I got my bottle a few days ago, after a blind buy. I was expecting a fresh scent, starting with fruits then drying down to a soft mix of woody-floral notes. However, it was like an after-shave on me, both the opening and the dry down. Only notes I notice are cedar, grapefruit and a bit of litchi.
Edit: After 9 hours, it became less woody, more fruity-floral and less heavy.

I have another version of the bottle too.
I like many Avon perfumes, but unfortunately not this one. I can smell something which is not orange (litchi maybe?) and that’s basically it.
I suggest not to blind buy it because in my experience it can cause headache to some people.
The very bad side? To me it smells very cheap soon after sparying it on skin. It’s ok to spray in the air for perfuming a room, though. For this purpose can even be sort of elegant.

Mine comes in a different bottle to the one pictured, it’s like all the ones that come up in the ebay ads underneath the note list. Great name and I really like the bottle, it’s great, simple, elegant, looks a bit Bvlgari with the gold cap. However, the scent is like a litchi punch in the face and I get no orange at all, which is what I bought it for. Litchi then a bit of wood. I don’t like straight litchi very much so I’m going to give this away.

Avon alpha is a woodier version of Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture and also Nina By Nina Ricci.
Avon Alpha for her smells like sweet florals soaked in raspberry and blood orange with a hint of caramel and cashmere woods.
It reminds very much of Viva La Juicy the most with a slight nod to Nina but with added woody depth and not as sweet as the other 2.
All in all I give this a 9 out of 10
Alpha for her is a sweet woody fruity floral treat for any lady who loves the above two mentioned but want a cheaper alternative which is also grounded by a more woody Nuance that makes it perfect for year round wearing its fresh and juicy enough for summer yet warm and woody enough for winter.
This is best worn on balmy summer night’s and cool winter days.

U.S. isn’t getting A LOT of these new 2015 and 2016 perfumes. What gives?!

This is a very nice perfume. On me the main notes are litchi and raspberry , after one hour or more the woody notes and the cashmeran become more dominant and it changes into a woody/cashmeran scent with litchi/raspberry undertones. It is very sweet though not obtrusive and the cashmeran wood notes give it a certain sophistication. Longevity on me is over 6 hours, starting with moderate sillage and gradually becoming a skin scent though you can smell it on you as you move. It is discreet and sophisticated and can be used by both sexes, though being more feminine. Its name is Alpha, not Apha.

Who is getting this? I don’t think we here in the US are. So who or where?
