This is a RICH , SMOOTH amber that lasts forever on me . It really gets positive attention. It is not like Allure EDP , which is more understated ( and incredibly beautiful classic ).
I find this to be lively and sophisticated and think it has more depth and warmth than Coco Mademoiselle or any of the latest Chanel offerings ( Noir , Gabrielle ) . It has a Chanel price, but it smells like a very expensive and lively fragrance .
I have received many compliments on Allure Sensuelle . I still am madly in love with the smoothness and elegance of Allure EDP , but this Sensuelle should not be overlooked if you have not tried it .
I could kiss J, Polge, who created Allure, Coco , Diva, and Allure Sensuelle . They are works of art literally . He seems to have a gift for creating fragrances that are rich and feminine and not trendy ones that are quickly forgotten .
I find it hard to believe anyone would find this fragrance to be anything less than first rate, and one of Chanel’s best . I have purchased several bottles for myself and for my late mother . My best friend also loves this one as much as my mother and I have loved it .

This is a fantastic Chanel experience. As you have combined the best of Allure,Coco Mademoiselle and Chanel n5 perfume.Beautiful flower combination like Allure, modern and “coquet” like Coco Mademoiselle and creamy and warm like Chanel n5. And so sensual. Very rich and strong too. Very good quality.

This is lovely but terribly disappointing in terms of projection and longevity.
Parfum??? I’m not sure I believe it.
It seems like they just put some edt in the parfum bottle.
My allure edt is insanely powerful compared to this.

It starts out like something very different to the EdP, very sensual and beautiful. Sexual, truly alluring. Develops this creamy and vanillary mood, with no real pyramid structure and then suddenly (and disappointingly) in turns straight into the EdP scent wise. Now, I like the EdP, but it has a harshness to it which I don’t love.
I’m astounded by how something that starts out so beautiful and different can end up so screechy and pissy. Very disappointed

Gorgeous, rich, potent, passionate, sensual, divine!!!! It’s fabulous!!!! Beautiful spicy oriental, with the wonderful rose and jasmine giving it a beautiful extra rich, sweet lift. And sweet vanilla, dark and exotic. A deeply sensual woman’s perfume. I loooove it.

It’s a good one, but no surprise there! A deep, rich elegant fragrance!
I can’t say much about notes, because such deep and rich perfumes confuse my nose, but I sense it as woody, warm and spicy.
It is indeed alluring and it also is sensual. Much more sensual than the Allure EDP.
I think it’s really worth a try, even if you’re not into old-fashioned scents, you still might like this one.
Timeless, elegant and luxurious!

Having made a big purchase from another perfume addict, they threw in a mini of this parfum. It’s so potent I can see easily getting 20 applications out of a 1.5ml adorable mini bottle.
Now, I don’t fancy myself a Chanel girl. Generally their base of patch/vetiver gets very sharp on me and, despite occasionally falling in love with the opening accords of Chanel scents, only the Parfum of Cuir de Russie’s ever captured me enough to buy.
Having said that, this is a beauty! It opens with a rich, thick spiced sweetness, high class jasmine w/ a touch of rose, & what I’d swear it Chanel’s smooth opening of patchouli. Also something very characteristically fresh, like all Chanel’s I know of. I’d think the sweet warm spices were mixed equally with sandalwood, & I like that this is a tad sweeter than other Chanel’s though so obviously built upon their backbone (I doubt this note pyramid is complete.) It gives great sillage on me, though the drydown does bring the characteristic Chanel patch/vetiver that I find too sharp to be ‘nuzzleable’, a characteristic I really need in my fragrances. (I seem to go anosmic to it quickly, I soon can’t smell it. Maybe I should actually apply less, I think it’s probably quite strong still!)
The wafts are beautiful though, I will keep my mini parfum and ask others if they can still smell it on me.
P.S. never smelled the original version [2.9.15]
