Description

“If while you slept the indigenous plants, leaves prickling with fervour, grew to a gargantuan size, then Allegria is the conduit that would wake you. Its vital scent that’s lightly vegetal and slightly smoky, instantly sweeps the senses on a roller-coaster of giant stems, plunging and twisting across an Edenic landscape. Fuelled by lush greenery, this ecstatic aroma transforms all that was once black and white into vivid colour.

In this botanical haven, sugared citrus fruits in a delectable blend of sweet and sour saturate the air. Fresh and juicy sparkles encase sunshine in every crystal drop. This aromatic appeal of all things delicious and crisp is as if the natural world is embracing the skin, the subsiding tide of sappy-green giving way to feelings of happy solace. The sharp freshness of manicured plants and the warm overtones of golden flowers, enrich with a resounding depth. In a concluding flood, rich, metallic tones, lustrous like the glare of light hitting steel, provide an unexpected warmth and strength, the immovable struts on which Allegria performs with the excited energy of a much-loved big dipper” — press release of the brand. Allegria was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Sonia Constant.

Allegria, lively with happy botanicals and the most fascinating mint perfume I’ve experienced.
Mint and basil paired with passionfruit, mouthwatering and exotic. Tart, bitter and delicately sour with citrus, bracingly fresh with eucalyptus. Cleansing but not sterilizing.
Blackcurrant leaf and buchu play like minty dark masculine berries.
Fuzzy mimosa, moss and musk… mmm…such heavenly textures that harness the aromatic notes. Cedar grounds them further into a warm woody base.
Fruity small white blossoms, tonka with a touch of smoky coumarin, and amber drip like warm nectar.
Allegria reminds me very much of CK IN2U for women, although just like that scent, this too renders a unisex vibe. Rouge Bunny Rouge delivers deep, sweet aromatics that brighten the spirit.

Aromatics in green;)Unique, herbal, green and more than a bit spicy.Like a big party of old friends in a late summer evening.Weather is still warm, after the rain.Big garden behind a village house. Bergamote, a doctor, is an owner. And it was her idea to call everybody from a high school to meet here. Looking at not very tidy lawns we can meet here a cumin, geranium and some other plants. All of them green and juicy with shiny leaves
Mint, who always comes first is already chatting to basil and they are also open to eucalyptus memories. Some funny situations just being recollected:)Mimosa in a smart, yellow dress just entered wearing sunny perfumes, nobody would think they are Sunflowers. And what has she brought with her?A fabulous gingerbread with spices, sweetened with almonds. Some chats, friendly buzz, greetings and hugs. The last one is mysterious Mr.Buchu who moved to Africa, making there a politician`s career.Tall, straight and smiling is holding a cedar essence promised last year to his friend Moss.
It might be a long and fascinating evening:)So have a nice meeting!

Fascinating scent. Overwhelmingly grapefruit and bergamot (and what smells to me like geranium leaves) on top that almost immediately dry down to a very green, herbal scent, with a bit of earth to it. It reminds me very much of the feel I got from wearing Clinique Happy in high school – it’s that same kind of clean effervescence without overt sweetness. I find t very unisex, especially in the middle and base notes. This is one that I like to spray on before bed – it’s nice to wake up to the soft, ambery base notes. Spring and summer without smelling like a beach – it’s a spring or summer day when there’s a chilly breeze. One of the most beautifully complex scents I own – this one is a journey on your skin.

The opening is delightful – like a garden of mouthwatering, juicy fruits (I can smell the passionfruit tempered by bergamot) and luscious herbs – mint, basil to name a few. I don’t care all that much about the heart of this scent, it has a bit too unisex vibe, masculine even – herbal, with a hint of eucalyptus and soapy amber, it becomes nicer when it hits its base – sweet with hawthorn and tonka bean. The eucalyptus is still there, and possibly oakmoss as well, but at least they have a more feminine company. I love the opening, dislike the heart, and like the base – do I like the scent as a whole? Hmm.. At least it has a nice progression and is not as flat as many scents of today.

It is a spash of a nice mochito coctail with a hint of almond 🙂
    Refreshing and unique.
