I’ve never before written a review for a fragrance I haven’t smelled, and I will buy this one, but thought that my previous experience with the 4711 Acqua Colonia range might be useful to anyone thinking about blind buying their newest colognes. I have most of the current and discontinued colognes, and bar one, think very highly of them. They are light, fresh fragrances which come in beautiful bottles, for a pretty good price. Just don’t expect them to wear for hours – they are really more designed as a quick pick-me-up. Most of the Acqua Colonias are appropriate for Summer or Spring IMO, but given the notes in the Blackberry and Cocoa cologne, I can imagine it might be suitable after a shower to wear as a light, comfy scent to bed on cooler nights. They are a great product for the price. The shower gels are nice, but I find the body lotions, while true to the scent, just a little thin and cheap. Hope this helps someone. Cheers.
