Oh boy oh boy.. I almost had a scent-gasm when I smelled this lol This is exactly what I’ve been looking for for a really long time! It makes me proud of Burberry and happy for them somehow; now they finally have a scent that speaks for men who wears Burberry, a masculine British sophistication. I really wanted to drop the money on the spot but realized the price and the size is really unnecessary—I’m hoping in the near future they’ll have 100ml (for 1/4-1/3 cheaper) or 75ml (for 40-50% cheaper); also, I feel like my initials would ruin the bottle and mess up the resale value.. They told me if I don’t want any letter, it’d just be a giant space above the logo (Have they thought this through?? Why can’t they just print the cute little Equestrian Knight as an alternative?), so I think I’ll just wait for them to come to their senses.
Oh but there’s more; later that day I went to compare this to Krigler’s Established Cognac 66, and found that one much more enjoyable since this one had dried down to a mostly cedar-like scent :/ I’ll compare them again at a closer time frame.
*The 10% concentration is boozier & smokier while the 35% is denser woodier with detectable “oud”

Usually not a big fan or Burberry fragrances, but this one may be right up my alley. I’ll test this one when I come across it for sure.
