sergantt – :
This is a review for the Admiral Andreevsky Flag which is not listed in Fragrantica.
Admiral Andreevsky Flag is a summery woody, soft spicy, fresh citrusy scent for men. It is suitable for summer, very hot weather, day time. It is versatile, simple and easy to wear summer scent.
Top Notes
bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin
Middle Notes
pepper, cardamom
Base Notes
vetiver, cedar
It opens with very strong and vivid bergamot followed by vivid grapefruit and mild mandarine with a honeyed facet. The pepper note is very weak and short lived. The vetiver and the cardamom are strong (cardamom has a mild discreet sweetness). The cedar is noticeable. I also get a weak aquatic note and something greenish.
The longevity and the sillage are both moderate. It is the less strong scent of the Admiral series.
Enigan – :
Admiral Blue Blood is a fresh, aromatic, woody scent for men suitable for summer day time.
The Notes according to Sergio Nero
Top Notes
orange, aldehydes, sea water, mandarine orange
Middle Notes
neroli, cedar, pepper, vetiver
Base Notes
musk, amber, vanilla, tonka bean
It opens with a blast of orange followed by smooth mandarine and aldehydes. There is something very fresh here, like the air on a cold snowy winter morning, this smell exactly, cold ice smell. After a while comes to the surface a beautiful note of sea water with a pinch of salt and beautiful neroli with vivid cedar. The pepper is very short lived and the vetiver mild. After some time I get the musk with a fresh vanilla note and mild tonka bean. The amber is weak.
The longevity and the sillage are both moderate. It reminds me the Happy Clinique for men but in a more aromatic and woody way and of course with better performance than the Clinique. Another beautiful surprice from Sergio Nero Admiral series.. I love it!
