Such an amazing jasmine, the kind I always long for…pink. Pink jasmine is a potent species of jasmine that blooms about a month before the more common type of jasmine, here in Southern California. It’s strong, heady and practically hypnotic, and has only a short blooming period before it’s gone for a whole ‘nother year. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to come by in a fragrance, without forking out a small fortune. But this one seriously nails it, for about 10 minutes, and then it’s gone…kind of like the flower itself. Just a taste of unadulterated perfection, sheer happiness, before it disappears completely. Although, I guess you can’t expect too much from a body/room spray.
