The inaugural release, “These Sinful Three” features fragrances which will contain (among others) notes of “grown-up vices”. “Vanilla Opi-oud” (represented by Lucrezia Borgia) features opium and amaretto, “Blood Cherry Cordial” (represented by Elizabeth Bathory) features cognac and “AppleRum and Jasmine” (represented by Anita Berber) features rum” — press release of the brand. As a primer to this collection, I strongly believe that the artistic expression here was something more along the lines of “These Three Stank A** H**s”. As in a collection of fragrances that represent one of three call girls, each of which whom possess a distinctly undesirable feature about them. The artistic expression then places you as the recipient, whom after having paid in-full upfront now has to figure out what to do with their unpleasant company.
Upon my initial impression, I would suggest that the unpleasant attribute of our lady AppleRum and Jasmine would be a stale ass. The aromatic arrangement is deep, musky, and especially stale smelling. Even the florals and fruity notes project with an unenjoyable adulterated pungent cloak over them, as though a cheap attempt was made to cover up a foul odor. Nothing about it is enjoyable. Even without the murkiness, this would still be nothing more than a boring stale floral; lacking body, depth, and even the slightest amount of interest to it.
