As a Scot, I admit to being a bit sceptical when I saw there was a perfume inspired by Scotland by not designed by a Scot. My worry was that it would be twee somehow. Well, I stand corrected because it’s lovely and I was very wrong.
Sold as a unisex fragrance, to my nose this is more masculine than feminine, but I’ve still very much enjoyed wearing it several times.
This really does smell “Scottish”. The treatment of the woody accords along with the patchouli offers a uniquely peat-y scent; one very distinct to Scotland. The whisky doesn’t become too pungent, remaining in the background instead as a whiff of malt.
This is a rugged, yet romantic scent. I have to say, if a man walked passed me wearing this, I would certainly take notice!
Moderate sillage, pretty great longevity (I get about 6-7 hours out of it).
Just one tiny complaint about the blurb here – please call it “whisky” and not “whiskey”. It’s how we Scots spell the thing we invented and since Scotland is the inspiration, the correct spelling would be great.

I love this perfume but i do not know how to express it, it smells a blast of whisky when sprayed then unfold with all the notes mentioned above and maybe more…i would not say that it come as one notes for all but it is more like do, re, mi …..in a half beat…it is different..unlike others i have smelled…i thought it would be another whisky like fragrance or something similar but it is a different though….difficult to discern…then i love the smell as it settled down, a comforting scent..like being cuddled by a guardian, a father or grand father etc, i do not know how to explain it except that it will be one of my favorites…one thing for sure after a few hours( maybe 6 hours ), i cannot smell it but my wife can…she wants it for herself…but regrettably i cannot give it to her…it is another limited edition too..
