Description
“Ambrosia is a hippie festival of fragrant flowers, this one is very much the sort of fragrance that most people associate with the Natural Perfume genre. I just decided to create one that really (really) delivers a bouquet of bliss by having it focus on the truly beautiful blossoms that it features. Ambrosia stars cold pressed Mandarin, Jasmine (grandi), Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Frangipani, Blue Lotus, Atlas Cedarwood, Tonka, Cardamon, Cinnamon leaf, Sumatran Patchouli and Mysore Sandalwood. Available in 15ml amber glass roll-ons. Ambrosia is a Summer must-have for free spirits and djembe enthusiasts. Available in 15ml amber glass roll-on vials.” – a note from the brand.
Ambrosia was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Teone Reinthal.

Ambrosia. Beautiful to say, divine to wear. Just a few drops of this precious elixir plunges me into a conflation of contrasts: of sunshine and shadow, warmth and coolness, soporific yet invigorating, of innocence guarded and innocence lost. Ambrosia captures for me the sensuality of a Mogul seraglio: tiles under bare feet. Reflections of walls and the dome on a pool of still water. Floating frangipani. The smell of bathed skin. A sandalwood door. Jasmine in full bloom. A whiff of cardamom tea. And a mandarin tree. If it were music, Ambrosia would be Maya’s Theme (Kama Sutra), by Mychael Danna. A masterpiece by Teone Reinthal.

A sunny golden melange of the most ambrosial elements. Clusters of frangipani, like the beautiful bouquets adorning the boughs of its tree, bequeath their creamy golden scent. A deep ylang ylang interjects with gentle, light floral spices, and exotic turn of the eye and mind to something more sensual and warm. A gorgeous golden champaca note underlies the frangipani, in delicate harmony its soft wispy petals flow gently with the ebb of the warm floral wafts.
As the morning glory comes to pass a soft neroli emerges, an introduction to the woman beneath the showy forenoon blooms. Sophisticated and refined, shes quietly and reservedly elegant.
In the eventide as the golden light of day retires, a dewy lotus adds a watercolour hue to the sunset. A beautiful refined bed of sandalwood and tonka that speaks of quiet opulence and class awaits.
