know. This stuff is just too strong and heavy for me. Bootle is full, only I spray out of it and still have box. Pm me if interested. I live in US.

Oh my, I was just online looking at Nieman Marcus and they are now selling this! Just ordered, on back order for a few weeks but can’t wait to try this.
Edit. Very linear scent and ALL oud! A very strong oud at that. Doesn’t compare much to any other scent I can think of, it does stand on its own. Again though, I’m not really picking up any other notes here. I like it but its very strong and heavy. Might try and experiment with mixing with a lighter scent, maybe M7, to lighten it up a bit.

I smell class and wealth in this. In cooler weather it is gorgeous.
