Interesting little scent. At first I get a tangy citrus blast of lime. But within’ minutes I’ve got musk and sandalwood blending in. These 3 notes dance quite strongly for a quite a while and blend in excellent proportions. I’m not a big citrus fan, yet this one works well I think most likely due to some really good choices and expert blending. It isn’t long before the Vanilla and jasmine catch up and join the dance, once again displaying expert blending. It certainly makes it’s presence known, a treat in this day of watered down, barely there before it’s gone, circus of fragrances that promise great things with wonderful scents only to be gone before you can consider them a friend. I found no chemical or cheap vibe during the whole experience and can safely chock this up to another well researched and thankful blind buy. Recommended!. I agree with some others, this is not a fruity floral imo, it’s an Oriental Floral (If floral at all since what floral there is gives way to the oriental notes pretty early).

I wanted to like this…It reminded me of my Kate Walsh Boyfriend perfume initially, just smelling from the bottle and getting a men’s cologne vibe. But this perfume dries down and all I get is musk, musk, and musk! And maybe some powder. This perfume reminds me a lot of something my grandma wears, called Belara from Mary Kay. Looking at Belara’s listed notes, they are very similar to Temptation, so I guess this is why. This is a nice perfume, but not for me. I saw that someone likened it to ici perfume, but I used to have ici and I definitely don’t think personally that Temptation is similar, although both are musky perfumes.

Wow I love this beautiful scent. Lovely deep notes that can all be detected and blend well. It’s sexy and modern one of my new favorites. Can’t believe the price of this smells so expensive and high end.

This is somewhat in the vein of Narciso (white bottle) But much sweeter, with a dab of pear. The gardenia is not as strong and the sweet creamy vanilla is very prominent but the musk is definitly the stand out. And this isn’t skin musk like Narciso this is DIRTY musk. I love it. If you like the idea of a sweet creamy fruity floral with strong skanky musk then you’ll really enjoy this. The silage and longevity are great, I highly recommend to those who were disappointed by the performance of Mad Potion which this also slightly reminds me of.

I get no florals except *maybe* a hint of something white like gardenia or jasmine… maybe. The rest is all animalic musky vanilla and sandalwood, on my skin, which is just fine with me. This is my kind of comfort scents, along the lines of Obsession or Coty Vanilla Musk or Guess Original… musky, woody vanilla. I agree with other reviewers who say that the pink bottle could not be more wrong for this fragrance. Animale Temptation is no masterpiece, but it is nice enough to satisfy a craving for something warm and musky, at an incredibly low price point. It’s practically free.

A musky, somewhat fruity fragrance. Not for the faint of heart. It reminds me of the fragrances from the 80’s. The fruity note makes the first appearance. During the drydown, the musk comes into play. This a nice everyday fragrance. It has a dry, somewhat sour quality, but not bad.

This scent may be for someone but not me. It is musky in unpleasant sort of way. It’s the only scent that scared me so bad I had to wash it off immediately. Foul.

Not bad- not great. Pretty innocuous. It does start out very “My first after shave cologne” but it mellows- I don’t get the fruit, wish I did. For me its mostly musk, sandalwood and vanilla. I can sense the florals, but not any specific one. It also has a spicy component for me. Don’t see myself wearing this really except in a “wear every perfume” challenge.

Awesome blind buy! Love how it starts out masculine sharp. In a few minutes, the florals peek out. And then finally it cools down to the woods. You really have to know what your likes and dislikes are and together with reviews, you can get lucky and hit on a blind buy. Got this EDP from EBay for less than 10 bux, with shipping. Yay!

My sister has this fragrance and I loved to smell it on her at first, it had a floral yet musky enticing scent that fit her character. However, one night she spritzed this before going out, leaving me and my niece in the same room. I got up sometime in the night and wow! that “Animale” sucked all the air out of the room.
I was tempted to panic and move the child, but she slept so soundly I just couldn’t, so I stayed there with “Animale” cloying, no clawing, at my nostrils. The musk can be overpowering in an enclosed area so don’t use too much. Otherwise I think its a night fragrance and definitely tempting, sensual and musky. Do not, I say, over-spray!!!!

Im finding this very strange, but to me this smells like hypnotic poison… Thats a good thing because this perfume is so cheap compared to that lol. It also smells kinda exotic and thats sexy. I really like this perfume! I wasnt sure about it at first but now i really enjoy it 🙂

I received a bottle of Animale Temptation in a swap through here and it’s very nice. What struck me immediately I smelled it was that it smells very much like Krazy Krizia perfume, which amazed me because I think Krazy Krizia is very unique smelling! Animale Temptation is a warm, cosy, sweetish, creamy perfume and has excellent staying power. It definitely smells feminine but to my nose there’s also something a bit masculine about it, which may be the sandalwood, so it might work on some men as well as on a woman’s skin. On my skin it lasts for 24+ hours which is pretty good! I agree with the reviewer below who said it’s not really a fruity floral. It doesn’t smell floral or fruity to me but probably more gourmand, if anything. I really like it and it definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

careful…It blasts musk and lemon before everything. After the shock the other actors come by all together and start a crazy dance and you will wanna dance too. It’s very exciting. I can’t sit if I wear this one. I recommend it for those days you are down and need to jump and energize, because you have lots of things to do. I ‘m figuring out about this name TEMPTATION . It really temptates you.
In the end, the TEMPTATION gets tired and rests in a soft white cloud…
It’s interesting to have this one, considering the price.
Be ligh handed if wearing during the day.

This is an amazing scent!! It is perhaps a bit strong for all occassions, but it is wonderful. Sandalwood very nice throughout, but first impression more floral, all three there. Very good longevity, and for me personally, one of the very few EDPs that dont make me want to gag (I usually prefer EDTs). Thumbs Way uP!
