SYAWKA2010 – :
Emprise smells similar to Guerlain’s tropical flower fragrance Mahora, minus the ylang and with lily instead. It’s a rich, thick, “sticky” dense floral with hints of lemon and spices – on a deep woody base.
If you analyse the like/love/dislike data, it’s men 25+ who are hating on this and possibly because they’re surprised by how “perfumey” it smells, presumably because they’re expecting more oud and spice. NOTE: I can’t smell any oud in this, either synthetic or natural, so don’t come looking for an oud fragrance here. It might be there in the base holding everything together, but is not detectable.
This is very long-lasting with good sillage. It goes on very oily on the skin, appearing to be of extrait concentration.
I really like it, although I can see how some people would find it too rich and sweet. The voting pyramid of this is completely off. This isn’t an oud fragrance in the popular meaning of that term.

very expensive very sorry that i bought it smells nice to fruity at the end but for that amount which was almost like 400 $ it should be beautiful well it wasnt,
I usually test them before I purchase especially the perfume (Niche) test it leave to cool down and settle then u can decide , maybe its not for me .

Big oud top note with some very slight touch of citral in the background.
It is neither spicy nor sweet and actually pretty challenging.
Comes off almost medicinal/mildly herbal if anything!
It gets a bit sweeter and so better as it settles but it’s still too airy and dilute for me and I wanted peach right at the top, not having to wait an eternal 10-15 minutes through medical oud-water for it.
Becomes similar to Passionate.
So, not happy with this, I tried to belive this would be more fruity than oud but this is essentially just another orthodox-oud spin-off.
Not for me at all.
Scent: 4/10.
Quality: 9/10.
