A more grown up version of CK One. But the same summer freedom and sexiness I found in one when it came out. I bought this one the summer of 2012 and I do think is a spring-summer warm weather only fragrance, it’s freshness, fruity flowery tropical beach feeling is awesome even here in north Europe. Looking forward to get my hands on one of this again before may!

i disagree with people saying this is a citrus fresh fragrance. There is nothing fresh about this one, IMO. The main note, in my skin, is bitter orange, followed by a mix of citrus and warm sweet flowers, but not in a creamy way since the woodsy notes keeps it kinda dry.
Not for summer days, maybe summer sultry nights, as i find it being sexy. I can’t actually see myself wearing this anywhere, since i think i doesn’t suit anywhere. I mean, is a good smelling scent in my opinion, but is not that fragrance you can see wearing at the beach, or at a party, or at a fun night out with your friends, you know? There are some fragrances that suits well determined places or events (or all of them), and this one doesn’t “tell” me anything.
Is just nice. Nothing else.
A huge let down for someone who really likes the original Armani Code EDP.

This one is very fresh and crisp. Citrusy and airy at opening, not sweet at all. Reminds me of Carolina Herrera’s 212 On Ice a lot. For some reason I’ve always associated such scents with winter and I can’t imagine wearing this fragrance in the summer, regardless of the fragrance’s sub-name. Nothing special though, wouldn’t buy again.

While the scent is lovely for the summer, as others have stated, it doesn’t last more than a few minutes. It’s a total waste of money and a huge disappointment.

Nur Sommer Duft, sehr zitronig. Hat mit original nichts zutun. Für den Sommer ganz o.k

To me, this smells a tad masculine…and once again, does not last.

Oh my, this is almost an disappointment. It’s definitely fresh and citrusy and perfect for the heat, but the quality is so poor! Summer version does not mean that you can just water down your fragrance and sell it as eau fraiche, mind you.
First, very citrusy. Bitter orange really is bitter! Then the fragrance begins it journey into flowery-citrusy goodness, little by little. Drydown is the best part of the fragrance!
But why, oh WHY does this last like only an hour? And why does it have to be so subtle? Really. Not even highest temperatures are an excuse to make this so poorly. Shame on you Armani, shame on you.

This fragrance is very light and aquatic, fresh and not too sweet. It doesn’t last long and disappears within 2+ hours. The scent stays close to the skin, so people would not be able to smell it unless they were extremely close.

very weak & aquatic ,, I felt that they watered down the interesting notes ,, it become so normal here ,, nothing sexy or magical ,, week lasting power & sillage too ..

This is a light, refreshing fruity and crisp cardamom scent. Opens up with a fresh citrus scent with hints of pears transformed into notes of cardamom, ginger and a hint of cinnamon. I can feel citrus and pear notes throughout the day mixed with the spicy notes. A light, fresh, crisp scent. The smell will disappear fairly quickly, about 2 hours but remains on your clothes all day. When I use it I get lots of compliments. I definitely think this is worth having, but if I had to choose between Armani Code Summer and Armani Code for Women, I would choose the latter. It’s more powerful, more fruity, but not as crispy as Armani Code Summer, plus it lasts all day.

I wish they would stop making mediocre and more watery versions of the original perfume and bring back the elixir… the only version that really was worth having.

edit: oops it’s 75ml! sorry!

Not a bad summer scent if you don’t mind some sweetness. The pear gives a delicious and refreshing fruity opening and I like that part the most. After that I get some sort of orange-ginger lemonade with some jasmin petals in it. If you want a slightly louder but cheaper version of this go for the limited summer 2011 edition of Flowerparty by Yves Rocher.
serj67 – :
Way too fresh and airy too me. Doesn’t have the sweetness of the original.

I got this about 3 weeks ago. I really like it, it reminds me of a perfume creme that I bought when I was in Florida. Smells like fresh oranges and gentle summer breezes. It will definitely be one of my summer staples.

last year pear, this year also pear – is it necessary to make the same “new” summer edition every year?
