Description

2000 Fleurs was created to memorialize the euphoria experienced at the dawn of the 21st century. In this fragrance, feminine sensuality is celebrated with a beautiful bouquet of floral notes. The fragrance opens with luscious violet, magnolia and rose, evolving to a floral-filled heart of jonquil (narcissus), iris, jasmine and lilac, all resting on a base of amber and musk. 2000 Fleurs was launched in 2001. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Creed Sixth Generation.

I smell another floral mess… I got this same sensation when trying to wear Cabotine… something about having too many florals in a composition just seems to muddle up my nose and I’m unable to smell anything besides a dusty musk… it might just be my nose but judging from the dislike bar I’m not too sure I’d like it even if this weren’t the case. This was my first Creed so I’m a little let down but I’m not gonna let it inhibit me from trying some more of their popular fragrances. I have hope for a couple… also sillage on me was not as strong as the votes show… it’s actually quite soft.
*Could I use any more ellipses haha. What can I say, I like a literary device, I stick to it… :p

Again a sad review. Wanted so much to like this. I think the black currant note doesn’t agree with me. I am so sad really wanted to like this. On me black currant takes over shortly after spritzing it on and then the flowers become less and fade out. I am sure there is a Creed fragrance I would love. However I will have to wait for that one. It may even be that it is more suited to early spring than the warm and sometimes humid and even stuffy hot days here in SA. So to those who can wear this fragrance: all power to you!

I don’t know what they were thinking offering this, but yeah… it smells like an old, shrivelled-up, rotten bouquet… I love Creed fragrances for men, I just wish they’d spend as much time creating something worthy for the ladies.

I don’t like this for sure and don’t dislike this to the point of run far from it. It’s just weird and not something I would wear, even if it’s not a total stink. There are much more stinky things around. At least, this perfume is different.
It’s exercise for your nose and brain because it will take a lot, maybe days trying to see what it smells like, which other perfume. None actually.
This Olivier Creed, whose face on perfume boxes looks goodlooking enough but snobbish and annoyed, is a visionary man or a big laughing one. Now smell this one and tell me, would it be Queen Victoria or Lord XXX de XXXX?
It’s such a widespread habit to make comparison between perfumes and say: “Oh, it smells like xxxx but with more rose, less vanilla, more banana, less pear and that’s it, exactly!”
Try and do this with 2000 Fleurs!
Of course, the name is probably due to 2K rather than 2000 flowers inside the perfume. Well, it could 2000 fleurs of the same kind if it was a natural oil. Ok, I digress…
2000Fleurs smells to me like a massive attack of angry linden flowers smashed together with some tree barch. For some unknown reason it reminds me of birch trees.
No linden flower and no birch is mentioned in the note list, I knew already.
It has poor sillage and long lomgevity.
I gave my vials to a dear friend, one clever and extra-kind friend who has exactly my opposite tastes in perfume. She liked it.

This too took me by a rather dark surprise. The good thing is that i put it on my leg because I read the warnings before applying and it smelled like ‘2000 fleurs too many’ and, yes, several day old floral vase water but fast forward to less than an hour later and voila: it is a very green : very modern fresh scent. In a similar vein to say Alexander McQueen kingdom and Aedes de Venustas. Crisp and vegetal; grassy tomato y and actually not so bad in the end!

Man alive, I don’t know where any of these 2000 flowers actually even are in this fragrance – all I get is sickly-sweet pale raspberry Jolly Rancher candy.
I’d avoid this one, folks. Unless Creed starts making something like 2000 Dentist Chairs that somehow ends up smelling like a trip through a gilded garden.

2000 Fleurs?? Should be called 2000 Weeds!!! Very weedy with only a hint of flowers. Can’t stand it.

Omg 2000 is right, it smells like 2000 rotten flowers sitting in the hot florida heat. I might throw up in a minute.

I liked this scent very much in the beginning, flowers with a sour black currant (i like black currant in perfumes) and mandarine orange, but after some time the scent settled down and the flowers mostly disappeared, and turned into orris and some nuts or spices, and this reminded me the shade of an old perfume, spoilt by ages.

This is such a terrible smell. I wish i could call it a “scent” and I know tastes differ but something is very wrong with this one. Maybe something went wrong during the production process and adding all the components and they had to pour in the bottles whatever stuff they had? I’m sorry but it reminds me of a cat piss – it’s so strong and intruding like ammonia.

It smells like something that used to smell good 20 years ago and now it’s old and rancid.
I bought a vile(sample) just to see what it smelled like. So finally i get it in the mail I can’t wait to smell it.
OMG ! i thought this people have sold me a bad perfume. There should have been a warning in the label.. Caution it might make you faint…:)
I guess not because what people are writing here i’m not the only one. I also bought another one from Creed same nasty smell .. . less nastier. It’s offensive to wear something like that and go out in public. Please don’t do it. Unless you leave alone and if you leave alone now you know why.
There that’s my review. Nothing against “The House of Creed” they have been around for a very long time.

A very big floral, as you would expect, with lots of heady magnolia and lily. Too strong for my taste, but very pleasant. In my opinion, not pleasant enough to be worth the price tag – but I do think all Creed fragrances are overpriced for what they are.

Smells like big flower bouquet, composition is verry linear, clearly could detect rose, violet and narciss. This one is pure floral scent, and recommend it only to big floral lovers. Maybe is a little heavy, with powdery dry down
Couldn’t say that is loud or unpleasant, but for my opinion a little boring.
    Verry – flowery

Creed 2000 FLEURS took me a bit by surprise. I must have been expecting an ueber-bouquet–something along the lines of BEAUTIFUL. Instead what I found was a sort of apocalyptic Y2K-inspired creation which features the famous/notorious Creed water–clearly an acquired taste–poured into a vase filled with flowers, above all, magnolia, but narcissus and jasmine manage to cut through the C2O as well.
To my nose, it’s a somewhat inharmonious mix: the metrosexual-silver water doesn’t seem to help the flowers a bit. Perhaps if the water were diluted–as odd as that may sound! Or maybe this Creedessence just works better in less floral compositions.
I’m now wondering whether 2000 FLEURS might have been the inspiration behind Lanvin RUMEUR–not because they rhyme, but because each opens with a blast of chemical solvent and prominently features magnolia. C’est possible… In any case, my 100ml bottle of RUMEUR will serve to satisfy all of my chemical solvent-saturated magnolia needs for the foreseeable future, at least until the apocalypse.

I don’t know whether it’s my chemistry, but it seems they did something wrong with entire fragrance combination: there’s some stinky, chemically-unpleasant note in it that ruins the bouquet. I was expecting a special fragrance with this one, thank god i tried a sample first. kind of a disappointment for me…
Update: after an hour, the scent started to remind me of blood >”< now that’s unexpected) but maybe it’s only to my nose =)

I wanted to like anything Creed, but am so glad I purchased a small decant to try before spending the huge $$ on this! It was horrible, horrible. I waited and waited for it to dry down into something vaguely enjoyable but that never happened. I just ended up washing it off and assuming my nose just isn’t sophisticated enough to run with the Creed crowd!

I had this and it was just very strong.I didn’t like it.It gave me a head it was just too flowery.

i’m not a big fan of Creeds but this one is truly vile and synthetic imho. It starts with a highly fake magnolia accord, and a combo of jasmine and narcissus, that could be intersting if the quality wasn’t so lousy. The sensual base doesn’t add much to the disaster.

I am not one who likes flowery perfumes per se but when the flowers have something indefinite in them, that’s my perfume. 2000 Fleurs is special in spring and its watermelon note gives an extra touch, a very classy one. I do not like fruit notes but here watermelon is just the must
    EDIT:
Watermelon is not listed. So are you saying that when you mix 2000 flowers, what you get is watermelon? Hummm ……….
