Yes it’s synthetic. But synthetic isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes I don’t wanna smell complicated; I want to just smell fresh. This is a good freshie. It’s a spray n go. No more, no less.

I expected so much from this perfume… But I hate it.
Firstly, to me it is very much a masculine, or at least a unisex perfume, not women only for sure.
Secondly, it is very chemical, sharp, masculine and just so unbearable. Smells kinda like cheap Soviet cologne my grand dad used to use after shaving.
Last ages, so good on silage and longevity, but the smell itself is horrid… I can’t believe how much money I wasted….

Aug-17/Purchased blindly, with the hope of liking a new perfume upon its discovery and with the aim of widening my scent palette, this perfume comes over as very acrid to my nosebuds, nearly ammoniacal, and remains so throughout. It is very chemical and sharp, strongly pervading fabric. Too strong to wear to work. If only that first note could fade away!

This one is a fruity beast, the pineapple is really prominent with an underlying trace of Erba Pura from the same line, really pleasant, compliment getter, perfectly unisex and high quality as expected, can t recommend it enough, it is expensive but worth every penny

So next in line for testing is Sospiro accento . The whole Sospiro line is floral fruity based and accento is no difference as I spray this perfume you get a blast for pineapple with lavender with hint of jasmine and it reminded me of erba pura from the same line though this is more muted in terms of floral fruity accord you get in erba pura .
As it starts to develop you get musky vetiver notes coming into the picture holding this perfume quite well and this stays quite linear after wards . Projection and longevity is quite solid in this perfume and I see this being used more for causal occasion just like you would use Byredo pulp or Sospiro erba pura . It’s quite suited for summer and spring weather and this leans more feminine then men however a man can pull this off also .
My concern with this fragrance is price as for 100 ML for 300$ it’s not something ground breaking perfume however if you are looking for casual summer fragrance which will last you all day and money is not a concern then I will recommend you Sospiro accento .

How comes Sospiro uses synthetics and every time gets away with this crime.
Right at the top is a synthetic blast of Pineapple and Hyacinth followed by sharp musk which helps projecting the fragrance. Vetiver and Vanilla are very mild.
I have to say the longevity is 10hr when I tested on my Dubai Trip.

Is there batch difference for Accento…?
I tested extensively with samples I had and with the bottle displayed in the store (with the gold sticker on top). Got a last bottle there and to my surprise it was the old batch with a different shaped bottle without the gold sticker on top.
With my bottle, I get a BLAST of fruity pineapple compared to the ones i have tested, so much that it seemed like a different scent altogether.
Anyone has such experience?

This is my wife’s go to perfume. I will also wear it from time to time. I can see why this one gets love and hate.
It is a super sweet fragrance that has a strong floral and natural green vibe. The green is like a flower stem smell. It is very bitter. That bitter note combined with the wood notes is what makes me think of this as unisex.
The problem with this is that I cannot smell it on me. If it weren’t for the fact that other’s comment on this fragrance I wouldn’t think it performs well at all.
I tested it with my usual group at work and everyone seemed to like it. Only one person really “loved” it. The ladies seem to like this more than guys.
The first few minutes is brutal. I get strong alcohol smell then a crazy mess. After that, the pineapple shows up with the other notes in the background. It seems to live a few hours on my skin.
I don’t think this fragrance is worth the money. It smells good, but the theme is more inclined for a cheap body spray. The oils used seem middle of the road. Some of the sweetness smells a bit cheap and synthetic.
The projection is on the weaker side. Although, people with sensitive noses seem to notice. Otherwise, I get no comments.
Overall, I say this is worth it if it ever hits one of the bargain websites. If it were half the price, I’d say go for it. My wife likes it so I’ll probably always have a bottle laying around.
The rumors of a reformulation scare me. This site isn’t the first I’ve heard of Sospiro doing this. I’m a bit scared to dish out this much cash only to have an experience similar to the previous few reviews. I guess time will tell.

I had a strange experience sniffing this perfume.
On my skin the start is very different from the dry down.
When I first sprayed it on my wrist, shiseido Zen came to my mind. Then shortly after Chanel “chance” took over. It remained the same for a while. “Definitely a Feminine fragrance” I told myself.
When I smelled my wrist an hour or so after I was shocked. This is completely a different perfume. It reminded me of velvet desert oud D&G a little, but just to give you an idea. ” definitely a masculine scent !”
Well, I would perfer to buy “Zen” or “chance” , and remain feminine ; )

I really like the opening of this, it does remind me of my beloved Chance, but a more mature, refined version. I personally prefer Chance because this dries down weird, very earthy/musky…could smell like BO on the wrong chemistry.

Loved this fragrance. Right from the off it’s a fruity floral musk of the highest quality. Hints of sweet jasmine and iris with the greener more floral quality of hyacinth but never dominant.
However the main theme I get is more fruits, pineapple, musk and later woods. The base is warmer with hints of amber and the patchouli coming on stronger in the drydown. This is a perfect summer scent and I’m surprised it’s ‘for women’ because very much appeals to me.
Not bad performance too for this kind of scent.
Accento is good stuff from Xerjoff and quite different to the others of theirs I’ve sampled. Also I’m a sucker for the ridiculously opulent purple velvet flacon and heavy gold Xerjoff stopper.
A good effort.

I Absolutely Loved Sampling This Fragrance,
For Me It Is A Unisex Fragrance, It Is Rather Linear But It Smells So Good I Dont Care. I Did Notice However Long Into The Dry Down 3 Hrs-ish This Smelt Like A Softer, Less Sweet Version Of The Other Sospiro, Vivace’s Dry Down. (Maybe Just The Amber & Musk Base Xerjoff Use A Lot)
I Totally Agree With The Comment Below From Beata4u2, It Does Smell Like A Relative To Chanel Chance But Just Done A Lot Better And Less Feminine.

I loved the first blast of Accento. And the drydown. And yet it smelled so familiar. Like an old friend. And then it ‘hit’ me! 2003, Chanel Chance. So I checked notes on Fragrantica and… well, check for yourself! Apart from Amber (Accento) they are exactly the same! If it’s a coincidence then it’s a really funny one. I will get myself a bottle of Chance at the fraction of the price. Or not… (update below)
Update: revisited Chanel Chance as I haven’t smelled it for years and must confess that even though these two could be sisters they are not identical twins. Also, Accento, in my opinion is better blended. I think I have a bit of soft spot for Xerjoff and Sospiro lines. Accento is going on my Wish List.
So funny – whenever I add Chanel Chance as ‘This perfume reminds me of’ it disappears very quickly… Strange.

I got it, I’m a dude and I love it! pretty strong so you don’t need much. Less overpowering in winter and fall, great for a cold night out on the town. I’d use a drop in summer.

The iris and jasmin in this fragrance dance in contrast to the fresh pineapple florals. The entire fragrance in grounded by a firm yet soft vetiver note and classic Xerjoff base of vanilla. This fragrance is both fresh and calming while adding a little something different to the game. I absolutely love the pineapple note and find it lasts surprisingly long on the skin. CompariScents to this fragrance would be Creed Millesime Tabarome. Biggest difference is the pineapple fruitiness, otherwise both share an ironically reminiscent steamy fresh ambergris and tobacco quality.
As for season I would have to say its perfect for spring and fall, but could see this as a fairly easy signature scent as long as your not baking in the sun all day everyday.
And as for gender… This couldn’t get more unisex ! It’s a happy blend of fruits, florals woods and amber. I could see it working well on any person and enjoyed by everyone.
Accento is must try from the Xerjoff house, and definitely a winner from the new and exclusive Sospiro line ;>}
