Angry Birds is a lovely cheapie
Yes this scent is not going to blow your mind because besides being cheap, it’s also quite simple. Air-Val International is probably one of the lesser known and most underrated fragrance companies in the world.
They are based in Spain and although they have some very fine quality fragrances for adults, they specialize mostly in fragrances for children.
This one does not smell like it would be suitable to children.
It is a fruit flavored citrus, oranges, mandarin, grapefruit and bergamot. Pure citrus at the first spritz, refreshing and deep.
It’s neither masculine nor feminine in nature and can be worn by both sexes as a tonic and energizing pick-me-up scent to start your day.
The citruses are very nice.
There is a touch of spice and wood that smells more along the vein of a guy’s cologne so while this is selling as a unisex, on me it smells more like a guy’s cologne.
The woods and spices are a bit stronger than the citrus at the dry down and reminds me of woodsy dry downs in men’s colognes.
That doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy this fragrance as a woman.
Overall it’s pretty good.
The packaging and design is cute although I’m not familiar with any Angry Birds logo. There are other flankers including Angry Red Birds and Stella which I’ve never tried.
Yellow Birds is a fine citrus based cologne with a woodsy dry down. Aromatic, citrusy and sharp, with a medicinal like quality and a simplicity and mellowness.
I think it’s beautiful.
