Alberta Ferretti introduces a fragrance which will represent the house of Alberta Ferretti in cooperation with Elizabeth Arden. The fragrance arrives on the market in September, but will not be available on American market before April 2010.
Concept of the perfume is crown of Alberta Ferretti‘s designer art – it shows feminine models, sophisticated style and inspirational creations. Perfumer of this edition is Sophie Labbe of IFF. The perfume is based on contrastive aromas of bergamot and amber. Top notes incorporate freesia, pink pepper and Sicilian bergamot, a heart features sweet peas, ylang-ylang, Casablanca lily, while a base adds patchouli and golden amber.
Alberta Ferretti arrives in a glass flacon in amount of 30 and 75 ml EDP, as well as 75 ml EDT. According to Alberta Ferretti‘s words, the fragrance expresses woman’s emotional side. It is pure essence of woman in a perfume flacon…

Reminds me of unforgettable by Revlon even a softer version of joop. Really nice amber musky smell if you like these style of perfumes or queen latifa perfume or coco chanel you will probably like this. Amber musk perfumes suit my chemistry so this lasts on me but may be too strong for hot weather.

Very balanced floral patchouli fragrance. With a bit of sweetness given by sweet peas and a bit of freshness given by pink pepper. Very feminine and polite fragrance, not overwhelming, safe for office.

This fragance is somewhat mysterious. It has some sweetness but also bitterness. A soft and a hard side. I have been told that it smells a bit masculine and wouldnt label it as a soft floral suitable for any age. For a not too young womanan d someone with a strong personality. An autumn scent and also suitable for winter.
EDIT: It definitely has somethign very masculine and cold despite the sweetness. It was an impulsive buy and now it’s not as easy to wear as I expected.

This was a pleasant surprise because I normally avoid designer fragrances. In fact it’s elegant, subtle and very wearable for either day or night. It’s not too floral, just a little bit spicy and it has an ambery base that isn’t too dominant and becomes quite soft. Very nice – if you haven’t tried it, do give it a go!

Alberta Ferretti was a pleasant surprise. I really expected something generic, nauseating and cheap, but I found something soft, nicely done and wearable.
This fragrance is lightly floral, with a soft and sweet muskiness. It doesn’t usually get much more feminine than this.
In person the bottle looks much nicer than shown in this picture above. For all those people who are rolling their eyes thinking this is yet another typical designer fragrance, think again. Sure, Alberta Ferretti is nothing out of the ordinary but it’s one of the nicest subtle and inoffensive florals on the market today.
The lasting power is quite exceptional, and as I’ve previously mentioned, the sillage is intimate and polite. I see this delicate, slightly powdery bouquet on almost any woman of any age. It would even make a lovely present for a young girl just being introduced to perfume for the first time.
This beautiful fragrance is one recent release that I highly recommend.

It is an interesting scent.The pepper prevents it from being too sweet and soft. Stays close to the skin. It is rather elegant fragrance, not for very young girls. Good choice for the office.

Highly sophisticated fragrance in my view and probably for an older wearer.
Really gorgeous and can be worn both day and night.

This is an highly wearable soft floral, not too subtle but not overwhelming either. It’s quite a sweet joyful fragrance, not a gourmand type but sweetness is there. It is not an incredibly original fragrance. Still it’s very modern and quite elegant. Ylang Ylang and sweetpea are dominant.
It could be a lovely daytime autumn/winter scent for a feminine yet refined woman of any age.
