Description

Aqva Amara, a new flanker of the masculine fragrance Aqva from Bvlgari, represents a new twist in the creation of aquatic perfumes. Perfumer Jacques Cavallier enriched the composition with noble ingredients making it more luxurious, while trying to preserve the distinctive aquatic and Mediterranean character.

Aqva Amara, or “bitter water”, is a fragrance filled with energy and light symbolized with its copper color bottle. The composition includes accords of Sicilian mandarin mixed with oil of neroli flower. The base notes are Indonesian patchouli and white incense olibanum.

Famous male model Jon Kortajarena poses on a beach as a sun kissed Greek god. The campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
Aqva Amara was launched in 2014.

Wore it first time in evening and now trying it out today in office. I think its suited more for evening wear than morning or afternoon.
Personally i think this has to be most hyped fragrance ever made. Its not that good as Jeremy Fragrance makes you think it is. It may suit him and conditions he lives in but clearly it is not “STRENGTH OF THE OCEAN”
Smell wise i don’t think its anything special, Aqva Pour Homme smells different with its sea weed note. This one smells like burnt orange peels and incense. The smell is linear and does not develop into something special. I have a 10 ml decant and i’m glad i didn’t waste my money on full bottle.
Its not a masterpiece, its nothing special so get something better.
NOTE: I think there is ambroxin in it definitely like in Sauvage and Invictus Aqva. I can detect it because its my least favorite note.

What I’d imagine sunshine in a bottle would smell like.
It’s not too orangey, or salty like the other Bvlgari acquas, The mix of neroli and incense mids are bliss. It’s heating up in the Australian spring and then onto summer so this will get a good workout.

Some reviews here claim it smells like raw eggs, like an old lady, like sewer pipe at a beach. Well, I better look for more colognes with the same reviews because this juice gets me more compliments than any other in my summer rotation. This fragrance is a living legend!
Tip: If your winters are cold such as in New England, Canada, Chicago, Minnesota, Ireland, Russia, you get the idea. Do yourself a favor and on the coldest winter day, perhaps even a snow day in mid January, apply a few sprays of Amara on your chest and go out for the day. Do that and I guarantee you’ll be in a happy place and people around you will be too. The aroma will be reminding you and others of good Summer times. The key is to do this Amara wearing only once or twice at most in the winter. And it will literally catapult you to a happy place of the previous summers. And others will be so intrigued. You see, in the cold winters most people wear fragrances of various spices, leather, tobacco, sweet notes, etc. So when you bring them the ocean on the coldest days, they are instantly reminded of good Summer vibes.
Of course, when summer does come, Amara would make a wonderful signature scent for the beach and other special occasions in the summer.
Don’t over wear this gem! Keep it memorable. This is a special juice and should be treated as such. Wear it at the Beach and perhaps cookouts only a few times during the summer! Make it special because that’s exactly what this juice is… Special. It’s the kind of scent you never want to overdo because it’s like falling in love… you want to be reminded over and over again of that feeling when you first realize your heart is taken. Of course you can’t compare true love with another to a fragrance. But you can’t make it more memorable. Few things ignite our memory more than a scent

    This was a blindbuy.
Let me tell you, this is totally safe, I had some regrets after buying this online, reading the mixed reviews, but now that i have it, i like it so much and I’m glad i bought it. It doesn’t smell like raw egg, it doesn’t smell like burnt mandarine, it is not overhyped, it is not offensive (some said people wanted to wash it off their wrists). this is simply awesome, lasting and projective. Buy it.

    @Ipman_bhat
I had the exact same problem, I honestly thought i had a dodgy bottle that might have gone bad, it smelled like raw egg, it was very weak too which was probably a good thing. I sent mine back as couldn’t bring myself to even gift it to someone. Perhaps there was a bad batch which is why they’ve supposedly discontinued Amara (though some people say it’s still in production).
It seems like there are a lot of bottles around so maybe they’re being produced by a third party in the far east and Bulgari aren’t too bothered or are oblivious to it? Either of these options could explain the wild variety of reviews.

Bought this on a blind buy cuz of the hype, but not my 1st.. One word ‘horrible’
Reminds me of an old women’s perfume back in the 80’s and I did give multiple of tries just a few sprays in the heat and nope still horrible.. Went to a shopping mall and tried it there and same smell, so it’s not a bad batch. Asked the female’s in my family they tried and immediately washed there wrists where it was applied with one dose.. So this one not for me. And tried to give it away but nobody wants it.. I like a variety of cologne but this sad to say, horrible

I dont love it but I like it, it is in zesty citrus side I think, if you are looking for fresh citrus you should look at other fragrances,it d0oes not mean it is not good fragrance, but its is more zesty not vibrant fresh energizing one.

Ottimo profumo.
    Promosso a pieni voti.
    Bravo, come sempre, Jacques Cavallier.

This is such a beautiful, fresh scent,
    Always a compliment getter
and the longevity of this, ….being a fresh fragrance….is incredible.
I c some people hating it and I really can’t get it
Cause I can understand some people not liking it much because of the very pronounced orange

I wonder if this will become the seminal hall of fame fragrance it’s hyped as being. I’m unable to give this a realistic critique. I can appreciate Acqua Di Gio and Cool Water (although I don’t like them), this I cannot. In 2018 divisive is vogue, so from that perspective maybe it is hall of fame worthy?

I blindbought this following the YouTube hype, worst mistake ever. I live in a hot and humid climate, so I assumed this would be a great daily scent. It smells like a very cheap synthetic orange flavored bathroom freshener , it’s so artificial that I would not even use it as a deodorizer, I would rather spray MR.clean on myself than this.

  13. :

    3 out of 5

    My bottle is intense..
I wanted to love this one but unfortunately i can only like it… the floral in mine is so powerful,i get very little orange and ocean and sea weedy rocks that everyone talks about.. i get a subtle citrus and the the floral and i guess incense, just powers everything…
I would reccomend 2 sprays max… not a bad scent from radius, but upclose and personal its boom in your face
    Scent:7/10
    Longevity:10/10
    Projection:10/10
    Overall:7/10

So this is a frag I pre-ordered because I liked its predecessors. I was stoked.
When I received this in the mail (in 2014) I was disappointed. I hate neroli. To me, the neroli stood out the most because I didn’t appreciate how it was blended.
Well….now after 4 years, I really, really like this one! I kept seeing reviews on how good this one is and how many compliments it garners….It convinced me to buy this again.
So, I received it and wore it….WOW. This is absolutely gorgeous for an aquatic. I am so over aquatics, but this is done perfectly. Just an amazingly, well thought-out aquatic.
This is in a completely different category than every other aquatic on the market. This makes me think of an orange colored ocean – But nothing in this blend is overbearing or overpowering. It all works in pure symphony to create an amazing hot summer day, chillin on the beach with a nice tan and cool breeze.
This is a masculine masterpiece. Such a fun, scent to wear.
After re-buying this one, the first time I wore it, I was on my way out the door as my wife was on her way in….We saw each other for about 5 seconds and the FIRST thing she said was, “Wow, you smell good.”
This is proven….Get it while it lasts!!!

I think this scent didn’t get the attention it deserves, because it was niche worthy, on a designer store shelf. This is an amazing Orange Spiced Woody scent. Very Enriched. An investigation needs to be done on while this was discontinued. This was equal to the original in a different way. I would buy both.

I seriously don’t understand the hype behind this one. It’s one of the worst perfumes I’ve tested so far. I prefer AQVA Pour Homme though.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Don’t understand the hype with this one. No one mentioned this before Jeremy Fragrance started hyping it and now all of a sudden everyone loves it? I blind bought on the hype and used it for a couple months over summer in rotation. Doesn’t do anything for me except last a long time for a freshie. Smells like dirty burnt rusty orange.. nothing special. Have since sold my bottle with no regrets. I think a fair rating without hype would be about 3.8 when I compare this against others. All my own opinion ofcourse!

  19. :

when my sister first smelled aqva amara she said it is a very very bad fragrance :D..i was a little disappointed because it was a blind buy
for me i like the scent
the performance is very very good
but in my opinion it is not a masterpiece like i was told
i think it is not a compliment gainer and no one will get curious to ask u about the perfume u r wearing
so for me its an ordinary scent .. do not blind buy
    u may find better one

Now I can cofirm, after I have a recent answer from Bvlgari, the tragic discontinuation of this superb gem. This is so so sad, and this kind of rules appears when a product gain huge selling rate, a great success, and the other ones are colecting dust on the shelves…
So, grab it as you can, the prices are already increased with at least 25%. In the end of the year will be more than $100.
So sad… everything I love and I like, everytime is going away too soon.

    Stupid Decision!
    Very Stupid Decision!
I don’t know the reason behind Bvlgari’s decision to discontinue this fragrance, maybe it affects the sales of their other mens fragrances? One thing is for sure “Bvlgari you are stupid!” for discontinuing this. You got fragrances that are almost 20 years old and people rarely buy them, but they are still getting manufactured.
Whoever from Bvlgari that made the decision doesn’t watch YouTube or check sites like Fragrantica to know that Amara is on alot of people’s buy list or top ten summer lists.
Almost every fragrance YouTuber got Amara on their top ten summer lists and it’s hyped up like no other Bvlgari fragrances.
Look forward to a dip in your sales in the fragrance department, if you think removing this will increase the sales of other fragrance in your line, you’re very wrong.
    You’re very stupid Bvlgari!

    So it is
    it isn’t
    it is
    it isn’t
    So it remains a mystery…
…just like the ‘success’ of the scent (unless as I said mine was a dodgy bottle).
Sometimes I wonder if certain discontinued frags get hyped so as to offload leftover stockpiles! That’s the cynic in me talking! 😀

    Discontinued? Hell no!
I just bought my partner his second bottle.
This thing is a beast of a scent, why do they get rid of the good guys…
The stores here in Aus are flooded with Amara.
    I hope it sticks around.

Member Ranya posted on August 7th that she wrote Bvlgari and they said this wasn’t discontinued.
Unfortunately, it appears that Aqva Amara has indeed been discontinued I just received an email from Bvlgari yesterday which stated, “Please kindly note, the BVLGARI AQVA Amara has been discontinued.”
Now I have to decide whether to buy it at twice the price it was selling for on the discount sites last year.

I bought this on a blind buy after watching reviews. Very disappointing. Smells like citrus engine degreaser to me. It has very good longevity so I tried it as a car deodorizer. I still couldn’t live with it. All is not lost though. It is now my rubbish bin deodorizer. I see it is now discontinued but if you are tempted I suggest you try it first.

  27. :

Damn what a classic, genius, and awesome. This smells incredibly deep, rich, and orangy balsamic scent for a designer almost niche fragrance. This will get you noticed for sure. How did they discontinue this. They should make it a tad bit more concentrated and re release this on a niche store counter, it would do well, better than Macys/Dillards.

This fragrance is incredibly similar to D&G Light blue swimming in Lipari. I couldn’t detect any difference between these aquatic scents. Just Aqva Amara has a weaker projection and sillage than the italian limited edition Swimming in Lipari and a more floreal opening. I also find this scent not so masculine…Honestly I’ll keep using my D&G till I will be able to find it on the internet.
I will go on Aqva Amara when Swimming in Lipari will be sold out everywhere.
    Ciao 🙂

1-Scent: When I sprayed it first time I hated it! it smelled like egg! like dead fish!
*Hint: spray about 10 times from it and leave it for 1-2 weeks! after that that egg is gone! now you smell bad quality mandarine, so 4/10
2- Longevity: on my skin and in hot Summer ( 30-42c ) it lasts about 8hrs, so 9.5/10
3- Projection: great projection even after hours, so 9/10
4- For those who like to get compliments especially from women (it’s not important for me) this is a good choice in Summer.
*among Summer scents there are few fragrances with such a performance so performance is very good but about the scent I don’t like it even after that eggy note is gone, I just hated it but now I just dislike it.
    * Do not blind buy !
    6.5/10

I was really excited for this fragrance. It had good reviews. It find in the opening this frags is really nice there is a nicely done almost orange pop cycle vibe that happens. But is very short lived. Then the frag changes to something I do not enjoy at all. The dry down to me reminds me exactly of le beau male. My most disliked fragrance so far. And in the regard once this frag dries I cannot stand it. It’s not as terrible as le beau male but close enough that I cannot even wear it.

  31. :

I just got this one yesterday…
Wow I really enjoy it , but unfortunately the performance is not what I was hoping for.
It only lasted about 2-3 hours on my skin.
I will give it a second try with a few more sprays next time.
    UPDATE,
Decided to give this one another try this morning…..did a few more sprays than last time, this is a great scent…..I have to order another bottle before it gets hard to find.
In my opinion this scent is underrated, as soon as I walked in to my office building I got a positive reaction to it.
I hope they decide to bring this one back

This amazing, unique fragrance will be soon MISSED. Why to give the recipe to hermes or other brand? it s a Bulgari and a Cavallier masterpiece. Yes, the composition and ingredients (more than we can see listed here) are expensive and beautifully mixed but Bvlgari found that other fragrances went dramatically down in sales so, it is posiblle to be discontinued this year for a solid marketing reason, with all the records of sales. Until then, it is still in production so we have no reason to be sad. I am not the only one who loves this magical fragrance, I have many niches and great perfumes but this is the first time in my life when ALL the ppl complimented a fragrance I wear, with no exception.Every time. And don t listen bad records here, just try it. Cavallier never failed, so this time as well he mastered a niche fragrance for a great price.

After all of the hype surrounding this..
I bought it blind and oh dear what a disappointment, I was expecting more watery notes and more orange.
However this to me, although it smells unique.. still has an aire of “generic” about it.
For a more orange vibe fragrance; Hermes Concentre d’Orange Verte is better smelling than this.
I do not detect Neroli at all on my skin with this and also after wearing on my hand for an afternoon (New bottle literally turned up this afternoon) it is seemingly giving me a bit of a headache!
I will wear this on a hot day to give a second chance.. however I’m not sure this is as great as everyone says..

  34. :

This indeed has good composition but execution mediocre and key notes cheap smelling. Rough, artificial, tinny… Give the recipe to Hermes. Could have been so much better.

@Trephine Artist for sure was a very badly stored box. An exception. There is nothing about an expiration or something like that, a genuine scent from a respectable nowadays brand can resist more than 10 years if it is stored properly. If it s a quality vintage, 30 years means nothing, better with the age like an old expensive whiskey.
Regarding some reviews here and comparsion with Dior Sauvage, which I don t like at all, I don t see any similarity with DS. They can be listed in let s say almost same category, but the result of the dry down is totally different.

  38. :

Sorry but I am not a fan. Blind bought this one and I admit its disappointing. I expected more from it but I do agree it is truly unique. I just feel like the opening is too harsh and it smells like cheap perfume but after 30 minutes it does get better. One tip for you guys PLEASE try it before you buy it lol don’t be like me.

Smooth, Citrusy, fresh and soft fragrance. The interesting side is how this much soft and friendly smooth scent can project beastly? For sure citrusy notes are not kinda natural but also it’s not annoying synthetic. It’s like a soap by aroma of bergamot and bitter orange plus jasmine! Absolutely I can notice jasmine. For causal or daily usage it’s ok but I cannot say it is wow …

  40. :

    4 out of 5

    @Ranya
That’s interesting. Maybe I’ll have to give it another shot sometime, would be nice to try it in a store first though. I blind bought a bottle but had to send it back as it smelled rotten (!)-either due to a problem with storage or that’s how it’s supposed to smell!
Edit:perhaps they know there were some iffy batches? Maybe the problem is solved now then.

wrote to Bulgari last week and asked if the AA line is discontinued because my bf like it very much and I wanted to know if it is necessary to make a stock. No, it isn t. Surprisingly they answered me and said that was a short period of time when it was intrerupted but now the entire line (including the gift set and deo) is in production. So, everybody calm down, this masterpiece is or will be in markets (in some of them, again after a short disparition). Seems the first 2014 version is stronger and deeper, more proeminent than the 2016/2017 ones. But not dramatically different. Basically the same stunning scent! And like someone said it before, yes, it is a NICHE masterpiece and the price, considering the ingredients, is a bargain! Yes, there is a Cavallier genius in this beautiful bottle and for sure, as quality, this is a 200$ fragrance!

I Think aqva amara and dior sauvage are The best fresh fragrances on the market. Amara Lasts 10 hours on my skin which is more than great for a fresh fragrance.
Opens with a sharp aggressive bitter orange which is strange (in a good way) and really unique and then it changes to a much softer and beautiful floral-aquatic scent. You may not like it if you smell it up close to your skin, It will be harsh but let it dries down a bit then you see magic happens.
I hated it for the first time but now it’s in my top 10 fragrances ever.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve tried other Aqva fragrances which aren’t to my liking but Bvlgari Amara opens with a huge burst of rich mandarin that projects very well for several hours – unusual for most citrus fragrances – and the dry down ages fantastically well into a soft balsamic incense that remains fresh.
These ingredients are of high quality and smell like Amara should cost much more than it does… I guess Bvlgari is running halo products because this smells expensive – slap a Tom Ford label on this and it would sell for 300€.
This lasts a good 7/8 hours on my skin; most citrus fragrances last no more than 4 or 5 hours for me.

  44. :

Lovely bright and tangy orange fragrance with great longevity. Go easy on the trigger though.
Can feel obnoxious due to it’s power. Smells pricier than it is. Quality juice in my opinion.
Definitely worth trying…if you like orange type fragrances.

I finally had the opportunity to own this one after waiting for so long. I love when the fragrances developed by the time, so this one does. It opens like fresh citruses with hint of saltiness and oceanic feel. I don’t know how the perfumer on this one came up with that smell of the ocean, but i guess a proper combination of notes. Anyways, after the initial spray, it mellows into something more , aquatic and salty, wooden, oceanic by keeping the citruses and the fresh vibe in the background. Natural smelling, but to my opinion it is oriented for older men, since it does not have the youthful vibe like the other very popular designers. So, please kids if you read this and you are not older than 26, don’t grab this one! The performance and sillage of this one is pretty good, it is probably in top 3 of my best smelling and long performing fragrances for summer that i own in general. Oh, since i’m bringing this topic with the performance, I would like to ask the perfumers and designer houses to create fragrances that perform for more than 3-4 hours, doesn’t matter how amazing the fragrance is smelling, when it performs poorly. It is absolutely crazy to see very expensive designer houses that produces very expensive fragrances that lasts only 2-3 almost 4 hour utmost. Please consider that when we buy fragrances, we spray ourselves, because we want to smell for extended period of time, not only 2-3 hours!!! See ya!

Bvlgari Aqva Amara “Bitter Water” is simply divine not too many notes but absolutely masterful by Jacques Cavalier, he out did himself when he made this stunning orange juice with incense (olibanum) strongly present with the neroli just sensual like bathing in the Sun in St.Tropez with Bain de soleil gelee all over my body looking at the Sunset!
    Sillage & Longevity 10!

This is a master piece by Jacques Cavallier. This is the most prominent fragrance of the celebrated “Aqva” line by Bvlgari.
This fragrance opens with a blast of mandarin and is aquatic in nature. Apt for Office/Casual enviroment and extremely versatile for the Summers.
This fragrance in very unique in it’s own way and has the backone of the Aqva line. This smells like oranges floating in the sea.
    Scent-9/10

    Longevity-10/10

I removed my (previous) negative review, from reading some recent comments it’s possible I got a bottle which had gone off, perhaps due to having been badly stored.
My bottle smelled disgusting after the initial citrus blast, I got that eggy/sulphur smell that people have mentioned (this could be just what happens with some of our skin chemistries (especially in high heat) I suppose but it was bad. Then less than an hour later there was nothing at all.
Purchased this month, batch November 2014, I sent it back. I hope to get a decant someday though just to compare. The bottle is a work of art too.

I don’t disagree with Kameron below, but I own 4 bottles of varying sizes and years (first 2014 release and 2016 bottles purchased from FNet and notino).
Any differences I detect are minor and likely from storage and volatile ingredients degrading (2014). It’s pretty much the same longevity experience for me.
Since most of what’s left in stores are 2016 manufactured bottles…. I think people can rest easy knowing they will get a great fragrance.

  52. :

I am back with a review – I noticed that one bottle I have is november 2016 and I have serious concern about the posible reformulation of this beautiful scent. I tested in the same time march 2014 and this new edition (maybe not the last one, who knows) and the longevity was afected, also the composition. It is different, I am sorry to say that. maybe it s just my nose, that s why I want to see if someone here experienced something like this lately. Thank you.

Aqua Amara is the best of the series, and smells like “Fruit Loops”. One should note that, Amara, doesn’t smell anything remotely close to rotten oranges, synthetic, et cetera. The orange notes actually project a fruity or what I would describe as a beautiful “Fruit Loops” type of scent — giving Amara a tropical vibe.
All the hate about Amara not being blind buy worthy, is nonsense, and most likely the talk of people, that are just getting into the “fragrance game” and have limited experience wearing a large variety of fragrances. (This technically isn’t a bad thing).
Amara, is extremely easy to wear, and ideal for spring and summer wear; and truly wearable for most any situations, (work, date, formal, vacation, casual etc).
Amara is also retains the DNA of Aqua Pour Homme. Whereas, you will be able to catch fleeting whiffs of the lovely seaweed note, that really give this series it’s backbone, character, and uniqueness.
    Overall: 10/10

“The Strength of the ocean” the best nick name that i have for this fragrance, that salty air when u go to the beach, that warm, sand smell, acquatic vibe, all in a bottle
Acqua amara is the best in bvlgari acqua line
The performance is very good 8h+, sillage sometimes 4-5h woooow!
A must have fragrance for summer hot days!

A truly masterpiece with a strong NICHE vibe and astonishing performances from Bvlgari. But when genius Jacques Cavallier is involved, there is no question. Mysterious, very strong, the mandarine/orange/patchouli with a little salty vibe and olibanum notes, Aqva Amara is the ultimate summer gem. All the girls asking what the hell is this GORGEOUS smell.. Not the same questions for some Amouages, Pluriel by MFK or Marly. For this one – tones. Ingredients are with a high quality and I suspect a natural fixator because the sillage and longevity are simply incredible. Love it, instantly bought 3 bottles, the prices are very very good for such a product. Try it, have patience with this cooper Armagedon and let you enslaved by an unique, beautiful smell…
9/10 – extremely rare for a Bvlgary, by my side.

Oh the first few minutes of this is awful, there’s just the mandarin note in the opening, but not a pleasant one…. it definitely smells like a cheap air freshener. After a few minutes the mandarin calms down (but you can smell it all along), and the perfume openes up a bit, make place for the white flowery note of the neroli. It’s real fresh, perfect for very hot weather. Good perfume, but not amazing. It is somehow dry and a little sour on me (I have the same problem with Dior Sauvage too). The original is much better. However I can imagine people love this juice. Give it a try.

One of my favorite fragrances, and I highly recommend everyone owning a bottle of. Sadly this fragrance has been discontinued so soon the prices will sky rocket.

This is the longest lasting and probably the best projecting fresh- summer fragrance from my collection. On my skin, performed better then all fresh fragrances.
The scent is absolutely great. Daytime, refreshing, powerful and very summerish.
I wear it only in summer, for me it is a definition for summer vibes… excellent performance, really good scent and very affordable price.
    9/10 GREAT FRAGRANCE

    2nd Review:
Excellent fragrance. The opening is very smooth and natural. Dominant Mandarin Orange and some white floral accords. It stays linear but transitions smoothly to light patchouli base.
Very masculine, pleasant, straightforward and simple yet mysterious.
No ambroxan mess is in here, just beautiful citrus floral patchouli and yet it has superb longevity. It lasts 14 + hrs on my skin with 2+ hrs projection and lasts forever on clothes. When you apply Amara, you will be surrounded by its scent bubble the whole day.
A winner deal for 30$/100 ml, cant go wrong. Solid fragrance that is very underpriced for what it offers. It will always be in my collection although I have owned and tested hundreds of fragrances.
    Please Get it.

i tried 2 samples of bulgari acqua amara. close to the skin smells like rotten oranges, quite disgusting. BUT….
… the sillage of this fragrance is very gorgeous, it reminds me the beach and the sea in a hot windy day. it’s one of the most daring fragrance for summer, masculine and refreshing. very good performance for this interesting fragrance, it’s on my “want” list now. provatelo, un profumo non banale.

One of the most unique aquatics I’ve smelled. You would be hard-pressed to find another aquatic that smells like this.
Having said that, this is NOT a safe blind buy. This is too daring a fragrance to wear in situations like the workplace where you will be in close quarters. I foolishly tried that one day and I could tell I was annoying the woman who works next to me every time I sent a waft her way.
I remember seeing or reading somewhere that some describe this as having a harsh floor-cleaner smell. Sadly it can give off that vibe, especially the opening and well into the first couple of hours. For those first hours, it smells harsh up close – but probably smells better in the air where one can pick up the orange and the smooth incense.
In the drydown, this fragrance becomes safe – mostly just get that smooth sexy incense with a little of the fruitiness from the mandarin/neroli.
Bottom line = this is not a safe fragrance to wear indoors and where you will be in close quarters; if you’ll be out and about like outdoors or in a mall, etc, sure give it a shot.
    6/10

Very dirty, very marine aquatic, very elegant and also bitter with a blast of madarin in the opening. However, the dry down is just gorgeous.
If you are a little bit daring and bold. This is one of the highly deserved fragrances. It smells so so amazing and girls love it.
    For me: 9/10

    A real Aquatic
with a good dose of Patchouli
reminds me of Matière Noire by LV
    ..
And I found it was made by the same Nose
    (was it a coincidence! I don’t know)
