I got a decant of this that doesn’t indicate EDP or EDT, so I’m assuming it’s this one. Sorry if that’s not accurate.
The opening of this is the best part. As is the case with so many white florals, there is a very strong plastic note in this that is unsettling. I think there are much better Tiare scents available.

This is going to be a bit of a shallow review since I’m not that familiar with the tiare note, but mostly what I get in the beginning is sugar powder like pixi sticks when first spayed and a powdery vanilla. Later I get a fairly sugary creamy candy like smell topped with that soapy floral frangipani scent. In my opinion, the vanilla, coconut, tuberose, ylang ylang, are too well blended to pick out individually in this phase, and are instead represented by an ambiguous creamy accord. It could just be my skin, but I don’t agree with coconut being the 2nd most dominant note. Believe it or not, I can actually pick out the benzoin, and am leaning towards the possibility that it is slightly more present than the coconut. Later in the dry down, the scent pulls out of candy sweetness, and instead takes on vague nuances of sunscreen (tiare?). Again I’m not familiar with tiare, but I am with all the other notes, and the only one that jumps right out is frangipani, and you definitely could’ve fooled me that this has any patchouli in it at all.

super candy sweet tiare with an even sweeter coconut creaminess. Puts me in mind of Lalicious’ products Tiare flower scent, which puts me in mind of vacation. I agree with a prior reviewer that a light hand is a must with this.

I am in the midst of a frustrating search for a reasonably priced summer frag which projects and lasts, but is on par in its summery-ness with either Bronze Goddess or Bronze Goddess Capri.
I have done extensive research to try to find the right ones to fit the bill.
Both the versions of BG are so delectable… so beautiful… But they just do not last. I resent that they are skin scents, and I use them up far too fast because Ive had to use A LOT to make the scent stay somewhat (and it doesnt even work. No matter how much you spray, they are barely detectable after 20 minutes).
So I finally bit the bullet and ordered this baby.
Thankfully, it turns out that this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Its really beautiful… but you must spray sparingly. I get why so many compare it to a bathroom freshener… Yes indeed that quality is for sure up front and present. But ONLY if you over spray.
In other words, it doesnt have to be industrial strength bathroom freshener, it just CAN BE. But its a mistake to think that this isnt a good recreation of a very naturally occurring scent.
There is a REASON this type of tropical island scent has been recreated a hundred times for various hotel bathrooms, in perfumes, in lotions.
The reason is because its a phenomenally gorgeous and utterly magical scent.
This scent will be familiar and unoriginal because of this fact.
But being a known and unoriginal scent that occurs naturally in the world does nothing to take away from the true beauty of it, in my opinion.
This is sweeeeeeet tiare coconut. Not gourmand, but still super sweet nonetheless. Definitely smells like the air in Hawaii… all the way.
What I will probably doing with this is to spray sparingly and layer in some J Lo Live (pineapple scent by Ropion) to give it a tart energy kick.
This is not a stronger, longer lasting Bronze Goddess… But I knew it wouldnt be. It is, however, in the same room with Bronze Goddess. Instead of being salty air and suntan lotion, this is the actual tropical AIR of a humid flowery island… creamy, creamy coconut… and a rich, all-encompassing gardenia. Later on, a really beautiful vanilla comes through and dominates. Nice development there.
I’d love to find a woody fragrance to add to this one… One that is like the cedar I detect in Bronze Goddess which seems to bring salt to mind. Something like that might just take this into a truly original frag.
I am VERY happy with this purchase, though. This one STAYS STRONG AND LONG! Great bang for the buck because its not going to need to be sprayed over and over throughout the day.
I have zero qualms walking around in a summer dress and sandals and smelling of Hawaii.
Its truly gorgeous and it is a totally perfect summer perfume.
I’ve also got Jill Sanders Sun on its way to me from Germany.
Hoping it will be another summer option, and as successful a blind buy as this one has been.

Unless I got a bad sample, I was not impressed with this fragrance. For a few seconds, it was enthralling, but that quickly dissipated and I was left with a base impression of smoke that was unsettling. Not for me.

I can’t tell any difference from Yver Rocher’s Monoi eau des Vahines. I mean I love it ! a lot but it’s just a lot more money for the same thing. I would rather have Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Tiare ! Unfortunately it has been discontinued.

mvd99 Yes I can, this smells nothing like Bronze Goddess. Bronze Goddess is a nice coconut-y suntan lotion smelling skin scent. This is a nuclear sillage monster that smells of white florals but not in a suntan lotion sort of way.

Can anyone chime in on how this compares to Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess?

This is very very strong and is a disgusting white floral fragrance. I didn´t get any coconut. As I´ve never smelled a tiare flower, I can´t comment on that note. This reminds me of Fracas by Robert Piguet gone off.

I love the EDT version of the Aloha Tiare, but this EDP does not, in my opinion, smell ANYTHING like the EDT version. It’s much more flowery with basically only frangipani coming through for me and not at all sweet, like the EDT has very obvious undertones of vanilla and coconut. I tried spraying the CSP Vanille Coco on top and that makes the scent a bit closer to the EDT, but only a bit. I was hoping to get the same scent (since, well, it does have the same name and is made by the same company), just in the more expensive, longer-lasting version. What I got was a completely different perfume that I don’t much care for. Very disappointed!

I am surprised by the other reviews… Maybe it has to do with the temperature?
The weather is cold but I am wearing this one to cheer me up, got lots of compliments so far.
This is a blind buy I do not regret because it was exactly what I was looking for.
Smells like exotic white flowers= tiaré.
    Island girl.

I think that this scent is soapy and muskied. On my skin it’s an explosion of frangipani and tuberose. The thiare flower is very subtile but present at all. Finally, nobody else smells like me where I has it on.

I did a blind buy on this one and wish I hadn’t. I thought I would pick up on the Tiare, or rather, I was hoping I would…but it appears to be drowned out by the other competing flowers. I’m not sure what my nose is objecting to exactly, but it’s an unpleasant, cacophonous mess on my skin. I waited for the dry down and it never really came. I could see how others would love it…but for some reason it just smells like I fell into the Luau punch – and not in a good way! I will say that I generally love this house. I’ve had such good luck with them until now.

Can anyone give us a comparison of the EDP to the EDT? Thanks:)
