hm…not bad…I see some resemblence with Amouage Interlude man (which I used to own and love to pieces) due to the combination of amber and oregano… not as bombastic as that one is though. Given the price tag, I’d buy Interlude Man again in this genre.

As much as I love amber and all the notes here, I’m not in love with this. It has an oudi quality that throws off the balance for me. Might be the oregano / bay leaf adding a medicinal quality…but somehow the stong oud smelling orientals spring to mind when I have this on.

This is fresh amber, not dry or powdery. Different from SL Ambre Sultan. Like Esteban Ambre this frag is very wearable all year, and especially in hot summer!
