This is so tart and juicy, I love it! New favorite! As if my favorite doesn’t change every other day.. that’s okay though! That’s what keeps the hobby interesting 🙂
This opens with a burst of cranberry, lemon, and tea.. fresh and zingy.. the same green tea note that Elizabeth Arden Green Tea has. In fact, Le Secret really could be yet another Green Tea flanker.. a cranberry limeade/lemonade version. It settles into a thick, warm musk that adds a lot of depth and feels satisfying for this fragrance.
Just a very enjoyable scent, I love it far more than I thought I would. I’m a big fan of Ange ou Demon and this is incredibly different in notes and vibe but very beautiful in its own right.
For this type of fragrance I would expect a light, faint presence, especially on my perfume-eating skin.. for me, projection and longevity is an issue with many fragrances, which can be frustrating. Le Secret is quite strong, surprisingly…it really blooms and flourishes with body heat. Long-lasting and loud!

I used to really enjoy this fragrance when I first bought it. It was unique. Floral, citrus and a lovely tea note. Longevity on me was 6-8 hours.
I made the mistake of wearing this once during my morning sickness phase of my pregnancy. Now every time I smell this perfume I get extremely nauseated and a headache. I tried putting it away for a while so that I could fall in love again but no…
Unfortunately, this is going on my sell/swap list.

I wish i could find it cheaper somewhere. I absolutely adore this perfume but haven’t seen it anywhere since my dad gifted it to me back in 2011 or so. Now i just discovered it but its pricey. It may not be the best of perfumes but it has a lot of nostalgia attached to it.
It smells beautiful and sophisticated. I guess i loved the green tea and cranberry combo which gave it a sweetness but it wasn’t sickenly sweet. I dont really know how to differentiate flowers yet lol but there was definitely florals in this that just wrapped up this exquisite package beautifully. I can’t remember how good the sillage was though…
Update: I was wondering, would it make more sense to just get the le secret elixir for longevity or not?
Do they smell very much alike?

I remember picking up a mini bottle of this at a Beales Outlet once years ago and I thought it smelled very mature and awful. I can’t believe from looking at the notes here that it was the same scent. (Citrus? Tea? Patchouli?) from the notes listed, I should love it! I would really like to try this again now to see if I still feel the same about it. I’m too afraid to blind buy it but would love to swap for it if anyone is interested.
UPDATE: I finally swapped for a bottle with a lovely Canadian fragrantican.
I don’t see much similarity with the original which I absolutely adore, but I also don’t dislike it as much this time around. It is a little sharp (and tart!) at first but it does settle down. It’s a nice fresh tea with berries and patchouli, not too green or aquatic or ozonic or any of those other things I usually dislike about “fresh” scents. Maybe won’t love it as much as the original but I think I will wear it a lot this summer, it’s a perfect hot weather patchouli.

I think this is what is known as a fruitchouli. Super fruity and too much of a sweet bomb. Headache inducing with a sharp, synthetic opening. Hard pass.

Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy to most but this, to me smells very similar to Miss Dior Cherie. How or why I have not a clue. I own both so I know them both well. Wondering if I am perhaps not alone in this comparison

I get lots of cranberries with a bit of zesty lemon and patchouli. Very fruity and sweet frag. I kinda liked the opening but once it settled, it all got too synthetic for me.
Sorry, but it’s a no from me.

I wonder why people share flankers of the same scent in ‘reminds me of’ section. It leaves no space for other smell alike scents.

An almost sickly sweet scent, very reminiscent of the Stella by Stella McCartney perfume, but less heavy and instead fresher and lighter.
The pink color is very fitting as it reminds me of cotton candy and what it might smell like. Combined with citrusy notes and the slightest hint of tea it makes for a perfume verging on the edge of being too much, but it still manages to stay sophisticated.
I have not seen marketing for this perfume in europe, but have seen marketing in the middle east – and it makes sense as it is very sweet and has an incense quality to it. As mentioned it shares the sickly sweet scent of peony with the stella perfume, but the tea and middle eastern notes makes for a more refined experience and makes it less suffocating, creating a middle and top that stands out as an contrasting edge to a heavy overwhelming base. You definitely smell feminine and it could quickly become a bit too much. I used to wear it when I was younger and dressed very masculine as an extreme contrast.
Even though it smells so sweet it also reminds me of old books and parchment, perhaps it smells a bit like that scented stationary that was once popular.
This perfume is cotton candy and old parchment for the sophisticated woman who is über feminine.

Discovered this perfume by accident and fell in love with it. The first note has an apple note to it but this changes. It has clear top notes of tea and cranberry which blend beautifully with each other Actually the name is rather unsuitable! The middle notes emerge after half an hour and the smell gets more rounded. This is the kind of perfume which is suitable for work, during the day and even for the night. I got the full 100 ml bottle so I intend to enjoy using it as much as possible 😉

Im wearing Hello Beauty by La Rive now, not yet listed on Fragrantica – notes are:
TOP NOTES: lemon, black currant, green tea
HEART NOTES: jasmine, water lilly, raspberry, peony
BASE NOTES: white musk, cedarwood, patchouli.
So no cranberry, but black currant instead and added note is raspberry and musk. Possible dupes.
I think its close to Ange Ou Demon, might be softer(better to me lol). Hello Beauty also has the same vibe with Mon Jasmin Noir L’exquise, its softer tho and lots of lemon, no almond – they belong in the same spicy, citrusy green tea family. Im a sucker for Tea, musky woody perfumes. If you like this, ull like Hello Beauty, bought mine for 12 bux.. crazy price, so I go all out without feeling im minus 5 bux at each spray haha.

Hmm this smells exactly like Victoria’s Secret Love is Heavenly & Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Summer & Tropical & Exotic. Almost the same notes as well. It’s nice and something easy for shiny warmer spring and summer days. Fresh, clean, semi-sweet, pretty and preppy!

Fresh, fruity, not too sweet, this scent is for young, feminine, elegant girl. I thought I would never find my signature until smelling it from my friend. Now I’m obsessed with this one and dying to buy a full-size. After getting a spray from my friend, i think both the longevity and sillage are pretty good. Because kind of a floral (-fruity?) scent, I didn’t expect too much. About the name, there’s no “demon” in it 😛

I just received my sightly used (98% full) bottle of Ange ou Etrange Le Secret EDP today and I am overjoyed! First of all, it smells exactly the same as the 2009 Ange ou Demon Le Secret EDP (according to the batch code it was made in 2010!) which is the scent I was actually looking for, NOT the 2014 version, and secondly… I only paid $11 for it. The lady just had it forever and never used it and NOW IT’S MINE!!!
SO. “Ange ou Etrange?” you ask? Well, apparently in some countries, people just aren’t into buying things with words like demon or devil or satan on them, which perfectly makes sense, so it says Etrange instead. I verified this on a few websites just in case this lady was trying to sell me a fake.
Anyway, I guess I should probably talk about the scent now! It’s the same as I remember it when it first came out. A very slightly grassy green tea with notes of a barely-sweet bitternes of grapefruit skin, like that scent it makes when you snap the peeled skin into smaller peaces? It might be (whatever chemicals that represent) lemon+cranberry+jasmine all combining together to give that impression. After a few hours, it settles into a soft cinnamon-y red tea skin scent.
One more thing I can say is don’t overspray. 1-2 is more than enough. And when you spray, don’t immediately shove your nose in it because you’ll get an alcohol bomb. Just leave it alone for 30-45 seconds.
Last one more thing: I love this because besides being a perfume freak, I also have tea issues, which explains why I had to hunt down the original 2009 version of this thing. (The green tea offerings from other perfume houses just weren’t right.) So I’d say don’t blind buy. At least smell the 2014 version and then mentally delete certain notes. If you love all the Ange ou Demon flankers though then go for it.
And finally: OMG I HAVE IT AT LAST! YAY!

I have been thinking about this fragrance for months and finally I now own a 10 mil bottle. It did not disappoint! This scent is more of the tea , maybe a 60% of the composition, definitely the tea is there and so is the cranberry, well maybe a good 30% of the scent, and a 10% for any citrus if there was.. . Sillage is moderate and this lasts around 3 hours on me. Not really bad but not outstanding either. Would I purchase the big bottle..? I’m really not sure though.
    A nice daytime scent, I’d give it a 3.9 out of a 5.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

Basically if you like the general idea of Flowerbomb Victor&Rolf, but hate the surypy sweetness it has, you can try Le secret flanker and you will not be disappointed, in my opinion.
Green? Are you kidding me? Nothing green here, or I must be testing a wrong perfume, sorry. Fresh and citrusy, yes. Overall, this is a very good blend of fruit and floral. Very balanced feminine scent. The right amount of sweet, not a sugar bomb, but just enough.
Drydown: imagine that you’re drinking a fruity tea with some sugar-lemon candy thingies that we throw somethimes in the tea instead of sugar or lemon. Dries soft and balmy. Now this is not anything groundbreaking, but worthy of a sniff… similar perfumes that come to my mind are Eau Tendre Chanel and Eros Pour Femme Versace, which of course is far more sugary.
Sweet done right. A yes from me

I wanted to love this so badly, but I am reminded of my childhood hamster and how she always smelled like cedar wood chips. That’s what this smells like to me. 🙁 🙁 🙁

EDIT: Apparently other people around me could smell this. They acknowledge that i’m wearing perfume and they said i smell very nice. Hahaha really don’t know what is wrong with my nose
Too soft, i barely could smell this 🙁
Got this as a vial, i really need to dab it quite a lot if i want to smell it. Otherwise i almost smell nothing.
This such an unfortunate because Ange ou Demon Le Secret actually a beautiful scent. Is it because of the name Le Secret that we can hardly smell anything?
In a very short time which i could smell the scent, i got the white flowers, jasmine and green tea leaves. Very well blended. And i also got the lemon a bit before all gone..
Really really sad because this could be a very beautiful scent if only we could smell it

I just gor this amazing scent! I totally LOVE it! It’s fresh but sweet yet floral. Sensual but serious and sophisticated at the same time.I just can’t get enough of it.Same category as Bright Crystal from Versace. I can say that I’m a fan of Givenchy’s fragrances now I have 4 perfume of this house and love them all. Thank You Givenchy for the most amazing perfumes!!

  21. :

    3 out of 5

Fresh and soothing, the scent is just like an iced cranberry tea.
It’s juicy, but not too sweet. The prominent tea note and the citrus there surely give a refreshing and vibrant aspect to the fragrance. The floral notes give a feminine side to the fragrance too but above all I would say Ange our Demon Le Secret is carefree and cheerful.
It’s been my go to fragrance for summer on those sunny and hot days that I wanted something cool and lightly sweet. However, I must say the staying power is better in spring or at the beginning of autumn. I’ve never got more than 3 and a half or 4 hours of longevity, but that’s what I usually get on these kind of fragrances.
To my surprise, it’s one of my most complimented perfumes, compliments coming from both men and women. “Lovely” is the adjective they mostly used. 🙂

I have the initial version of this gem. So sad it was reformulated!!! I still have some of it left. I had a 100ml bottle of it, but lost a box. So I decanted it into atomizer, and put it away from the elements, use it only on special occasions. Ridiculous as it sounds, I still keep the bottle, do not ask me why.
It is long lasting, around 10 hours on me.
Starts with cranberry, lemon and tea.
    It’s almost mouthwatering.
I can fill the sourness, bitterness and the sharpness of the cranberries, the real forest berries. Have you ever tried one???
It is so well blended into patch-jasminy goodness, that I can name them (patch and jasmine) THE base notes.
I can vouch for the staying power of this juice.
    Then again, people are different.
For example, Shalimar does not stay on me more than 30 min, and the only note I get is Leather from the Perfume version , and Bergamot from everything else in the line.
    Maybe I’m a Jasmine person.

  23. :

    5 out of 5

Really surprised that so many people mark its longevity as very low. On me it lasts the whole day! Not so intensive as in the begin, but it’s still there. Furthermore, a lot of other perfumes smell on me not long at all and then I think “oh how I wish this would last as long as AOD does!”
It’s really one of the kind. The one you recognize out of thousand. The combination of tea, citrus, cranberry, jasmine makes it outstanding. Very light and fresh, without any single not of heaviness. Lovely, easy to wear and safe (but don’t use too much, for me 1-2 sprays are more than enough).

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Such a fresh, delicate and lovely scent. It’s so well blended that the notes form a perfect composition without any of them being overpowering. It’s definitely a romantic perfume in my opinion, worn for a nightdate with a white little dress and minimal make up, just rosy cheeks and lip shimmer, somewhere near the sea, where you can hear the beach waves hitting the seaside and why not even dabble the feet. If I had to choose between ange ou demon, which one best represents the scent I would say it’s ange. The bottle is quite elegant but I’m afraid the staying power on skin or clothes isn’t of the best out there, and considering the high price it comes with I’m not sure I would like to spend my money for it, at least for now.

I am in very deep love with it…but unfortunately the lasting power is so poor that i refused buying it…
So disapointing…what a pity, such a great smell has such a poor lasting power.
It smells like heaven.so clean, fresh. I can’t describe it well. It is one of the best perfumes i have ever smelled.
Well done with the smell Givenchy.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

I get a very light citrus tea and soft floral. Fresh, just showered scent. Certainly no mysteriousness or sexiness in this one.
L: Very low (I got about 15 mins out of it)
    S: Kidding right?
Sorry Givenchy.. I need far more bang for my buck than this…

Goodness! I have a sample vial of this., hated it at first. There came a period in my life when my peaceful life crumbled. Because of this, I developed a dark and demonic side just like this perfume. Now I’m so addicted to it it’s intoxicating I can’t live without this. Got to get a full-sized bottle asap. Going to try perfumes on this line too.

  29. :

What a bright, blissful scent! This is the happiest fragrance I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. Sour wine gums in the opening, but far from childish, delectable cranberry tea follows. Lovely, just lovely.

  30. :

    4 out of 5

this one is very sour on me, and baby powder-ish. lasted for 4 hours or more, but didn’t like any level of it.

  31. :

    3 out of 5

This is such a pretty fragrance. It’s fresh, floral, citrus notes make it a perfect daytime scene, but it has a sexiness to it that makes it perfect to wear at night too.
This is a perfume I’ll definitely continue to repurchase.

  32. :

This is beautiful I’m hit with magnolia and I just love it. Citrus opening with a clean fragrance developing. It reminds me more of amarige than angel or demons. Love it.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

I really love this one. It has that lovely leathery scent to it on my skin. I’d say the sillage isn’t really to the point of offensive. It’s close to the skin on me. I wish it had more of a presence to it but I still enjoy it I reach for it every so often. I spritz it on my pillow before bed and it leaves my hair smelling nice in between shampoos.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I liked this! Very fresh, but also fruity. I smell red fruits, which must be due to the cranberry note. I’d buy this for a teenager…it is light and inoffensive. It is mainly citrus and I don’t really smell tea. The fruits are in the background, but still distinguishable. I’m happy it doesn’t have the strong cedar note that most citrus perfumes like Light Blue, Bright Crystal, and Aqua di Gioia have. This is one of the best summer scents out there. Very flirty. Lovely.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

Very soft and discreet, but it’s still a nice sweet, floral perfume. It’s funny how this one is so nice to my nose, while the original Ange ou Demon gives me an instant headache with just a sniff… the sweetness in there is just too much. Between this and Le Secret Elixir, I’d spend my money on the latter – Elixir is much more special.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I have had this perfume for a couple of years. Before it seemed a bit fresher to me. When I smell or wear it now- it is pure syrup. It smells like thick sugary substance made of fruits. The base notes are noticeable also. I rarely wear it now, usually during colder weather so it won’t seem even more sweet and intense.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

it starts very fruity very young , then it mellows to a clean very mildly powdery white floral , is ok , is very wearable , very polite , but there a tons of other perfumes that are clean and polite , not worth buying for me but if i get one as a present i would totally use it.
    sillage is none existent

  38. :

I’m really surprised that sour in not listed in the type list. I LOVE this one, along the lines of the sour/fruity scents in the Anna Sui line, Dolly Girl in particular.
Update: Close enough to Anna Sui Fairy Dance Secret Wish, I may not neet to buy this.

  39. :

So feminine, fresh and romantic kinda perfume.❤

  40. :

    4 out of 5

Love this, another reviewer was spot on when she mentioned the word “cheeky”… This is fresh, feminine, and innocent off first whiff, but let it hang around, there’s something kinda naughty hovering right beneath the surface. Like that innocent fresh-faced girl in the office with her simple white blouse and pencil skirt on… And some kinky ass lingerie right underneath. The scent flirts softly, only mouths “come-hither” while others demand it out loud. Wear this to the office everyday or wear it to bed with your lover… I think it’ll please either way.

  41. :

I think i figured out the ‘secret’.
You’re supposed to flip the ‘u’ upsidedown and place it in front of the ‘o’ so it reads ‘Ange no Demon’…because that’s a much more apt name for this.
It’s so sweet and linear, the misnomer is almost frustrating!
Expect NO sillage from this and longevity is a joke! Waste of a gorgeous bottle.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

THIS IS GORGEOUS! Fresh, sweet, slightly powdery, spicy.
Amber&Honey, Lemon, Talc, Red and Black pepper just a tiny bit.
Lasting power on clothing= all day
    On skin= 4 hour

  43. :

    4 out of 5

I like it, but citrus and tea is just not my scent. It’s a little too wholesome for me. Ange ou Demon? No question. This is all ange, no demon.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

You think this is delightful and cheeky now?! Try layering it with some men’s fragrances! Yummy, and definitely more of the “demon” aspdct. 😉

  45. :

    4 out of 5

Beautiful bottle beautiful top note! I am miserable because it lasts 15 minutes on me. Maybe because of hot humid weather?
Edit: in cooler and drier weather, it does last an hour or two. But I get more tea while in hotter weather I get more lemon.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

I have had this sitting unopened for possibly a year. Today Easter Bank Holiday Monday with the sun out is the day I decide I have to test.
Its initial spray was zesty citrus with other fruits mainly. However I was within 20 minutes wrapped in the most gorgeous smell ever – I can only describe it as a silk flowered cloak. I could see me wearing this to a variety of places… Work, lunch or even just by the pool on holiday sipping a margarita!
Sillage is good, longevity good – 5 hrs later I can still smell it, my daughter keeps hugging me x so reasonable rating for both.
I can see this being a favourite for me, i would rebuy!
More ou demons need to be tested me thinks?
The notes in Ange ou demon le secret elixir peaks my interest!

  47. :

I love le Secret! I am energized smelling it. It feels flirty and alluring, cheeky, naughty. Yesterday, with this scent on, I envisioned Amy Winehouse in a low rider somewhere in Los Angeles county with the top rolled down on a hot LA day. Or some scene out of practically any Quentin Tarantino film, think Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction — kind of fit for a bad girl, the one who’ll steal the man from the boring ass skank wearing Juicy Couture.

Ange Ou Demon Le Secret Givenchy comes across sharp and cold. It would suit a mature lady in a hot summer day. I personally prefer other Ange de Givenchy. Those who are warmer and welcoming.

  49. :

Very beautiful top and middle notes. Young and joyful scent for a summer day.
However, too much patchouli base makes my skin smell very masculine. I would love this best without the base notes

  50. :

i used this perfume from november 2014 to january 2015,basically during the summer here in Mauritius and let me just say that this is lovely and classy.the tea note is very present in this scent but it is very smooth and nicely done.the cranberry brings a wonderful zing to this perfume and the end result is a freshness which is feminine and classy.

  51. :

Mmm, reminds me of a glass of pink lemonade on a summer’s day. Tangy, sweet, refreshing. A little bit mouthwatering. For awhile I thought I didn’t like this perfume, but now I know I just wasn’t wearing it correctly. For me, this is a perfume that must be worn on the skin to reach its full potential. Before, when I was spraying it more on my clothes, it would get too sharp and almost overripe-smelling. But when I apply it on my skin, particularly warmer regions like knees/wrists, it develops SO much better and turns into a lovely bright fruity floral that isn’t too anything. Nicely balanced, tangy but also relatively soft, and pleasant. I can see myself wearing this a lot in the summer. So glad I gave this perfume another chance!

  52. :

It is a sexy unique smell and not heavy. And luckily it is not very popular between women 🙂

Just got a full size bottle of this with my scent certificate at Sephora and I am in love! It smells absolutely beautiful. I feel like it can be worn anytime. I never would have been able to afford this if it weren’t for that scent certificate! I’m going to use it very sparingly because it’s so good!

  54. :

I adore this fragrance. The perfect day scent for me, very fresh and citrusy. Very underrated and forgotten about, but such a classic. I was really surprised when I first tried this. Definitely one I want to purchase. It’s spring in a bottle.

  55. :

    3 out of 5

Ange ou Demon Le Secret is a fruity floral fragrance with a sophisticated and unique edge. It is beautifully feminine and distingishable from other fragrances. A sharp note is present at first spray, which eventually softens into a beautiful flower accord. At the base, a fruity woodsy note is left over. This fragrance is worthy of being a signature scent for someone who enjoys floral perfumes. However, those who get headaches should be aware that this fragrance has the potential to trigger them. Also, the perfume does not possess much lasting power, so it is advisable to apply an unscented lotion on skin prior to use.
    Uniqueness 4/5
    Lasting Power 3/5
    Overall Scent 4/5

  56. :

Cranberry at first, then Lemon Tea (lots and lots of lemon tea)….that’s about all I get from it….and it is soft and weak. 4 hours in, I’m getting woody flowers…but I really gotta push my wrist into my nose to smell it, what a shame, it’s lovely. Was hoping for more.

  57. :

This is definitely a fresh fragrance; that is an absolutely perfect way to describe it. Oh and beautiful. I have always loved scents with green tea in them and there are so few that are actually of good quality. I’m so glad I finally found this! I was recommended so many different frags with a tea note in them but they either didn’t last, didn’t smell of tea, or didn’t smell good at all. Finally, a wonderful sales woman (well she was actually more of a fragrance expert) in a little boutique in Key West recommended this to me and I’ve been in love ever since. It is the best and most high quality rendition of a fresh green tea/citrus scent in my opinion.

  58. :

I smelled this for the first time when I received a free sample from Sephora, on holiday in Paris. This perfume is a beautiful blend of class and femininity, which I am in love with. I find the Jasmine, peony and tea notes are the strongest, with only a suggestion of the berries, but that may just be me 🙂 definitely something I would buy again!

It started off with Lemon and Green tea. Those hit me first. Before the white flower…floral hit I got. But its the drydown that I love! Splendid. The Patchouli dances with Jasmin and the nuances of Green tea lingers. Well made. Intriguing just like Uma Thurman.

I’m confused by this scent. I have been wearing it for weeks and cannot identify with it. It doesn’t smell like anything I know, which is probably why it doesn’t evoke any particular emotion or sensation. It smells good- it is a sweet and watery scent with a little bit of tartness, so it is cool and refreshing for the hot summer days. I just wish it had a little more substance and depth, more presence, a more serious base. The lightness and superficiality makes me think it is better suited for someone in their early 20s or younger.

Very strawberry-soapish on me. Pleasant but no more…I cannot associate this perfume with any special events or feelings, just good quality unoffensive scent i can use everywhere. No head-turner.

I’ve gotten so many compliments on this perfume. Everyone I know is quite impressed with it. I also enjoy it every once in a while. I have to be in the right mood. It smells a little young, but not so much as to put you off.

Tea with lemon- just the way I like it!
BTW, this is one of the few fragrances that I’ve smelled lately with patchouli that keeps it nice and subtle.

Exactly as Ansamo said, wow! This is just wow!
I love the smell. It’s cold here due to rainy season + air con and the smell feels smooth and warm, homey and cuddly. But also somewhat sweet and a little floral-ish.
I wouldn’t categorize it as fresh – it’s not what came to my mind when I smell it, it’s more warm and cuddly than fresh.
I really really love this. I just received this one from an online purchase and for the price, I’m so so glad it works. Can’t stop sniffing myself (secretly) lol..
    Top shelf quality.
I think I better stock up in this one.

Beautiful scent. Very classy and feminine. It slightly reminds me of Omnia Indian Garnet. A gorgeous fresh floral. Recommended.

Sprayed in a very small quantity, I was pleasantly surprised.
Although this is a rather generic scent, it’s a very nice, if a little synthetic, fruity-floral.
It starts with a nice, not too heavy white floral wave, and the dry down is more of a subtle, close to the skin fruity type (I’m surprised at the amount of lovely cranberries I get from it).
Not offending for everyday wear, and not as heavy as the original, this is a rather safe choice, IMHO.
Yet, since I can’t make out anything really remarkable of it, not FB worth for me.

Sparkling, refreshing, transparent, joyful yet elegant and expensive!
I think it has almost nothing in common with the regular “Ange ou Demon” (except that curvy, captivating vibe which hugs you and keeps you close to it). This is a quite safe everyday scent, green, sweet, clean naturalistic flowers (I smell a perfectly clean, dewy jasmine) mixed with a strong touch of tea and citruses. Could I smell some light orange blossom too?
I was disappointed because I didn’t get any cranberries, but then, in the drydown… a wonderful, full bodied, juicy cranberry with its inner sun and natural power, a red pearl, a natural jewel. And the base -the patchouli is very light and delightfully wrapped in those sophisticated woodsy notes. Beautiful for summer romance.

This was a blind buy, I liked the concept, the name, the bottle. I think it’s unusual and I definitely like it.
I get a ‘fizziness’ from this, like smelling lemonade or sparkling iced tea. It’s very light, refreshing and feminine. The tea note is very prominent with a tart sweetness, not sugary. Every now and then I feel like I can smell paper?
I find this is a perfect scent for summer, or if you just want to feel clean, fresh and uplifted. It’s not going to offend anyone. The only problem is that it does not last very long at all.

Ange Ou Demon Le Secret has grown on me. I’ve come to really enjoy how different it is. First smell, I cringed. Second smell, I was confused. Third, fourth and fifth smell, I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not. It was just so unusual. I finally decided to give it some time. After using it for a couple weeks, I almost decided to love it, if it only lasted longer than 3 hours on me.
There’s a sweetness that comes from the cranberries, but it’s a confusing kind of “sweet”. It’s not sugary. Really, how sweet is a cranberry? Not very, unless it’s the canned/jellied kind you eat at Thanksgiving, in my opinion.
No vanilla here. There’s also a lemon twang that gives the sweetness a nice twist. Then you throw in the patchouli and wood notes, and that gives it a bit of oomph.
Wowza! I ADORE unique perfumes! The only reason it’s not a love for me (at least right now) is because of the staying power. I HATE having to re-apply perfume during lunch at work, but even so, this only lasts like 2 hours on me. It’s a skin scent. Luckily the bottle is a great size for the price.
Skin scents really make me depressed. My favorite perfumes don’t have to fill a room, but a bit of noticeability and impression would be nice.
