I got this fragrance as a free item thinking it would be nice and omg I hate this with the strength of a thousand suns. I can barely smell any mandarin and the Amber is extremely heavy and overpowering. There is nothing nice about it at all. I lingers forever and gives a strong headache. Gross.

Similar to the rest of this citrus lineup, one note figures much more prominently over the others. In Amber Mandarin, it’s the mandarin I can smell above anything else. I wish it was the amber though. There is nothing better than a sweet powdery amber surrounded by a few other notes, in my opinion, but that’s not what this is. Still, pleasant if you like citrus, which I do. The amber does come through a bit better for me at the dry down, but this is basically a citrus scent to me.

This whole citrus line from VS barely lasts. The silage is horrible;I could barely even smell it on my skin smelling it right on my wrist. The longevity is also weak, maybe 5 minutes max.For a tiny 1.7 oz of perfume for $52,I was expecting a lot more. It’s too bad because it does seem like it could be a nice scent for the summer and smells kind of nice for the first few seconds you can smell of it.I ordered it online so I didn’t get to test it.This citrus line is like a ghost;there one second, gone the next.I’m pissed.Edit:Ok well I got two compliments from my friends wearing this today so I’m a little happy now(though I had to douse myself in it),but I’m still mad.

This is officially my favorite of the new citrus line from VS. It’s a very warm, prominent amber. It starts off very creamy and slightly powdery, and the citrus is slightly more prominent after about an hour on my skin. It reminds me slightly of a less powdery, more subtle version of Banana Republic’s Rosewood. It’s wonderful!
