The first fragrance from Italian selective perfume line Memento, which belongs to Eurocosmesi, is dedicated to one moment in Italy. It opens the perfume collection of Italian Olfactive Landscapes. A ferryboat sails to Lido; a beautiful sight of Venetia is ahead. The creator of this perfume Marie Salagmagne tried to impress early morning, fog, autumn leafs, rain drops and waves , all creating a feeling of the moment you want to remember forever: blue – grey aroma of an autumn Venetian morning. Salty marine notes open the composition, the freshness of anis mixed with the freshness of salty wind. We can feel black rush and send in the heart, besides peony. Sandal, patchouli, amber and musk are at the base. The perfume was created in 2007, the package designer is project: Annalisa Pagetti – A+, picture: Laura Sciacavelli. The nose behind this fragrance is Marie Salamagne.

I hunted this perfume for years, and accidentally stumbled upon it on ebay. Ordered it without a second thought, and it was not cheap. How disappointed was I! It was a clone of Womanity, minus the sweet fig accord. I cannot stand Womanity, and because of it I cannot stand Aqua Motu (which also smells like Venezia Olfactory Landscapes). It was aquatic, sandy and foggy, with a rotten egg smell I couldn’t stop smelling. Having been on the Vaporetto to Venice, this perfume reminded me nothing of that experience. Nice bottle and packaging nonetheless.

It is a fragrance that reminds me of nights spent under the open sky, somewhere on the beach, near the dunes.
It’s the smell of sand dunes in the bottle.
Dense, green pines, heated summer sun, swaying with the sea wind gust.
I smell the sand and the sea waves that throw pebbles on the shore saturated with seaweed.
This gentle herbal scent (peppermint sense here, though perhaps a star anise)
very invigorating and make your way even medicinal and therapeutic ..
Incredibly intriguing and timeless.
The smell of realistic sea.

Ok, so I got this blind in a swap. It is a rare fragrance, in a sense that I have never smelled anything like it before.
It is beautiful and nondescript, in its own way, if you could picture the smell of a painting, this would be the smell of Turner’s paintings: swished, whispered, foggy, memorable and unique.
This is not a perfume for somebody who wants to make a statement, but for somebody who wants to leave an impression. It’s delicate and unique, a rare combination of aquatic and powdery notes, with some phantom flowers too.
I have to say that in the first minute I thought I was anosmic to it, all I could smell was a slight blast of alcohol. However very soon I started perceiving its real smell. It does last incredibly long, I could smell most pleasant delicate waves coming off my arm even the next morning.
I have to say, I love it!
The package is beautiful, and so is the perfume, but this is suitable only for those who can appreciate its delicate nature! A+ in my opinion!

This fragrance is very light, I smell herbs, sands and sea water in it. It is light but very long lasting.
