Wow! If its the same I wore this in the seventies then they discontinued it! It was marketed as a Unisex cologne, and bought the rollerball edition if my memory isn’t fading
mulberryes – :
Thanks God,reissued again after the foolish decision to discontinued, maybe the best fragrance for hot summer days and night, very cool scent with menthol
Mad_max – :
I loved it in the 70s especially if kept in the fridge. After being forced to mow the lawn when it was 95 degrees. I don’t what it smells like now.

Fragrantica says this was released in 2008 but I remember a unisex 4711 Ice cologne in Australia in the late 70’s. It had a ton of menthol which actually cooled the skin down. It was a perfect drugstore cologne for a country with a hot climate and little air conditioning.
I found the television ad on youtube from 1979! What a riot of an ad. And the jingle. Pure class. Youtube search “4711 Ice Cologne Australian ad 1979”. I guarantee it is unlike any fragrance ad you have ever seen, thankfully.

I just use this for sanitize purpose only. It is cheap and feel sterile too

Liquified Fisherman’s Friend!
It’s very close to smelling just like unlit menthol cigarettes.
Though this comes in handy when in need of a quick cool down, Found 1 oz bottle for 1$ which made me all hot and sweaty. So this cologne got a load of use right of the freakin’ bat!
The spritzer is top notch. But the bottle has gotta stay in the medicine cupboard…

Initially this smells like the hot lemon freshen up towels you get on planes or in Indian restaurants after your meal – chemical lemon smell. Not necessarily unpleasant but luckily it changes quickly.
It dries down and gets some depth and smoothness. I don’t get all the notes listed above. It is very light, fresh and subtle but with some hints of spice and cedar.
I like it. Not really a fragrance to wear out, no real projection. It’s not going to get noticed unless someone is really, really close. More for yourself to feel fresh and clean.
Would be great in the daytime on a hot holiday. It projects, gently, for a relatively short time (2-3 hours on me) but it’s cheap and gentle so you can just reapply as often as you like. In hot weather it is actually just about detectable on my skin for 6 or 7 hours.
I agree with the reviews below. And it is definitely unisex.

An ice cool cologne that i use everytime before bedtime to cool and calm down. Will use more during hot weather of the cool peppermint.
Deroxczgym – :
yup – definitely unisex 🙂 At least as long as you don’t expect syrup or flowers. This is an aromatic in the best sense!
Like it’s pre-decessor it’s inexpensive, unisex, unpretentious. And like delphine67 stated – it works against migraine, refreshes mind and body and the addition “Ice” is spot on.
My bottle will be used up soon and I will soon buy a new one!

wonderfull and refreshing on a hot summer day. Even to use on a headaque or you feel nauseus. It works for me.
and in my opinion its not a men cologne but a unisex
