awesome winter fragrance.Could be unisex for sure. Gourmand and comforting for sure. i get some leather in it as well.
The initial smell reminds me of when i was young and the home i grew up in had radiator heat. when the radiators first turn on in winter there is this comforting smell and this fragrance has that but a little coffee smells in there and tonka.Lasts forever.

But dissapointing. Waaay too sweet! I don’t smell any lavender or the other notes listed, just straight syrup. Like frosting that got on your arm and dried there. I’m open minded and I’ll give it a chance again. I’m sure it can grow on me. It does smell better on clothes than my skin I noticed…

After reading reviews, I snagged a 5ml decant of this. Disappointed doesn’t even do this right. Due to being a decant, I don’t know if it was a batch issue, however, I’ll never finish the small amount I have, because it smells like straight Play Doh. Seriously. I can’t be the only one that’s gotten this note. PM me if you’ve had any similar issues.

Cappuccino with caramel syrup. No excessive spices. Just sweet and delicious. I haven’t given it a wear yet but I can already tell this is gonna be amazing. I keep spraying it on my hand and although it’s not nuclear, it seems to have good longevity. I’ll be sure to weigh in on the silage.
I sprayed some on my left hand and my sister said I smell good. “What’s that?” “Is it unisex?”
Smells like Snake Oil by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab without the mild playdough smell it had. I wanted to enjoy it so much but we had a forced relationship. I ended up enjoying it more so on my oil burner..

Very sweet and smooth Tonka, with a very subtle cocoa background that’s hard to notice. It unfortunately doesn’t come off as upscale or well-made, but rather common and not unique.

This one is intriguing – Like most Muglers.
This definitely has the original DNA – Like most Muglers.
Listen, I purchased based on all the recent praise its getting for the colder months. For the record, I hate huge doses of tonka bean. I do like Mandarina Duck Black a lot which is mainly tonka, however.
Having that said, just because the name is “Pure Tonka,” does not mean this is mostly tonka….I honestly didn’t get tonka right away.
Right off the bat I got the original Mugler DNA, with a creamy-coffee sweetness. Deep down the creamy-coffee is a blend of tonka bean, coffee and lavender.
Somewhere in there, I also get a little dirty patchouli to round everything off.
This one is unique. This will be a fun one to wear on the extremely snowy, cold days as I feel its going to thrive in those conditions and slice through the dense, cold air.
Good stuff. Glad to have it.

Pure Tonka is actually a complex fragrance, so the title is a little misleading but of course, as it’s part of Mugler’s “Pure” series, its understandable.
It’s a great blend of coffee, tonka and vanilla in a typical Mugler style but I think that the lavender plays a key role here as it makes the fragrances smell really full and masculine. You can feel facets of roasted almonds and creamy espresso with vanilla undertones.
I really enjoy this scent and the performance is also very good.
    9/10

Pure Tonka ! Here you go: I cannot get minty note that’s written up there. Smells deep , dark, coffee and licorice… like coffee flavored waterpipe tobacco… scent is complex and in same time simple. I can easily get ambergris note after half an hour but unfortunately synthetic ambergris… I think it’s first time for me to see licorice used in a fragrance….yeah why not. Now I cannot understand the guys that wrote this much praise words. I don’t mean it’s bad but It’s too simple for deserve this hype.
Uniqueness 10/10 because of licorice note that I didn’t smell before in a fragrance
    Projection:5/10
    Longevity: 5/10
    Silage: 5/10
    Price 4/10
Versatility: 4/10 because it’s dark and in my opinion it’s just for colder seasons
    Totally 4.8/10

3 sprays all around the neck and your good to go. This has incredible performance in the cold. Sweet and sexy. Enough said.

Blind bought this. Though good, it is an odd one for me. I haven’t experienced something this sweet, dense, and opaque before, and in this way is different than, say, TF noir extreme or tobacco venille.
After about a half hour, I get the edibleness of it. It immediately reminds me of a cold and dreary day in February or March. In the city, there is a fine sleet coming down in the dense, humid air. The snow is dirty and the streets are wet and slushy. Lots of hustle around you, but your energy is low and you take comfort in the warm clothes and cold air.
I’ll have to think about this one.

This is the most modern member in the Amen family scent wise. Also it is the safest and easiest to wear. Better for winter mornings.
Pleasant, cosy and warm with superb performance.
The blend is excellent, roasted coffee and tonka beans with mint chocolate background.

Sadly, Mugler has once again reformulated a fantastic fragrance. I bought one last year before it disappeared from the market, I still have it and it is very strong and long lasting, however, I bought a new one today and evidently it smells completely different; less tonka, and more alcohol, weak projection. Do not buy it, it’s a waste of money. Period

  17. :

    4 out of 5

    After purchase review:
Initial spray it smells so potent and the projection is massive with at least one spray. Then the fragrance progresses into that edible coffee/chocolate/caramel scent that is so gourmand and edible. Now, and here’s my favorite part, after the 12+ mark given that you sprayed on your skin you’re gonna smell praline the same praline & cream scoop you get from baskin robbins (pecan nut as well). This one is the true text book defintion of a flanker. PURE MAGNIFICENCE.

  18. :

Very tarry opening. Never put your nose too close to your spraying point. Initiallly u will detect the smell of chocolate mint mixed with lavendercoffee vanilla altogether.
Upon the heart note , mostly will be lavender coffee vanilla cacao without mint.
Heart note will be vanilla coffee.
    9.5/10

With Pure tonka I genuinely feel I can say well done to Thierry Mugler, what a simply amazing sweat coffee gourmond fragrance this is…
Performance is everything I ask for in a fragrance, strong enough to still garner recognition or compliments a few hours into its life on my skin.
To me this is superior to Pure Havane and Pure Malt simply because it out performs them.
Bravo Mugler this certainly is one of your greats.

this one smells great! massive compliments all day long!it has a very unique scent that stands out from the rest.lasts 10hours easy! the only problem is the spray nozzle on the bottle doesn’t seem to spray well . apart from that i would give this one a solid 8/10 . definitely buy this again. Everything from Mugler kicks!

It’s a cold winter morning in central Lisbon. There is a light drizzle in the air. Lot’s of people rush in all directions to avoid getting wet by the annoying humidity that penetrates their clothes.
Inside the Rossio train station there is an infernal noise of splashing footsteps from people getting in and getting out. It is still to early to care for wandering tourists and the current crowd just wants to arrive on time to their work places and as dry as possible. In the train station Starbucks counter there is a bunch of people hurrying to drink a quick expresso or a slower “galão” (portuguese cappuccino). The front esplanade seeks for carefree customers, but it’s not yet the time for the leisure people that will surely crowd the place from mid morning onwards.
Only one person was sitting in front of one of the round tables. It was a grey haired man, wearing a tweed dark suit and a beige Burberry raincoat. Somehow he really did not seem to fit in that ambiance as probably he was the only person not in a hurry besides myself. I sat in front of a nearby table facing the back of the lone customer. There was a fantastic scent of a yummy cappuccino sweetened by dark sugar and vanilla powder lingering in the air. I just asked the impatient waiter to bring the same for me. For my astonishement he brought me a buttered toast and black tea. Only then I realized that the strong but elegant scent came from the man itself. Somehow that scent felt a lot more appropriated for the foggy wet morning than the fragrance I was wearing. I politely asked the elegant man what perfume he was wearing even if I already suspected of a Mugler signature.
Pure Tonka is a linear but passionate and lively fragrance, with a strong and sweet accord of tonka flourishing from the very opening start till the end of the drydown, blended with coffee and cocoa, and flavoured by vanilla. The gourmand cappuccino aroma is pretty strong, although it starts to faint before the tonka and vanilla duo. Sometimes the cappuccino note seems to be heavier on the coffee side and some other times leans more towards a dark chocolate scent. Well for me a cappuccino scent is all about coffee and cocoa anyway.
Some people claim that there notes of licorice and crème brullè in this fragrance. i just don’t notice them.
However I do feel an heavy sweet presence of dark caramel but it may be just the venezuelan tonka leaving that sweet impression. Another non listed note I sense in this fragrance is tar, a pleasant tar that leaves a smoky trail.
Without any doubts this is an unisex fragrance for me, even if a lavender faint note is present to make it more masculine.
Here is my math for Thierry Mugler’s Pure Tonka:
    Scent Opening: 10.0 (my judgement)
Scent Dry Down: 10.0 (my judgement)
Longevity: 9.0 (2 good sprays may last 8~10 hours)
Sillage: 8.0 (6 feet at its peak with just 2 sprays)
Uniqueness: 9.5 (close to New Haarlem Bond No 9 and a distant cousin of Rochas Men)
Wearability: 8.0 (mainly a mild to cold weather scent; you may use it either in outdoors or indoors, day or night)
Versatility: 7.5 (very sexy, good for leisure, clubbing, socializing, events, restaurants, dates, romancing, intimacy, weaddings,… not good to the office, informal meetings, small spaces, work out, beach and places where you may sweat)
Compliments: 9.0 (This fragrance will please to a wide range of people of both genders; It’s quite a compliment magnet. The number of compliments I received while wearing it today exceeded my expectations)
Quality: 9.0 (Above average quality, good performance, top quality ingredients, nice heavy flask,.. almost perfect but I take 1 point due to one of the lousiest sprayers I have ever experienced)
Presentation: 8.0 (my note for all the A*Men flasks)
    Price: 7.0 (100 ml non tester for € 42 + shipping)
    Overall rating: 8.64/10.00
I recommend this fragrance; it’s a gourmand fragrance with a bit of smokiness and that may please both women and men. I really like it very much.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

Although I agree that this fragrance is more of a mix of pure Coffee, with some Cocoa and tonka added in, I find this the most pleasant and likable of the Amen series.
The tar note makes a showing for a shorter amount of time in the top and blends well with the rest of the fragrance.
I find this a gourmand that is cozy, warm, and provocative. It makes me think of sitting in a dusty cabin , all warm in covers in front of a wood fire, while drinking the deepest, hot chocolate with caramel instead of sugar and coffee dust on top.
Certainly a love and I will be purchasing.
Spring nights and day/night appropriate for fall and winter IMO. Not for the summer.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Pure Tonka is a little misleading as this is not what many would consider a purely tonka scent. It does however smell really really good. It’s a warm spicy licorice cocoa and coffee heavy gourmand with a little of that herbal/fresh/masculine vibe compliments of mint and lavender. I am not a huge lavender fan and don’t understand why it has to be in so many male scents (i think to keep these from going too femme) but I don’t mind it in this one. am a woman that can appreciate a good scent regardless of what gender it is marketed to, and I’m also a huge Mugler fan and the wonderful Mugler DNA is very present in the patchouli. Pure Tonka is one of the best, it blows MJ legend, New Haarlem and Rochas Man out of the water. If you keep being disappointed by coffee scents that don’t smell like coffee, give this a go!

  24. :

    5 out of 5

Yes, tonka, but very much MINT and LAVENDER! Only then comes other notes, from list.
And in the ending of this frag. In my scarf I found some note that my cat used to smell.
And the weirdes thing of it all is, that I’d say: I don’t know but I like it. 🙂

  25. :

    4 out of 5

This fragrance is very unique and very synthetic but I like it. Sweet, cocoa, vanilla, and coffee with a weird wax crayon vibe. Lasts for forever and a day on my skin and projects like crazy. If that sounds like your thing… than go for it.

  26. :

I like this platform because it’s a place where we can all voice our own opinions so that is exactly what I am about to do.
I blind bought this because of all the raving positive reviews. As soon as I received it, I sprayed it on my skin and gagged.
This smells so synthetic and syrupy. This was an immediate scrubber for me. My partner had the same reaction to this. This fragrance is way too cloying. I found nothing sexy or comforting about it. I gave this away the next day.
I’m happy for those who actually found this to be something they enjoyed.

One reviewer mentioned creme brulee as the predominant scent, and I concur. Longevity is mind boggling 10+ hours. Just lovin’ it

  28. :

Next to Pure Zest (the orange one) and Pure Wood , this is my least favorite flanker. Thick and stuffy. This one has the LEAST amount of “that Mugler DNA” base. So if you hate Mugler– this is a good one to start with ?

Chocolate cookies fresh from the oven 😀 If a brownie became a man, he would wear this 😀 😀 gorgeus scent, sweet as hell, but its definitely unique. Lovely.

In another installment of Mugler’s “Let’s put a new top over the A*Men base instead of going for something new”, this time Bond No 9’s New Haarlem is the recipient. Or, in other words, an IHOP and a bakery sharing a room.
It opens with dark, harsh, very “roasted” coffee beans so, nothing that resembles smooth and milky ones. They’re covered in what smells close to brown maple/pancakes syrup with a licorice vibe to it as well, a note I really despise in general, but here it is secondary and there more to add to the bakery like sugariness and thickness of the blend.
Just like in New Haarlem, there’s lavender hidden in the heart, along with a little mint from the original A*Men, to make it possibly less overbearing while make no mistake about it, it is tremendously rich, it’s spicy and you have to fancy some (very) sweet scents to enjoy this one. It rests on Mugler’s classic base with its almost burnt chocolate, vanilla and caramel cookies smell.
You love the smell of black coffee beans and pancake syrup? You enjoy Bond’s New Haarlem but don’t want to pay the price and aren’t into decants? Or you want something like it but that is denser? Then you should undoubtedly test Mugler Pure Tonka.

This is sweet, strong, long lasting & it screams look at me…Thankfully it’s mid-winter, so you can pull this off very easily. It can overpower other fragrance of people near you…that includes body odor…and in NYC on the train, during the morning rush…It’s much needed.
I have an issue with it…the fragrance pyramid…Licorice is my main & only gripe…yuck I hate that note. But the other notes in this, help cover for it.
Just saying on my skin & to my nose, licorice & I don’t get along (Just rambling).
Outside of that, it’s a great scent.
I used four sprays…both wrist, front of my neck and on my shirt.
Would I buy this again? Yes(But I can’t find it anywhere).
Does this fragrance enter BEAST MODE, good, just okay or weak sauce at best? Beast mode.
What’s the strength of this? EDT.
Am I willing to trade this fragrance? No.
Should You Skipped It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It?
    Sample it first: Just case.
Skip it: altogether if you can’t take or do not like gourmand type fragrances(You will smell like someone’s dessert all day & this fragrance will announce your presence before you enter a room, yes it’s that strong).
Blind buy it: if you’re looking a gourmand fragrance(Beast mode)…That smells like you just finished baking pastries.
Can you use it as a unisex fragrance? Yes.
Is it the old, new formulation? New.
What’s its availability; in production, limited edition or discontinued? In production.

I’m extremely surprised more Fragranticans (is that what we call ourselves here? lol) don’t rate the mint as very prominent in Pure Tonka.
It and the tonka pretty much dominate on my skin for the first three hours and the mint doesn’t completly fade away until the seven to eight hour mark.
I rank Pure Tonka as my number one Amen flanker, with Pure Malt and Pure Havane rounding out my Mugler Holy Trinity.
Longevity for me is 24 hours plus.
Sillage and projection are excellent for at least 4 hours with two or three sprays.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

Fans of the toasted-vanilla scent of tonka bean/coumarin will be glad to hear that this scent amply lives up to the expectations its name will produce.
As mentioned below it is warmly accented with patchouli and coffee to present a perfect cool-weather projection monster. The chocolate and mint do become more prominent a few hours in.
The semi-soft layer above the sprayer makes application a bit awkward so you really have to be careful as it is every bit the long-term monster that it is made out to be. My workday application is one solid spray behind each ear, but my first attempt on my left was weak, so I went for a second light one, but measured doses are tricky with this bottle, and I wound up dropping a steady stream over what felt like half of my neck.
I am pretty sure I am projecting about three feet right now, and it’s been three hours since I put it on.
Incredibly powerful, so keep that in mind when you put it on – but if you enjoy tonka, vanilla, the A*Men line as a whole, or gourmands in general you must try this stuff out – and if you can’t find a tester, I think it’s a pretty safe blind buy of you meet any of those criteria. If you meet them all, I imagine you already own it 🙂
I put this in the top A*Men triumvirate, with Malt and Havane – with an honorable mention to Energy, since it is different enough from the others to almost be considered in its own non-gourmand category.

I am surprised at this stuff. There is a mint, chocolate, coffee smell with some boozy, honeyed liquor to it! Awesome!!! I love it!!! This reminds me of Man Made 1821 and that stuff is fantastic! Mugler does it again! Great job…

With the notes of Tonka and Vanilla you kind of expect it to be a sweet bomb, and sweet it is but not in the cloying way…unless you choose to bathe in it or wear it in searing heat. The added coffee and patchouli balances this nicely. They both play an important part in its make up. I don’t get any mint even though it’s listed. This is a powerhouse fragrance with great longevity and projection. The familiar A*Men DNA is in the background, as you would expect, but it still stands on its own two feet. Love it!
Not quite in the realms of Pure Malt or Havane for me, but definitely on the level just below with Pure Wood.
If you’re a fan of A*Men get it, you won’t be disappointed, otherwise maybe a sample is the best bet.
I really love the A*Men line, I hope they continue with it!

Funny story for this one. Couple months ago when I was on the hunt for a good mugler fragrance I barely cared about tonka at first because when I tested it I found it to smell too sweet and sugary( kinda like gingerbread cookies) . So whenever I went to ulta I would usually skip this scent and try other one s like amen or kryptomint etc etc… one day I decided to layer amen with tonka cuz I was just so damn curious and 2 hour sounds later the scent was projecting loudly and tasty! Sweet, minty, chocolateyy, caramely from the amen MAN those 2 scents blend together PERFECTLY therefore I purchased Pure Tonka today. I have yet to sample this alone but I already own original AMEN so if I dislike Pure Tonka on it’s own I can always layer it with amen. Also just learned performance for this is beastly so it’s a win win situation for me
UPDATE – apply AXE dark temptation with either Pure Tonka or original AMEN, 100% u won’t regret it , it’s a chocolate mint caramel coffee OVERDOSE
    Initial spray- 7/10
    Dry down- 7.3/10
    Longevity- 11 hours
    Sillage 4-5 hours
    Overall 7.4/10

Kokuyu ilk sıktığınız an karşınıza yoğun bir kahve kokusu geliyor. Bu kahve kokusu öyle acımsı değil. İlk sıktığınız an kahvenin hemen yanına vanilya ekleniyor. Koku sentetik gelmedi. Gayet iyi harmanlanmış güzel bir parfüm. Özellikle akşamları kış aylarında çok olumlu tepkiler alabilirsiniz.
    Koku puanım: 8/10
    -Kalıcılık: 8/10
-Farkedilirlik: 8/10 (ilk 1-2 saat iyi bir farkedilirliğe sahip)
    -Fiyat/Performans:10/10
The smell comes from an intense smell of coffee first moment you squeeze your face. The smell of coffee so not bitter. Adding vanilla coffee right next to the first moment you frequent. The smell is becoming sweet. After 10-15 minutes, the lavender becomes visible. However, this clarity is felt for about 1 hour. Subsequently, the coffee remains intense on the back with tonka bean and vanilla. The smell of synthetics did not feel much. A beautiful perfume that blends well. Especially during the winter months you can get very positive reactions.
    Scent: 8/10
    longevity 8/10
    Silage 8/10 (1-2 hours it’s good silage)
    Price/Performans: 10/10

I won’t add my opinions here because they’re not favorable to this scent, and they seem to change every time I smell this one. Instead, here’s five “IMHO” facts:
    1. Scent= caramelized cotton candy
    2. Longevity= 6-8 hours
    3. Projection= big bubble ~2-3hrs
    4. I don’t like to smell like someone’s desert
    5. you could go your life without owning this

Very very strong fragrance. I have heard reviewers talking about the scent developing, but it keeps smelling exactly the same to me. Very strong coffee and cookie scent, that projects like insanity for the first 3 hours and sticks to you for a good 8-10 hours.
Do NOT use more than two sprays, unless you would like whole Australia to smell you, when you are wearing it at Christmas dinner in Canada.
    Scent: 4/10
Projection: 12/10 (I have never experienced projection like this. It even beats Code Profumo, which already is a beast. Eau de Toilette? More like Eau de Tsar Bomba)
    Sillage: 11/10
    Longevity: 11/10
Versatility 2/10 (Cannot imagine me going to an event, smelling like a cookie)
    Uniqueness: 8/10
Price-performance: 9/10 (If you like the scent, you cannot go wrong with this. Really attractive pricing and a bottle will last a LONG time, because 2 sprays is not a room filler, but a warehouse filler)
Total: 8 (Even though I do not like the scent. The performance is beyond beast mode)

Another hit from Thierry Mugler. Love wearing this scent in the colder months of the year. I have batch 0527852 and it is as powerful as hell. It stays on my skin and radiates for a good 12 hours and it only comes off after I take a shower. It projects, coffee, Tonka & Chocolate with Patchouli and some syrup for the sweetness. A lovable gourmand fragrance that you can not dislike. This is a strong juice so I only need one spray and I am good to go. This bottle that I have will last me for years, although I have purchased another two backup bottles. I had to get them while I could.

Sprayed on the back of my hand at 2PM and could smell it at 12 AM. Projected really well. It’s a good fragrance but I just think Pure Malt smells better. Pure Tonka is dark and mature. Smells like coffee and chocolate. There is a little tonka and the original A*Men DNA. Definitely try first especially if you don’t own any of the A*Men line. Solid fragrance.

I was given 2ml of this to compare to Bond no 9’s New Haarlem.
I have to say, I get the similarities right away; it’s what I’d call a sweet-woody scent with an herbal supporting cast. New Haarlem is a “dry” syrup where Pure Tonka is borderline sticky-sweet. My favorite part of NH is that lavender-like dryness and i get less of it here, but i do still notice it.
The herbal parts dissipate fully after a few hours, and the sweet-woody parts remain for several hours after that. I get an easy 12+ hours off of 2 sprays; I’ve had the same 2ml for an insane amount of time considering how many times I’ve used it! An easy 8 out of 10 for me, i can see how it’s cloying or too sweet for some, it really pushes that envelope.

Add me to the list of those who don’t get the performance others are getting from this. I see about 90 minutes of projection and 4 to 5 hours of longevity. I’ve asked Fragrantica to add fields for batch codes/dates and place of purchase but they haven’t as of this writing. Those two items are the most important part of a review.
My batch code is 0527852 which is a May, 2016 bottle and I also purchased it from a B&M retail store. This bottle has one of the worst sprayers I’ve ever come across. I’m tempted to cut the top of the cap as per the now famous Youtube video, but i just can’t bring myself to alter the appearance of the outer casing. I may have to at some point, though
Update” Batch code 0527852 no longer appears on the usual sites, so May 2016 might be an incorrect batch date. A 2nd code on the box of 15335 indicates this bottle may have been been produced on Dec.1, 2015 which would have made it one of the earlier issues, since the fragance was officially released in 2016.

Amazing longevity…12 hours +. It’s a sweet gourmand with that A*Men DNA so you get the coffee and patchouli. I definitely get a bit of a sweet licorice vibe in there as well. I’ve owned Pure Malt, Pure Coffee, Pure Wood, and Kryptomint, and this is my favorite so far.

WOW! This is so out of the box for me in terms of what I usually like, but this is just remarkable. The opening starts off with a very short but fresh minty blast…that subsides rather quick and the tonka and coffee start to shine through backed by a lovely warm patchouli. The anise is there adding a sambuca note to the fragrance which blends really well with the coffee note. As this continues to dry you get rich bitter-cocoa and warm ambery vanilla. This is just awesome, and I never thought I’d enjoy a fragrance such as this, but this has really won me over.

For anyone having trouble spraying this: look up “Thierry Mugler sprayer” on Youtube. All you have to do is cut along the rubber line at the top with knife or scissors so that the atomizer is exposed (that is, if you don’t mind mutilating your bottle!) and you’ll get a very “normal” spray.
Hope this helps you all enjoy this beauty that much more this coming winter. 🙂

I have never found an A*Men flanker that I disliked, they are consistently good and Pure Tonka follows suit with the rest of the line. Sweet chocolate and syrupy vanilla are present but the stars of the show are tonka and coffee. The tonka hangs around the entire wearing and the coffee is sweet at first but I do get undertones of fresh bitter brew after a few hours. Excellent performance in all categories and another winner from the Pure line.

Hard to spray but it is a wonderful fragrance. A great tonka bean bomb and sillage is pretty good.

I really don’t have words to describe this.
It’s the best fragrance EVER! Such a great coffee note that punch in the face to the people around you, mix with vanilla, and a bit of Tonka Bean.
I’m tellin you guys, with this, you have one of the best perfomances ever, and a lovely sweet/seductive smell.
Sadly not so appreciate for the women…

Starts off with syrupy sweetness…turns to crispy, cooked, sugary coconut flakes…and finally into warm amber vanilla. Amazing fragrance!

I have tested and analyzed all the limited edition releases of the mythical “A men”, which in the end have been a few, and I must admit that they are not bad at all most of them, even so, there is a flanker that I have to highlight a point above the rest, and it is this olfactory wonder of the “Pure Tonka”.
Huclier highlights the facets and olfactory nuances of the Tonka Haba, highlighting the balsamic, sweet, caramel and bitter cocoa of the essence, leaving aside other facets of the Tonka Haba as the clean, soapy and tinkered, with this I work an impeccable and marked: goloso-gourmand.
It is clear that if you like sweet and edible aromas, this could be the dreamy breakfast of a sweet tooth.
When I smell it, I can smell a rustic table made of licorice wood decorated with many fresh merry flowers of lavender and mint leaves, something simple and charming.
On that table, I find a steaming coffee, with a slightly roasted and freshly made aroma.
There are several trays of freshly baked sweets and buns, with butter, some bathed in vanilla sugar, others in caramel with a little honey, others in praline and glacé sugar and all filled with a succule
