Acqua 330. Oh, my love.
I literally cannot stand how pretty this fragrance is. It’s the most beautiful salty aquatic. It’s cool, fresh and beachy but sophisticated at the same time.
The salt mixes with the skin so that when people stop me they say, “oh, you smell so good!” instead of, “oh, I love your perfume.” It has some floral to brighten things up and a bit of citrus to cool things down. It’s just a gorgeous combination of notes. It makes me want to go outside and just take in the world.

I braced myself for something unwearable when I donned Emilio Pucci ACQUA 330 today, as I am not an amateur of aquatic frags, but this one is not that bad, which is to say: it’s not overly aquatic. Yes, it smells synthetic, but it’s not making me seasick, so that’s already a good sign.
As the scent settled down, it occurred to me that ACQUA 330 seems like a hybrid between Jennifer Aniston’s perfume and DKNY PURE VERBENA (the flanker to PURE). The jasmine is central to this composition, but there is a sort of herbality leading into the soapy drydown, which again reminds me a lot of JA.
All in all, I’d say that this perfume is characteristic of the current trend in house of Clean-type fragrances which have taken the mainstream perfume market by storm and help to explain why so many perfumistas are looking more closely into niche houses. Most of us already smell pretty clean, having recently bathed, so fragrances such as these are somewhat redundant, it seems to me.

Boring, blue, clean, and altogether pointless. I’ve smelled more interesting dishwashing detergents. I’m not sure what the hubbub is about, but if you like Polo Blue, then this is a stripped-down facsimile. Not worth seeking out.

For me, this one is more like L’Eau par Kenzo Kenzo for women. Fresh and floral. Good for spring & summer times. Gets me in a better moode.
Kenzo is in my top 5, so I guess I love Acqua 330 too 🙂

This was really nice. It reminds me so much of Acqua di Gio (the men’s cologne). This is what I wanted the women’s counterpart to Acqua di Gio to smell like. It also kind of reminds me of Escada Into the Blue. It’s very fresh and aquatic, with a hint of melon. Had I know this sooner, I would have purchased this one instead of Into the Blue.

Salt water, green notes, bitter sap. It’s an aquatic that smells more like a forest pond than a detergent, but the sharp notes stay strong on me even when faint floral notes creep in the give it more of a feeling of sunscreen. It’s not bad, but it’s a little odd and doesn’t truly work on me.

Sweet & feminine Acqua scent. Inoffensive unless over spray. Reminds me of these words: fresh, clean, confident, modern & sophisticated. Staying power is okay. Lasts longer when I spray it on my hair :o)
Update: I found another perfume that smells very similar to Emilio Pucci Acqua 330 once it dries down. It’s called Ghost Summer Flirt!

I am not a big fan of aquatic fragrance,
I am going more for woody-oriental. But this one surprised me in a very pleasant, delicious way. It is indeed aquatic but with so many other notes reminds me of beautiful Tahitian sunset becouse of beatiful blend of frangipani and sea accords).
Very noticeble. I’ve got tons
of compliments already. Suitable for day or night, for hit or cold.

Although this fragrance sounds very simple it is indeed complex. I think of the blue ocean when applying this fragrance edt. When it hits the skin it sits close and you & the fragrance mesh into one. The violet leaf & frangipani are the next wave to hit your sniffer and the springtime freshness is splendid. The musk takes a back seat to the airy ocean & springtime florals which I find exquisite. You know it’s there lingering but not intrusive. The lasting power is awesome too! I really enjoy aquatics & florals and this one has to be my favorite right now. I’m in the market for a full size bottle. Will definitely be one of my go to summer fragrances. Oh, and the bottle is so pretty & unique…like a piece of art glass.

My Husband got me this for valentines day and I love it. It is very aquatic, I too, have Missoni Aqua, but this is more of a salty ocean scent. It reminds me of walking on the beach with the salty sea air blowing thru my hair– nice for a mental vacation getaway.

I found this scent to be very unusual because I typically find aquatic fragrances to be to artificial but this is really beautiful and fresh.
determined4851 – :
It smells very aquatic from the bottle, I was about to think of Missoni acqua… No, not at all. It sounds more floral than aquatic on the skin getting fresher and fresher for the first few minutes. I was about to jump to the conclusion that it is all about freshness, when it came back to its floral essence again. In a few more minutes all I could feel was Frangipani – musky dry-down. In other words these notes sound sharp, exotic, dusty and specific (like a strong white lily fragrance that tickles my nose). The freshness solo turns into back vocal. At the very end the smell of freshly washed clothes with floral conditioner is left.
So the scent it not what you imagine when you sniff it from the bottle or try it on your skin for the first 5 minutes. Take your time to make sure you are not to be misled by its metamorphosis.
