Description

Yves Rocher celebrates spring with a new collection presented in April 2012. The collection of fragrances and accompanying perfumed body care products is named Un Matin au Jardin and encompasses three EDTs, body lotions and body milks. The fragrances of the collection are inspired by spring gardens blooming with various flowers—roses, citrus blossom or irresistible lilac. Spring gardens of the house of Yves Rocher are: Agrumes en Fleurs, Lilas Mauve and Rose Fraiche.

Yves Rocher Agrumes en Fleurs (Citrus Flower) arrives in a yellow flacon and carries the scent of a Mediterranean ballade, a garden in rays of sun with citrus flower in the main role. Perfumer of the edition is Christiane Plos of Firmenich. The perfume can be obtained as 20 and 100ml EDT, along with body lotion and shower gel, 200 ml each.

Oh my Gosh and Oh my Gosh – what a gorgeous perfume!!
And, why haven’t I got hold of it until today? Well, I bought it blindly and got it in the post today, and after only two sprits I was madly in love with my new perfume :))
It is citrus and citrons and oranges all over me and the place, and the planet!!
And yes, there is a dishwashingliquid smell in it, but it is so very pleasant that you think “I must find somebody to hug” now, and don’t you ever grab me out of this soapy bubble, I will bee in my fresh lemon soap aura to the end of the world

To me, this is a superior citrus flower fragrance to YR’s Secret d’Essences Neroli, and it was less expensive as well. Got many compliments on Agrumes en Fleurs, never any on the Secret d’Essences Neroli. They stopped selling the AeF on the US website but appear to still offer it on Euro sites. Not sure why. When I realized it was discontinued I started saving it up for special occasions only, almost out.

My first test of this one, I got “pretty, but not astonishing.” My second test of this I got “sharp, weird, synthetic.”
Honestly, I don’t even have the ability to write a full review, because I find this burning my nose when I go to test. There’s a freshness. A fruitiness. Citrus for sure (that’s clear without looking at the notes).
As it dries down it gets a bit more pleasant, but this is really intended for a strong citrus lover, which I am not. If you love citrus, please take this review with a grain of salt. This is intended only to help people with SIMILAR tastes to me to be able to decide if they should pursue this scent.

This is a very, very, very soft and smooth D&G Light Blue mixed with a large handful of sweet tart powdery candies. I love it.

Today I’ve received a tester, it’s a nice scent on the tissue but on my skin it smells like I’ve just finished to wash dishes.

This is a gorgeous, soft citrus blossom floral with predominant neroli and very decent staying power- It reminds me of Avon Today, but I actually prefer Agrumes- it has a bit more citrus zing and a nice herbal greenness from the thyme- 8 hours into the fragrance, it is now smelling smoky, like cannabis- Intriguing!
    Thanks, g.!

The great thing about this: It smells almost exactly like Sea Spray by Lush, a hair product that there should really be a perfume of. Sea Spray is just a tiny bit fresher yet, probably because of the actual sea water it contains. If you mix it with this Yves Rocher Fragrance you get a perfect, light summer fragrance.

This was a good citrusy lemon blossom scent. The lemon blossoms smelled real and not fake like in American Eagle hidden love. Not to diss that one, I actually like it better ironically. What I’m trying to say is that this is a real deal white floral with orange and not something that will smell like candy. Although it is sweet, but not anything near candy level.
Not the best lasting power, would make a good summery cologne though. It’s just okay to me. I wish they put lemon in here instead of oranges, I think it would have complimented better.

There are a lot much more interesting citrus flower fragrances in perfume world. Not impressive, not truly and not long-lasing.

I had high hopes for this one as a love citrus fragrances and ordered the 20ml. Just as well as bascially on my skin I got this horrid, pungent, musty smell that reminded me of dried pot noodle!!! No lemon, no sweets nothing. This remained the same on me from first spray onwards, which wasn’t long thankfully.
I think in this particular composition, it was the orange, which doesnt work on my skin at all . I had the Jo Malone Orange blossom which was a lot better (and a lot more expensive), but not something I would re-purchase either. I also have the YR Madarine fragrance and that smells a lot better than this one on me.
Another ‘blind buy’ gone wrong. Disappointed.

I received Agrumes en Fleurs along with body lotion.
I am a male and I rarely test floral and fruity scents, even though I am addicted to citrusy notes.Agrumes en Fleurs doesn’t fall in category of sweet-orange-lemon fragrances, it’s more of a natural scent, not offensive and simple. And as I say, the sophistication is in simplicity. Can I wear it to work? Of course! I apply it after shower and I use lotion as well,it mixes very well with other masculine scents, which i basically prefer to do.I need to try the whole collection,YR should be more accessible in USA. 9/10.

I was very excited when I first sprayed this; it’s a lovely blend of floral and citrus with — fortunately — no obnoxious base note that fights with the main accords. However, it lacks longevity and I am now quickly using up a bottle because I seem to lose the ability to smell this 10 minutes later.

I was given a bottle of this by my mom who loves to order from Yves Rocher. It’s shocking that others are saying it does not last long, like djuzz.bcuzz my few spritz last night lasted until the morning I woke up. I like it, it’s very crisp and fresh and the scent lasts a long time, more citrus than floral. Perfect for those who want something light but lasting. Luckily, no toilet cleaner smell for me, I would say this fragrance is very pretty and I’d wear it anytime.

I agree to some extent with another reviewer (at another site) of Yves Rocher UN MATIN AU JARDIN – AGRUMES EN FLEURS. There really is something off with the opening of this composition. I catch wafts of dirty dishwater amidst the neroli and orange blossom (which I do smell some of…). The interplay of the citrus then generates the scent of some kind of toilet bowl cleaner. It must be the thyme which is conspiring with the citrus top notes and the mysterious “sweet notes” of the base to produce a used bathroom scent–for lack of a better phrase.
I find that after a couple of minutes the toilet cleaner vibe subsides a bit, making this an okay neroli cologne, along the lines of Mauer & Wirtz 4711. But since I don’t think that AGRUMES EN FLEURS is better than 4711, and the latter costs even less than the former (which isn’t much, by the way), there’s no real reason to use this one instead, even if one is capable of holding one’s breath through the unpleasant opening.

Toilet cleaner and sugary candy in a VERY strange mix.
    Definately not for me.

Perfume emphasizes femininity, glamor and charm of its owner.
Gives a feeling of lightness and freshness, so it’s perfect for a hot, hot summer. It is perfect for a romantic evening, and for outdoor recreation such as hiking with friends on a picnic.

I do like this fragrance because it smells like orange blossoms which I love…I also bought the lotion and shower gel which I don’t like…Doesn’t smell like the fragrance it smells harsh like wood to me.Would buy the scent again but not the body line…Yuck!

I just received this… it is not at all what I expected… it smells musty on me. I was hoping it would be a nice citrus fresh scent with a tad of flowery sweetness to it.
I do love the Lilac version of this!
EDIT: I keep trying this one, hoping that I start to like it sometime… or that my bodychemistry changes on days so that I won’t smell that musty kind of note. Yesterday before I went to bed I sprayed some on my arm, started out fresh citrussy, not that bad… and this morning I can still smell it on my arm. So it is very long lasting for an edt. Maybe I will get to like it better during spring… I will keep trying this one.

I just got it this week and it reminds me of something…. I cannot place it. Definitely reminds me of France…. I want to say “Un aire de Samsara”. It starts off very citrus but the drydown on me becomes completely different and almost musky. I may have had a “Folies de Saison” that was similar. I just cannot place this one. A keeper for sure. Makes me feel “very French” :).

Agrumes en Flours remind me of my beloved Jo Malone Orange Blossom in everyway.
Despite the different in longitivity and sillage, I guess we get what we pay for. This EDT is deserve to be called EDC instead. So far I really like the scent and willing to reapply a couple times during the day.

I recevied it today,in the beginning just sweet oranges, just what I like to eat ,but more sour.. Waited for a scent with citrus, not a sweet orange. Maybe a hour later I tried it again,Fresh citrus notes with lovely fresh flowers! Usually so flower bored, cause so many fragrances is LOVELY and unique flower smell… Fade faster than a cologne, keep spritzing you don`t waste a lot of money comparing a What you got . Buy it fresh citrus, fresh flowers!!

I wouldnt call it a scent, its not an eau de toilette even if it says so on the bottle. Its a fresh citrusy eau de cologne with a hint of lemon flowers. No lasting power no sillage just a refreshing body mist.
But in this context it is nice.

I wrote couple hours ago how this scent wasn’t very good, well..
At first it is very citrus and fresh..then it changes a bit strong, and after a while it is very orange blossom like..I was going to return this, until i went to gym..while I worked out, this scent changed (again) into very amazing smell, it was soft and fresh, i loved it! It reminded me of spring/summer rain!
I like very much perfumes that change while your skin warms up, if it is a good smell.
Well, I am not returning this!

Not orange blossom enough! Too citrusy, and a little bitter, too, and hard-edged. Goes weak pretty quickly. Perhaps good to layer, or for those who like a calmer, more straightforward scent. But I was sadly disappointed.

  27. :

First impression: there is a pungent element in the scent that I do not like. It gets less noticeable in the drydown, but I am still not sure of the verdict, like or not. I’ve got Pur Desir de Fleur d’Oranger from YR on my other arm and I think they smell very very similar. And I am getting a headache..

I bought a 20 ml edt and a matching body lotion of this, together with the Lilac scent. When Lilac reminds me of the early summers in Finland, Agrumes en Fleurs reminds me of the wonderful holidays I’ve spent in the Mediterranean islands. I spray this on my wrist, close my eyes and I am in Crete in June.
Yves Rocher has done a good job with these seasonal fragrances, and the bottles are pretty, too.

Nice, it smells like orange blossom tea. It’s soft, perfect for “quiet” women. It’s not what I was expecting. I tested it at the shop and I didn’t purchased it.

My first review! I received a bottle yesterday from Yves Rocher.I bought the smaller handbag size as I’m notoriously picky :-)It’s very fresh and light. There is a predominant orange blossom note to start with but that gradually fades to a more generic citrus scent. It’s not particularly long lasting, similar to an eau de cologne so I do wish it had more staying power. A lovely summer fragrance though and I would probably repurchase.
It reminds me of the original DKNY.

Is it long lasting? I want to buy it but I don’t want to buy something that fades away too quickly

At first it reminds me a lot of Mandarine Basilic by Guerlain (one of my favorite perfumes!). Then I get green notes and later lemon blossom and orange blossom, very soft.
Sillage is short in the drydown phase.
    It’s really nice!

This is my favorite of the 3 “Jardins” series , it’s like a citrus scent, without the sharp/acid aspect , it reminds me of a perfume i’ve tested very very long time ago , maybe an Yves Rocher scent , can’t remember .
I dont think i’ll buy it , let’s put it on the “maybe” shelf .

So I got this today. It starts with a hit of tart and sharp lemon. And I got kind of worried because when I first smelled it, it reminded me of insect repellent. But after 30 minutes or so the scent started to soften up. And I really like it! Soft, uplifting, citrusy scent that is mixed with some kind of flower, could it be neroli? I would recommend it and as I said before it’s perfect for spring and summer.
