To me this smells like straight up white musk–very soapy and bland. Not a bad smell, and it would be good as a hand soap or lotion or something, but I can’t imagine this being someone’s signature scent.

To me, this might not be an outright dupe, but it smells quite similar to 1 Million. It took me a bit to identify the fragrance this reminded me of, as I don’t own 1 Million, but have smelled it many times. Opens with a “fresh” note, flowing down into a heart of cinnamon, fruit (apple?), rose, touch of lavender… then onto a base of frankincense, coumarin, musk. It doesn’t project at all like 1 Million does, but the lasting power on this one is quite good… so, if you like this sort of “fresh-spicy” fragrance, this isn’t bad. Note the metallic gold field on the title side of the box.
The notes above are WAY off.

I really thought I would like this perfume based on the listed notes but this was a bust for me. I was hoping this would be a strong vanilla/amber scent but I was completely overwhelmed by the musk. The oud, however, was quite subtle and well blended. Oh well!

Fragrance Review For Arabisque Al Rehab
Top Notes: Vanilla Lime
Middle Notes: Tuberose Citrus Coriander
Base Notes: Agarwood Oud Amber Musk
I was in the perfume store Rehab Al Khaleej in Dubai yesterday. The fragrances in the United Arab Emirates are as magnificent as the cities themselves. This is a beautiful attar perfume oil. Accustomed to Western versions of Orientals and having worn and enjoyed each of the notes in this fragrance in other fragrances, it was a joyful surprise to discover how different it is as an attar. Vanilla in a top note??! How awesome is that? I’ve never come across fragrances of the West that open with vanilla which is usually a base note. This one opens with vanilla and lime or a lemon lime, and smells a bit like a sorbet made up of vanilla and lemon, it’s a sweet lemon juice flavored with vanilla. It’s not too sweet however as it has a distinct oiliness. There’s a citrus scent as well and it becomes just a little bit like the new Shalimar. The only flower in this fragrance is a tuberose, a creamy and very sweet smelling tuberose. It’s becoming more and more vanillic so it almost smells like gardenia. This has a lovely floral smell in the heart but it dries down rather quickly to the more aromatic and true Oriental notes of oud and musk. The oud here is more of a casual day time oud, very easy to wear, not quite an introduction to oud but quite simple and softer than other ouds I’ve worn. The coriander gives it a bite and spice and the amber a clean finish. This is such a sweet scent, very enjoyable and highly recommended as a day time casual fragrance. It’s a fine introduction to authentic Arabic perfumes and real Orientals.
