Description
“Altruist the Eau de Parfum is based on the composition of the Eau de Toilette Altruist, that was created in collaboration with Berlin artist Paul DeFlorian as Art Edition. The composition is characterised by the inspiration of Paul DeFlorian. The atmosphere and colours of his painting are represented in the scent.
Following the positive feedback for the limited Eau de Toilette, we will add the formula as Eau de Parfum to the range of products of J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin in spring. Due to the higher concentration of the oils, the modern character of the scent unfolds even more and develops beautifully.
With its bright head note, a sensual bouquet and a dry and humid density, Altruist joins the extravagant scents from the perfume house Schwarzlose and fits perfectly into spring!” – a note from the brand.
Altruist Eau de Parfum was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Véronique Nyberg.

I didn’t try the original, but my initial impression of this is very close to L’eau Froide by Serge Lutens. Zesty sweet citrus, tickly pepper and an ozonic, mildly salty water note that smells ultra clean in a crisp laundry sort of way. It’s not romantic or sexy, but it would make a good sports fragrance.

Received a free sample from Lucky Scent. Light citrus but nothing special. Low sillage/longevity. I won’t be making a purchase.

Meh, I find the EDP a lot less sparkling compared to the original EDT, I think the scent lost a lot of its original freshness, it is even a bit musty in my opinion. It smells a bit off, as if the perfumes has been turned wrong. The sillage is less and longevity is the same.
I have decided to go for the EDT, since this is the perfect summer scent, although I do not think IWill ever finish the 200 ml, which is the only size available.
