Scent – fresh berries, vanilla & a sweet incense dry down.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the colder months, during the day.
Projection – I did get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
Longevity – I get 16hrs consistently.

The vanilla note is the centerpiece here, but rather than getting a creamy or heady treatment, it’s part of a sharp and somewhat earthy composition. I get the tonka bean and balsam most prominently at first, with the patchouli becoming more distinct with wear. Vanilla is generally a favorite of mine, but this presentation doesn’t do it for me. Something about what’s going on here deprives the fragrance of body, and what remains strikes me as thin and jagged.
It was an interesting experiment, but not to my taste. It’s relatively long-lasting, still going after 8 hours or more, but it wears quite close to the skin when applied in moderation.

Nice somewhat sweet fragrance but sillage and longevity is poor. I received this as a free sample from Lucky Scent and will not be making a full bottle purchase.

Screechy, sharp. Very masculine, and one word, unpleasant..do not like that one one bit, the name is weird, the bottle is ugly, and the scent, not pretty …it smells like an old Estée Lauder fragrance, although it is masculine…i don’t know, are there people out there wearing that stuff!?
Another typical example of a niche that doesn’t care about smelling nice..cacophonie of notes..

This is a slightly soapy smelling amber. The opening is beautiful, although fleeting. I get a welcoming embrace of incense and geranium. Once the balsam takes over, that is pretty much the rest of the story. There is a hint of vanilla and vetiver, but only a hint. Quite masculine, but certainly lady friendly as well. Perfumes smell different on all of us. Amber tends to dominate on me and so this perfume reads as a straight up amber without much of a reference to anything else. If you are looking for a gentle amber, this one is very nice.

Patchouli ruins expensive fragrances. It is overused as a common, scent-covering deodorizer and tends to overpower better scents. Not a good choice.
