I do not understand this brand. So many perfumes discontinued without any notice, and really good ones. The ones not discontinued are heavily altered from time to time, without recognition sometimes. Can´t see it working in the long run.
I give up, you don´t know what you are getting.

to me, this is a rather good approximation of actual dark ambergris (which i have.) very good.

This is basically Al Haramain’s Amber on steroids, with the spices, labdanum and saffron amped up to the max.
The labdanum/saffron combo is quite leathery, but the sandalwood gives a nice balance to the whole fragrance. This one is really dry and spicy, and totally lacks the vanilla sweetness of the traditional amber accord. That’s why it’s totally unique and unisex in my opinion, because Amber 4000 wears more like a woody spicy leather rather than a straight up Ambre 114 type amber.
Heavy projection for an attar, slightly disappointing longevity though (about 5 hours on me), but I will still buy a small bottle when my sample runs out !
