I absolutely love this scent. This is my favorite out of all the Acorelle’s organic fragrances.
The scent is bright and crisp. I can detect ylang ylang, jasmine and tiaré very well and the citrus balances the sweetness of the florals (and vanilla) perfectly.
Beautiful everyday scent.
It’s funny how in almost all scent’s that I love or like, there is some vanilla in their base notes. The same applies to this one. Yet I can’t say that I had known that without looking at the note pyramid. I absolutely adore a good vanilla scent, yet I seem to adore it much more if it’s well hidden behind white florals, citrus and possibly some honey, so that it’s not a clear vanilla and the sweetness is controlled especially by the citruces. The same applies to coconut scents for me.

Absolu Tiare is marketed as an organic or natural perfume. It is supposed to have mainly natural oils and ingredients. It is in the category of exotic or tropical perfumes. It opens up very flowery and pretty. It is a deep intoxicating sweet with a slight note of sour tiare and frangipani combo at first. Then it moves into coconut- not a sultry simmering variety at all, rather it is very delicate and hardly there. What disappointed me is what happens in the dry down stages: it becomes sweet like hard candy, and then all I smell is cheap candy for a while. Lastly it almost disappears into a faint citrusy sweet chalky powder. If you like exotic and tropical white flowers combined with candy sweetness and a slight chalky citrus powder in the end- this is it! It is also very light with slight projection and staying power. Pretty, organic and sweet…
