Don’t listen or pay any attention to stupid reviews on this great juice like (you get what you pay for) or (this happen to me for being so cheap), come on this people usually brag on their niche collection, but let me tell you something, There’s out there under the radar cheapies that smell better than the originals with more compliments from either side women or men!..

First of all I have the version that comes in the new black opaque container, though I don’t believe there has been any reformulation.
This is pretty inexpensive – one can pick it up for around 15 USD or so in Dubai. For the price you really can’t go wrong. It’s a sweet smelling leather fragrance and not to dissimilar from what I have noted of TF Tuscan Leather. Maybe a more sophisticated nose can readily discern the diference, but its close enough for me not to really care. And judging from the compliments I get, it’s attractive for many people.
Not really a beast mode performer on my skin. Moderate projection and sillage, and around 6 hours longevity. Still, definitely a bang for the buck fragrance like most offerings from Nabeel. Can see myself keeping this in the wardrobe long term.

if you’re struggling with the raspberry note in TF Tuscan Leather or la yuqawam, this might work . Additionally, like Tuscan Leather or la yuqawam, this is all about SUEDE
Ligther scent than those two aforementioned so even those who are not big fans of SUEDE may find it appealing

Wow – thyme leather bomb! I love thyme, but I get no sweetness in this one. Where is the raspberry that everyone is voting as dominant note? Might just be my nose, too sensitive to these hard leathers. But i think any leather, thyme and I guess raspberry lover is going to love this.

Today,it’s my first day of wearing AT.First impression is that I miss longevity, but I have to wear it a couple of times more,to make a final judgement.I like the smell,it is very very close to Tuscan leather tom ford, and if you’re a fan of TL,you’ll be satisfyed. The only thing I detected for now is as I said, lack of longevity. As I also own a nabeel macho man,I can say that Macho man has a better longevity. That’s all for now.
    …..
After wearing this scent for a couple of days,I can say that I’m pretty dissapointed with longevity.(Or is it just my subjective opinion?)Very light on my skin, although I sprayed couple of sprays…that’s my skin.Hopefully I have a Macho man, from the same company, and it works well, indeed. The same scent, but it is a roll on,perfumed oil,and lasts and lasts.
    ……
One thing that I discovered later on…at one point I got that raspberry, and the other,I got the feeling of a smell of a full ashtray.Full of smoked cigarets, and full of ash.I’m heavily against smoking so it boders me a bit,but it seems that raspberrys goes well with that ash,and they constantly mix with each other.

Like KnightOf The Kings stated. Save your money! This is over priced, and not worth the money! I don’t really find this lasts that long, anyway. That’s why I gifted it to my sister. It’s a pleasant perfume, and nothing more…… I’m afraid. There are far more beautiful perfumes to try. So I wouldn’t bother with this one.

I wore this yesterday in Atlanta in comfortable 82 degree weather with fair humidity and a breeze. I figured I would wear it since I am in climate controlled environment most often. Man, did I get compliments out the wazoo! Performance is very good, I had an awesome scent cloud around me and I got whiffs of this often. I sprayed it on my shirt and skin, it lasted into the next morning. I bought this a an intentional dupe of TL. I am pleased. Initially when I bought this I thought it was a dud so glad I gave it another chance. I tried wearing this in winter but it didn’t do well. This goes straight to the leather, suede accord. I don’t get any raspberry. I recently bought Rasasi LQ because I thought this was a poor performer, I was wrong. Good presentation. I wish more middle eastern companies would take more chances on duping.

It was worth the £14-15 price mark, but no more.
Unfortunately, unscrupulous people have jumped aboard the greed train and are asking £30.
My advice is to add another £20 and get La Yuquawam, as far superior scent in a beautiful bottle, in a magnetic, wooden box.
Alternatively, try Perfume Parlour or Precious Pearls for Tom Ford Tuscan Leather clones. They are cheaper and longer lasting.
I have at least 2 bottles of this, and they cost me £20 for 2! I could sell them for a profit, but I have more integrity than to do something scummy like that.
It also means that yet another good clone bites the dust due to greed!

Cheekily delicious, surprisingly classy, absurdly cheap. What more do you want? I’ve worn, owned and loved both TF Tuscan Leather and La Yuqawam and for me, Arab Tradition is by far the best of the three if we’re talking (mega)bang per (tiny) buck.
Yes, it is softer overall, and slightly less lushly spiced than the Tom Ford; and its smoky side is not nearly as fuming and burnt-seeming as the rather aggressive ashtray note in La Yuqawam. Arab Tradition’s raspberry seems also a bit less poke-and-shout=y than the slightly piercing version in La Yuq. So, unless your nose is so finely balanced that you really can detect a slight variation in the percentage of saffron, or the precise tincture of jasmine – in which case you might even still consider it worth paying full price for Tuscan Leather – this is the one you should be buying. If you could honestly tell the difference it would be a scented version of the old “Princess and the Pea” story, as only the most cultivated, most refined sensibilities could do it in my opinion.
I’m so grateful to the fellow fraghead who sent me a decant of this for nothing – one of the dupes which really do the business.

You get what you pay for. This to me does not smell like Tuscan Leather. This fragrance is is a light to moderate smelling leather fragrance. On myself this has low-to-moderate performance you definitely smell leather but not a high-quality leather. I see that this fragrance has the same note breakdown as Tuscan Leather but believe me they aren’t the same it might be similar in that you smell leather but this does not have the rich and full-bodied smell that Tuscan Leather has is not even close to in my opinion. I just ordered Rasasi LY and hope that is a much better quality than this. Again you get what you pay for this was only 15 or 20 bucks off of eBay and it is a EDP concentration but it’s nothing to write home about I’m not saying that it’s garbage but I would have rather spent the $20 towards the rasasi fragrance that’s what I get for being cheap again you get what you pay for it was a total Blind by for me and left me a little let down.

This is a wonderful leather raspberry fragrance. I don’t own TFTL, but I do own La Yuqawam and this smells 90% like it, probably more. The drydown of this is freaking amazing! It cost me £14 for 100ml including postage, can’t really go wrong with that!
Edit: sweeter than La Yuqawam and the leather note is not as strong and it doesn’t last as long, but as stated above it’s worth the £14.

smells super close to TFTL .. for the price its super juice ! glad i bought it

sweeter version of TF Tuscan Leather, definitely is more oily as its more perfume concentrated, doesn’t have much sillage but on clothes its stays very long time.

I have a decant of Tuscan Leather and a full bottle of Rasasi La Yuqawam.
Other than a little more raspberry in Arab Tradition in the first half hour I can’t really tell the difference.
They all perform the same on my skin.
I went out to see a band over the Christmas holidays with Tuscan Leather on one arm and Arab Tradition on the other. Six hours and a bit of energetic dancing later told me all I needed to know.
I bought another bottle of Arab Tradition and urged a friend at work to do the same.
Imagine sweet, creamy new suede. A box of brand new desert boots with a glass of raspberry juice next to it.
    A beauty.

My cheapest best performing EDP so far. I really like the fruity and sweet floral opening then suddenly introduces the leather scent…bam! Did a survey and almost all the women in the office loves the scent!

Beautiful sweet deep rich fragrance never tried Tuscan leather so can’t make a comparison. However i will say if you like sweet floral fragrances this is beautiful. Defo worth a blind buy as it’s fairly cheap on eBay in the UK excellent longevity i don’t get the beast mode but a nice silage. Perfect for winter I’d say surrounds you in a nice sweet bubble.

I only bought this because of ShavenOnTheDarkSide.
Brother you were right…I owe you for this one.
    I love this…
The leather and raspberry note is lovely.
A simple must have in your collection people!
Better than La Yuqawam Homme By Rasasi & Tuscan Leather By Tom Ford.
I can’t add anything else to this review…that everyone else, hasn’t already covered it.
I used six sprays…both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest and front of my shirt.
    Will I buy this again?…YES!

Was sceptical to begin with but this thing is damn close to TL Tuscan Leather. I can’t compare it to other clones but for the money it is unbelievable.

Really good tuscan leather clone. Sadly its already discontinued here in the UAE. I tried to purchase a backup bottle but all nabeel branches and mall kiosks said its discontinued.

The first time I sprayed this I was really shocked, as I got hit by a Play Dough fruity, almondy plastic blast that i had to wash off as it stank. I say wash, more like scrub like a mad man as this juice is powerful and just didn’t want to budge!
However, I’ve had this happen with virtually all the GCC fragrance houses I have in my collection, ie, Armaf/Lattafa/Al-Rehab/Estiara etc so it wasn’t unexpected. The only GCC house I’ve not experienced this with is Rasasi.
The fix is simple, all I had to do was leave the cap for a couple of days and give the sprayer a good few squirts, I don’t know why this works but it’s done the trick on all my GCC clones like CDNI, ADAMS, Tres Nuit etc.
    As for the smell:
Fans of TL style frags will love this juice. It opens with the customary blast of leather and raspberry, not harsh or synthetic but surprisingly smooth and natural, a tad fainter than TL but still very dense and opulent.
For the first 3-4 hours you get leather (which is almost suede like) along with a semi-sweet but not cloying raspberry note, with a touch of smokiness and light, delicate white florals, all interplaying perfectly giving off distinguishable wafts throughout that time.
From 4 hours on to the end (easy 12-14 hours) I get spicy woods and aromatic incense coming along to join the ever present leather and raspberry, with the florals disappearing.
Inevitable comparisons will be drawn with Rasasi’s La Yuq and Montheme’s Leather, but there is arguably a place for all 3 given none of them truly match the original, which is a true masterpiece of perfumery, and each has it’s own focus.
For me, I’d rank them follows:
1st) Arab Tradition as it’s closest to the overall experience of wearing TL, as in smell and development from the opening spray to the dry down and finish, albeit, a fainter version. Cost is £14 or so on Ebay for 100ml EDP.
2nd) La Yuq, again it is close but I find it’s fruit and Jasmine notes are not as natural and are noticeably different to TL, and this spoilt it for me. It also doesn’t develop in the same way, so the wearing experience is not the same as TL. Costs circa £60-£65 for 75ml.
3rd) Leather, Candied fruit salad and no raspberry in the opening, and if anything, the leather/woody/Smokey notes are just too strong. Having worn it a few times it reminds me of original Aramis being spliced with a ramped up Aramis Devin, but with added smoke.
Arab Tradition gets a thumbs up from me but is not a replacement or TL killer. Its an enjoyable scent for when you want the TL vibe but don’t want to use your expensive juice.

** EDIT ** Itake it back and was very quick to judge, side by side with Tuscan Leather , this performs actually very good and easily lasts 6 hours plus – Nice La Yuqawam style leather fragrance.

    5 out of 5

The Tuscan Leather smell is one of my favorite scents of all time. I have a pretty big collection and it stands unique amongst them all. I’ll never buy it though in a full bottle. It’s just got smell alike’s that actually do the note blend much more pleasing to my sense of smell.
I found out quickly that the scent was copied well in the middle eastern frag houses and scored a couple huge bottle’s of Surrati’s Tuskan Leather oil. I love that oil, but you can never have too much of a good thing, so I picked up Rasasi La Yuqawam which was light by comparison to that oil, but still strong and long lasting, comparable with the Rasberry prominence.
Then, I got me some Brown Leather made by another frag house out of the East. To my nose, it’s closer to the Tuscan Leather it mimics because the Rasberry is mixed in at about the same note strength as Tuscan Leather.
Still, I find and found that all of those mentioned are not every day wearable. They are all beast mode with the Surrati Oil being something of a fragrance Nuclear bomb. I wear those for myself, but people aren’t always as appreciative of the scent as I am, and I do like to wear fragrances that others enjoy, especially when I’m doing the most common casual outing type thing.
That leads me here to this Arab Tradition frag. It’s a bit Tuscan Leather lite, with the heavier Rasberry I prefer from the others. To my nose, its way more of a pleasing daily casual representation because its at a more casual scent strength. With the higher notes of the fragrance more prominent, it’s more enjoyable as well. This is a day casual wearable version of the scent that can be enjoyed in almost any scenario day or night, casually. It actually fades away at a reasonable level 5-6 hours, so when night hits, or I’m in the mood for the beasts I can switch off. I have no reason to ever purchase one of my absolute favorite scents with all these great comparable one’s. I actually think all of the Rasberry heavy one’s do it better than the real thing. They just have varying loudness, comparable to blasting a song in a concert vs. listening to it on a small radio. This is I think the only case where I actually prefer a lighter more toned down version of a frag. It’s like what happens in Reformulations where I usually get disappointed, but in this case I’m like, thank Nabeel!

Wow, I didn’t expect to much or simple I was just going to say meaa! just another cheap fragrance, but o boy if I was totally wrong, this juice concoction blow me away, took me by surprise, it does smell like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, with their own twist, cool…

    Some observations…
    1. The bottle is different to the photo shown here on Fragrantica. It’s transparent glass, oval shaped (viewed from above) with a round wooden cap. It looks more feminine than the black bottle in the Fragrantica photo. I’d prefer the black bottle personally. Not only because it is looks better and saves space, but also because the opaque bottle will help preserve the scent longer. On the upside, it’s easy to tell how much liquid is left in the transparent glass bottle.
    2. The cap is not a tight fit, so if you lift the bottle by the cap, you risk dropping it.
    3. The bottle comes in a woven bag with a leatherette base, instead of in a box. The bag has a drawstring closure.
    4. This is such a low priced fragrance that unless you live in the US or the UK, you may find that the cost of shipping is greater than the cost of the fragrance itself. It’s hard to believe that such a low priced fragrance can smell so expensive.
    5. It smells really great! I keep sniffing my application points when nobody is watching.
    6. Sillage great. Initially I thought it was not great, but then I was told that I could be smelled from quite a distance. The next day I noticed the same. Two sprays is plenty and four sprays is overkill.
    7. Longevity great. I took a quick shower in the evening and didn’t scrub the backs of my hands like I usually do. The scent was quite noticeable when I went to bed and was still going strong the next morning. Very impressive.
    8. Amazing value for money!

If you want a really good TL alternative, get this. For 20 euros is a bargain.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

This is the BEST Tuscan Leather alternative I’ve tried and one of the closest fragrance clones I’ve ever experienced! I own Tuscan Leather, and from what I can tell, this uses all the same exact ingredients. The scent is nearly IDENTICAL! It’s not quite as smoky as Tuscan Leather, but I haven’t heard a single person complain about that.
Imagine Tuscan Leather… replace some of the smokiness with more saffron, and take the performance down to office-appropriate levels, and what you’ll have left is Arab Tradition.
    I LOVE THIS!
This is officially my Tuscan Leather “Light” for the office. (Montale Aoud Leather is my Tuscan Leather “Aqua”, for comparison! Check my review on that one too…)
In my opinion, Nabeel Macho Man and Arab Tradition are much closer to Tuscan Leather than Rasasi La Yuqawam. Nabeel uses the same ingredients as Tuscan Leather, unlike the Rasasi, which smells like a different raspberry note and a different olibanum or incense note, and the leather in La Yuqawam comes across rubbery, and not in a good way. Smelling them side-by-side, Arab Tradition BLENDS with Tuscan Leather, while La Yuqawam does not. You can even layer Tuscan Leather over Arab Tradition and there is NO scent clash (I’ve done it numerous times!). If you were to try that with Rasasi La Yuqawam, you would not be happy with the results.
Also, the PRICE! You absolutely can’t lose with this one. This is blind buy and backup bottle worthy – especially if you found Tuscan Leather to be a bit too strong or hard to wear at the office!

An amazing fragrance, I have spoken to the team at Nabeel and celebrate this fragrance. Will get more buzz in the coming months with more reviewer’s on YouTube.

Very Masculine and the ladies love it.

    NOT A REVIEW:
Does anybody know where I can get this in the United States?

  31. :

    5 out of 5

    Aha!
I’m a contented, happy owner of Arab Tradition, having compared notes and decided it was an excellent buy for those hankering after Tom Ford’s well known leather. But…. I’d never gotten around to testing ‘the original’. Not only was I perfectly content with my leather scent, but it’s been tough to track down the Tom Ford.
FINALLY I’ve found a Tuscan Leather tester, and can completely verify that Arab Tradition is a FINE dupe. 🙂 The Tom Ford is heavier and seems stronger and more smoky than Arab Tradition, but a whiff of sillage from either one will be so close to identical as not worth comparing. They are 99% alike, in my humble estimation.
Arab Tradition is 15 dollars well spent!!!
PS – Tester found at Nordstrom – which only recently began carrying more Tom Ford fragrances.

Clone of Tuscan Leather and maybe even better IMO. My friend wears Tuscan Leather which is beyond my budget so I purchased Arab Tradition and sprayed both on different arms. I can’t tell the difference… they smell exactly alike. My wife has a much better nose than I and she can’t tell the difference either except AT is more richer. They both have killer longevity. The opening is Unisex and the base notes dry down to a much more masculine scent. Women can wear this because it’s not uber-masculine like Azzaro PH, Polo Green, Fahrenheit or Aramis PH. All in all I’m happy with my purchase and will now check off Tuscan Leather on my buy list. Great value. I’m going to sell my other Tuscan Leather replacement (Monotheme Leather) because AT smells exactly like Tuscan Leather 10/10 while Monotheme Leather is close about 80% but no a dead ringer like Arab Tradition by Nabeel.

Thanks for turning me towards this guys. Opens incredibly fruity, raspberry ramped up to overload and smells amazing. I don’t like raspberry to be honest but the smell here is incredible. Leather then interplays and creates a stunning accord – just from first impressions I am blown away. Looking forward to wearing this in the autumnal nights to come.
This is very long-lasting – easily a good 12 hours. I find it stays on clothes for ages too – 4-5 days later and it’s still noticeable. I find that the raspberry is the predominant note in here but smells very fruity, up-class and downright stunning!
I posted a first impressions of this on youtube and yeah I was really taken aback by how good this smells.
/EDIT – 7th December, this now smells very smokey from the start now and the raspberry is a lot more toned down than it was before. This is just after a month of owning it. Interesting – it’s made it a far richer and masculine smell
/EDIT – 5th February, I absolute love this scent. There’s not a week that goes by where I don’t wear it at least once, and every time I do and catch whafts of it while walking around I fall in love again. Easily my best cheapie.

    Another powerhouse Arabic fragrance.
I was looking for a cheap and cheerful daywear fragrance and as Leather/woody scents seem to work well for my skin, I thought I’d give Arab Tradition a try.
Less than £15 on Ebay, this juice is astonishing in projection and longevity.
If anything, the initial olfactory blast is somewhat overpowering in it’s flowery sweetness.
However, it dries down fairly quickly to it’s very long lasting Leather/woody notes.
Certainly not a simple daywear fragrance, I’ve had quite a few compliments on it in my local drinking establishment.
    A definite winner, for me.

I find it very similar to Tuscan Leather. I have never smelled La Yukawam. A family member commented to me that this fragrance had a dill smell to it. I agree that it is vegetal at first application. I pair this with Monotheme Leather, another similar fragrance that has more leather and a petroleum note to it, and it smells even closer to Tuscan Leather. I find Monotheme more masculine. I can smell both on clothes the following day.

Just purchased this online in UK, and looks like my bottle will be white too.
Review to follow as soon as it arrives.
    Update:
Fantastic. White, round, wooden stopper/lid, oval base, and white parchment-style label.
Comes in a durable pouch instead of a box. Looks expensive and distinctive.
For me, this performs just like La Yuquawam and smells virtually identical, but maybe a tad less earthy.
    Well recommended.

    Note –
Yes, the bottle is different than what is shown here. It is of clear, rounded glass with a gold-print-on-white label and a hefty white, wooden textured lid.
Arab Tradition also arrives in a duffle style drawstring bag in place of the usual cardboard box. Nice!

    Absolutely charming.
I have no idea why this fragrance is so little reviewed, except perhaps that here in the US it has just become available? Those of you in the middle east have some marvelous bargains from Nabeel, if this is anything to go by!
The notes read exactly like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Tom Ford scents have a tendency to be rather heavy, and this charmer is not. Decent longevity and sillage, in an edt-type concentration, rather than Ford’s usual edp. I have no complaints – it’s quality aroma at a fabulous price. Not to mention that this bottle is massive and will last me a LONG while.
Distinctly unisex, an herbal leather rather than a dark one. A light touch of sweetness from the raspberry never descends into fruity-tooty territory. Perfect for hot weather. Refreshing rather than sticky sweet, and fresh rather than feral. WIN.
If you want an AIRY leather, look no further!
    Rating – Absolutely 5 stars
