A very good fig-inspired perfume.
It’s like a whole fig tree closed in a bottle: not too sweet (just a bit), not too green. Airy, spacial, aquatic, ozonic.
Deifnitely in my top 5 of fig scents, other being 1.Caligna, 2.Jardins de Kerylos, 3.Ciel d’Airain, 4.Fig Leaf (Demeter).

Another winner in the Bissoumine line ! A leafy green fig , not sweet, lovely…..

There are everything I like in a fragrance, this is sexual torture in a bottle, a heavenly mixture of green fig, wood, clove and ginger.
Once that drydown arrives…you ain’t smelled nothing like it. Ever. Period. Imagine a milky, creamy, fluffy, sweetened sandalwood and musk.
Overall:8/10
Ps: Remember, this is MY opinion.

It transports me directly to the South of France when I wear it. The smell to me is exactly what you find when you stand underneath an old fig tree. Fig yes, but earthy, warm and sensual. I love it.

this creates a lovely impression of fig – the milkiness and subtle fruity notes leave me calm and relaxed. Cosy and easy to like :))

A L’Ombre du Figuier sure is true to its name! It smells intensely of fig leaf, a very pungent, green and natural smell. The ginger adds a nice touch of bitterness while the fig fruit can be distinguished on the background as a vaguely sweet, somewhat juicy impression.
This is very well done, very true to the source! It actually makes me think I’m there lying under a fig tree somewhere in the dry, sunny Greece.
It’s more Aromatic Green than Aromatic Fruity. Definitely more leafy and sharp than pulpy and sweet.

Thank you Kitty and Fragrantica for the beautiful set of free samples, which I received today. It’s my birthday so it’s an extra pressie! I can’t wait to try them all and I’ll review them soon.

I am an addict of “A l’ombre du figuier”, I have been wearing it for 2 years now and don’t give up… I love when my son tells me: “tu sens bon”…
I use also the scented candle in the house, the smell is delicate, fresh and neat.
